Running Superclean 2.4
Wake up delay only when im in a application and it goes to sleep after the 15 seconds and when I try to wake it up, pressing the power button it doesn't wake up until I press it twice and it wakes up in the lock screen. Anyone else having these issues?
I reverted back to EB01 stock and worked perfect and then went back to superclean with the same issues

Same here, I posted a thread about it about 4 or 5 below yours. Mine won't even wake up. Just shuts down essentially.
Same thing (as in the OP, not the first reply) happens to me as well (on SC 2.2).
Any suggestions adrynalyne?
I also have this annoying issue. I'm running stock EB01.
This happens to me after I use a messed up modem.bin.

So are you saying you had the same problem and fixed it by reflashing the modem file?
same as OP however it doesnt seem to bother me much, irritating at times yes but still functions.

Yep happens to me but not a big deal. Sure it will be fixed as more versions release.

Has anyone run across an issue where their back button seems to self-activate and get stuck "down"?
About 2-3 times a day I'll be using my phone and it just goes spastic. The only means to stop the back-spree is to press the back button to "reset it" to the non-pressed mode. It's seems to be happened more and more often, which makes me wonder if I need to warranty my phone.
I'm running Superclean Froyo (.8), but it was happening on Superclean Eclair as well.
Anyone have a similar issue?

I've had lagging buttons recently on DL30 but nothing that severe. I'd try a fresh download and re-installing and seeing if it fixes the issue.
I just flashed Taboonay 3.0 ICS ROM on my A500 and it's working smooth, awesome job.
But there's a tiny problem keeps bugging me. When I lock the screen, that is to press the power button, sometimes it will just normal lock. And apparently, most of the times, lockscreen never shows up so I have to turn the power on again.
How can I fix that problem?

Are you using the "lockscreen mod"? If so, it is a feature not really meant to be used in this "beta" version of ICS. Notice I said "beta", as it is not an official Acer release.
Also, because this is a beta, sometimes, you have to hit the PWR button several times, then wait. Maybe you will wake the lockscreen.
Also, did you flash the 3.0.1 update? You need to do this if you didn't. It fixes Sleep of Death issues.
it appears to be on...if i plug into computer i can hear the computer "ding" and box pops up on computer...any ideas?
it was at 60+% last night when i went to bed...running BAMF 2.3.1...

contacted google...they had me plug the 7 in...hold the power button down for about 20 secs or so...it actually rebooted...was told it is an issue with the 4.1.1 bootloader not playing well with the device...does not happen often...so if this happens to you...plug it in...hold down power button until it wakes up or reboots...

I have exactly the same problem, happened to me two times today already.
Nearly once a day I'd say.
Did google say, if they are working to fix this bug? It's strange that no one else is reporting about this problem...

sounds like sod(sleep of death). its most likely a bamf rom/kernel issue, not a google issue. sod usually occurs because of lowered core voltages or from undervolting. sleep of death is when your device wont wake but is still on. a force reboot will bring it back.

Just wanted to add, that rotation sometimes stops working on my device. If I toggle Auto-Rotate in the notification bar, this will result in a complete freeze and I have to force reboot as well. Thought the problem was gone after a factory reset, but startet again.
I think I will get a replacement device on monday...

Currently I'm using stock ROM/kernel. So this is a known software bug and no hardware problem? Haven't found many threads about this problem, so it seemed not to be that common. That's why I though about a hardware defect.
I am current using PA mar11 build with franco r102 kernel.
I have issues bringing the menu up when you hold the power button. My power button is not broken, because after a restart (using power toggles) it works again.
Happens randomly. I have searched the forums and have not seen anyone mention this, has anyone else experience this?
Update: Do a fresh wipe, problem will go away
What issues do you have exactly? I mean, what exactly do you see when you long-press your power button?

after a long-press no menu comes out and my screen turns off like I pressed it normally.
I have the exact same problem, except that my nexus 4 isn't rooted and I can't use toggle buttons to restart. So basically I cannot restart my phone unless i let the battery running out or i reset the phone.
Weird... I just got this too... restart and it's working again... but for how long.... and I never would have noticed if I wasn't trying to take a screenshot!

I have exactly the same problem running slimrom 6.5 and anarkia kernel.
After a reboot the reboot menu always comes up. After a while it doesn't work anymore. Turning on/off the screen always works, the problem only affects long press.
Has anyone a sultuion for that?

My Nexus 4 is now having this same issue
I thought I was the only one! It happened after a bit of rain with my phone in the pocket and I thought that was the cause but after holding it down and seeing it reset I see that it is not. Wonder why this is happening.
Note: I am running completely stock 4.3 at the moment with a locked bootloader, but this has also happened on 4.2.
I got this issue with franco kernel. putting back the original kernel fixed the issue for me. I was able to reproduce the problem with another nexus 4 phone. there's maybe a config to tweak or i'm messing something up.

Exactly same problem.. But a long press of the button for about ten to fifteen shuts down the phone in my case.. Stock 4.3 no root
I no longer have this issue. The fix: fresh wipe
Lately there is some issue with the Power Button of my Nexus 4..It requires a little more force to press. It was not like that while on 4.2.2...Issue started to show up after i flashed 4.3 Factory image..I know that the software is okay but suddenly what happened to the power button.I can hear the click sound but it wont work. When i press a little harder,it works then. Sometimes it works with normal force & sometimes it needs a little more force..Strange behaviour
Did you forget to flash the hardware.img? That's a common issue, a lot of people experienced this because they forgot to flash the hardware.img after upgrading to 4.3

hardware.img
There was no such file in the factory Image..Now what is this?..Really i have no idea about it
Okay i have now moved back to 4.2.2 & there is no such issue there..Screen locks/unlocks fine..Power Button works normally. Why it gives me issues in 4.3...This thing is beyond my knowledge :crying:
I have this issue exactly , however I didn't flash the factory image , I just updated it via OTA.
I thought I may dropped the phone !!!!

Someone here said that we have to flash hardware.img file..It's because of that we are having this issue..Now what is this hardware.img..
Even Google dont know what this .img file really is
I've been having this same issue since the 4.3 update. Occasionally when pressing the power button to lock, it acts like I pressed it twice going off and back on. I've searched and noticed a lot of other members are experiencing the same issue. I'm on stock 4.3 flashed from the factory image. Even flashed back to 4.2.2 for a couple of days to see if it would happen and it does not. Definitely a 4.3 issue (for some).

Exactly the same issue here. When i press button to lock the device.Screen goes off but then instantly turns on again. It's like i pressed it 2 times.Sometimes i have to press power button harder to make it do the job.It all started after i flashed factory image.
@aanonymoushuman:I still am searching on google what really hardware.img file is..Dude common reply already
I think I have the same issue after the latest minor OTA update the week before.
The 1/4 chance that screen turns on after power button pressed about 2 seconds longer than normal.
I flashed a customer ROM based on CM10, Same issue !
but my one is not subject to applying different amount of force, in fact i think it has nothing to do with the hardware itself. never had any issue with 4.2.2
I assume hardware.img is the hardware update that adds the new nubs to your phone, among other things. Too bad it's a joke.
But seriously, your power button is probably breaking or broken. It happened to me. How do you know if this is happening to you? Don't worry, it will get worse.
