Any Updates on Carrier for Xperia

Sorry if this has been asked a billion times before, but any updates on Xperia being carried by anyone in US (AT&T?)
I'm between a Fuze and Xperia, but the Xperia's hefty price tag is a deterrent. Trying to hold out for any news, but I have an 8525 and the upgrade bug is itchin'.
Nothing from AT&T but Rogers (Canadian carrier, uses same bands as AT&T) will be picking it up and offering it in the Summer it seems, along with a LOT of other really nice phones.
Heres the link: New Phones for Rogers

What's with T-Mobile's "Grip" on Android?

Bit of a general android topic here but seriously what is the deal with T-Mobile UK getting almost EVERY android phone to be released in the UK (aside from the HTC Magic).
They now have:
- Samsung Galaxy Portal Exclusively
- LG Intouch Max Exclusively
- "Tmobile G1" (Dream) Exclusively
- "Tmobile G2 Touch" (Hero) Time-Exclusively (it's also on Orange BUT the 2 companies are merging).
- TMobile Pulse (HUwaei model) Exclusively
And rumored:
- Nexus One
- HTC Bravo Exclusively
- Xperia X10 (only rumored)
I mean, I'm all for T-Mobile UK Supporting android but it doesn't really go well with the whole "Open-ness" that T-Mobile is pretty much the only network you can pick up android on. Other phones in the UK running android and on other networks are only:
- HTC Magic on Vodafone
- HTC Hero (after about 6 months) on Three
- Xperia X10 confirmed for Vodafone
- Nexus One confirmed for Vodafone
I would like to see "Exclusivity" cut down from it's current extent. We should be able to chose the Network AND the Phone not chose a Phone and be given a network with it!

Maybe the problem is that none of the other carriers have meaningfully sought to carry Android devices? Android is not a single-device platform; each manufacturer can spin out many Android devices. So there is certainly no lack of hardware to sell. If you have a problem with T-Mo UK being the primary carrier for Android, then maybe you should complain to the other carriers that are not paying Android enough attention. I mean I don't know who else you could validly complain to!

Xperia Neo approved with AT&T 3G

http://androidcommunity.com/sony-ericsson-xperia-neo-returns-to-the-fcc-20110328/
According to this article, the Neo has passed the FCC now. It also says that AT&T will pick this phone up. That doesn't really follow that they will carry both the Arc and the Neo, so it's gotta be one or the other. Anybody have any insider information?

It took AT&T to adopt X10 after more than half a year and probably we will see ARC or NEO with att by Oct.
ATT doesn't respond
Rogers doesn't respond
SE US or Canada don't respond either.
Good that we are in age of communication. Thats shame/
It may be that they both, arc and Neo, will be sold through SonyStyle unlocked just like the X10 mini, mini pro and X8. But, since Rogers runs the same bands as AT&T, it may not be clear cut as to which carrier will carry it and which one will not.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Coming to AT&T...Maybe?

Is The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Coming to AT&T?
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has recently passed FCC with AT&T bands but, as far as FCC filings are concerned, this doesn't always necessarily mean that one particular smartphone that has been cleared will actually get to that specific operator.
According to a User Agent Profil (UAProf) listing, there's a certain LT15at model from manufacturer Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. The original Xperia Arc is just LT15a so the addition of "at" at the end of the LT15 codename could indicate an AT&T destination. The bands are definitely there according to FCC.
The smartphone sports a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 4.2-inch 480x854 FWVGA display and a superb eight-megapixel camera with LED flash with the mobile Exmor R backlit image sensor that enables for great image quality capturing.

Initially the arc was bounded for AT&T, however, last I heard was that all LT15a's production was halted and shifted to LT15i due to the tsunami that hit Japan, destroying the main manufacturing facility. The only batch of LT15a made went to Rogers, so I don't know if they'll continue to get the stocks since there's more LT15i demand. All I know is it's very unlikely that it will be released anytime soon. More like Late Q3 or Q4, but by that time....there's going to be something else...

Best mobile carrier in UK

Hey guys,
I'm probably moving to London this year and I would like to know which is the best mobile carrier in the UK?
I'll also buy a new phone there, I'm looking forward for a new Nokia Lumia 920.
Thanks for answers in advance.
Kind regards,
M.
I guess that depends on your usage, but I've heard good things about O2. Check out GiffGaff as well. I have also heard that Orange has very bad reception over there. So I'd stay away from them.
go for GiffGaff! i have a invite for you.
I researched this a lot before getting my contract.
It can depend on your needs, make sure the carrier works at your office/house/important places.
Either borrow a friend's phone or get a cheep paygo sim first
Personally I found that vodafone and virgin have very patchy areas, where I live there is no coverage
O2 is the best IMO, I have yet to find a place where I don't have signal and someone else does.
(GIFGAF and Tesco is the same as O2 so if they have better deals go for them, I've heard good things about GIFGAF)
You may want to consider EE (everything everywhere) if you are going to get a (uk compatible) 4G device as no other carrier is getting 4G tilll next year
