The Sony Xperia ZL has a notification light, which Sony has emphasised in some of the press photos that were released. Whilst the notification light is quite small, it has a nifty LED that actually changes colour depending on what content is showing on screen. It works in a very similar way to the Xperia U, but as the Xperia ZL light is so small, the effect is much more subtle. Nonetheless it is a nice effect and you can see it in action in the video below.

This is old news... But would have been great if it were alot bigger. It's like a dot on the video which is barely noticeable

I like the Sony soundtrack you used (anyone knows the name of the song?) and I'd like to have seen this led notification on the Z as well. Maybe Honami will have something similar.

edit the build.prop file change lcd density or get one of the many tool from the play store to do it for you

And tried it , pretty cool, but wouldn't use it permanently like that...
Tablet ui look great.. so much space on screen ! but 320 dpi is to low im running with 340.. i cant use swiftkey in 320... my fingers r too big :<
I see that it is not really the tablet software, but rather the way android handles onscreen things when fooling around with the dpi, like the homescreen can also rotate now. Any idea to always have screen rotation, at the default dpi?
Proper dpi for TabletUI would be 240 - just like in the Xperia Tablet Z. This fully enables Tablet UI including the status bar (Much better if you are on a AOSP rom )

It does work on an XHDPI device running 4.2.2
however the 2nd widget( with the xperia S label) doesn't show all album arts unlike the other 3 widgets.

I just mix the musicwidget from xperias.
With the new musicwidget ,updatealbumart function is diferent.
In the new musicwidget from KK, The AlbumartBitmap is low quality.
So i use updatealbumart function from xperias, it causes many problems

it work for the new xperia home, if your have the new xperia home
does not update album art even on the 4x4 widget some times (smart cover)
also a sugguestion ..how about using sony pause/prev/next buttons ..would give it a proper sony look :cyclops:
