Will dual Core games work on single core processor htc desire HD . i think that games should work with few tweaks

Also if you compare desire HD overclock to 1.8ghz with 756 mb ram will come close to dual Core handsets

Might depend more how the developer codes the game.
why they shouldn't work on the dhd, i think we need only to overclock to 1,2 or 1,5 but there are more games for normal android phones as for dualcore phones
Android 2.4 sorts it so duel core apps work on single core. Just gotta wait for that

Pease help.i make myy desire root with Unrevoked, but how can i inncreasee my ram?
Dude... there's no upgrade ram for phones. The ram is a chip soldered to the phone. Unlike computers where you can take them out and change.

While running quadrant I checked the system info and it said my atrix only has one core I know it has two but is this beca us e quadrant isnt supporting dual core yet?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
probably because android isn't supporting dual core yet, not just quadrant.

Actually android does support dual core. Quadrant does NOT bench both cores, just one. If you'd like a multi core bench I recommend smart bench 2011.

I meant the performance 'cause now Combination of 1g Hz and 512m ram appears slow for the latest version but atrixs spec can nearly reach a PC hence whether it will become slow before long remains to watch

Where are you getting 512 as the ram size. The atrix has 1 gig of ram, the update did not change this.
surely that spec refers to HTC desire level

I think what he is referring to in the first part is that phones with those specs are slow.

So who will be the first to port this to dinc. Looks cool and would try it out when available.

Dosen't ubuntu require a dual core processor?
It requires a cortex-A9. Technically there could be a single core A9 but as the A9 is a lot faster than the Snapdragon (scorpion core), there will be a lot of stuttering I expect.
And what is the point of who will be the first to port x product to y device posts? It doesn't really serve any purpose.
Personally, I don't think this port is going to even happen.
Ok was curious. Didn't know it needed certain specs.
