Hi i m a new hd2 owner, coming from an acer s200.Three days ago i installed cyanogenmod v7 on my hd2 and it works wonderfull. The only think i can t understand reading and searching many threads tutorial and discussion on google,is how app2sd+ work.I ve installed many programs and games on hd2 and now the internal memory is almost full, many apps can t start if i move those to the sd with the option under application manager. From what i understit and i need to create an ext partition into the sd card, and then move those apps to the sd from the application manager button. Is it right?
Is there a guide to learn more of this process?i m a bit confused sometimes

You have plenty of options. If you are already on Android then you simply use your gmail account and it will sync your contacts/calender etc.
If youa re on windows I think you can do same thing or use sim as suggested or you can also use a program like SPB’s migration tool.
please help

You didnt ask a question about flash.
The HD2 is a excellent phone and I love it. I love trying new roms/software and cant really see myself buying a new phone for a long while.

When u say market, i believe u mean on android...Well there r several ways u can have ur apps backed up..
1. Google does it 4 u automatically...
2. Using softwares like "MyBackup Root/Pro" or "TitaniumBackup"...etc
3. If u've got CWM installed (my favorite)...use it 2 do a full n free backup.
Or are u talking abt d exact location on ur device where the "market" stores downloaded apks?...i'm not sure @ d moment but will browse my fone ltr n see if i can find it.
would someone be so kind and tell me if it's possible to take calls in "imilka's RAM Desire HD v1.0"? And what does it mean with "sense" & "sense-free"? Would really appreciate your answers!

I'm not familiar with "imilka's RAM Desire HD v1.0's ROM, posting a link to the thread should help us answer ur question better...
"Sense/Sense-free" tags simply tells if the particular build has HTC Sense screen layout & widgets bundled in or not.

With the WinMo installed on HD2 I used Active Sync to sync my contacts with Outlook.
Now using an Android-SD-Build i use the HTC-Software "HTC Sync":

Works perfect with outlook )

Can you explain how the first works?
"1. Google does it 4 u automatically..."
Simply after a fresh install of android: i can go to the market and click on "my apps" and reinstall all my apps?

Well when u first install & run android on ur device, while setting up ur accounts...especially ur gmail acct...well, it asks u if u want ur settings n data backed up to google...accepting it means some of ur phone settings (like remembered wireless networks....etc) and links to apps u've downloaded & installed thru the stock android market all get saved & uploaded 2 google's servers...So d next time u flash say another/d same ROM n while setting up accounts...and u set up d same google acct, ur phone ltr automatically performs a sync (wit internet connection ofcuz)...And things like ur contacts, settings, favorites, and previously installed apps all "magically" (as steve jobs would say) appear in ur programs list...
Summary....wit d option on..wheneva u install an app 4rom d market, android simply remembers the app link, saves it & connects it wit ur email..then when next u flash, it simply re-connects 2 those apps, downloads em and installs...all r done automatically (while sync is on)...Sync takes awhile so u'll have 2 let ur fone settle.

Simple, either on android or WinMo....Just use the built in format option or download n use this sd formatter...Use an external sd card reader or connect ur device as mass storage to format.

Yes, you are trying to boot a still-under-development ROM. It still has a lot of bugs. But if you are insistent, read through the pages of that thread and you will find answers . (one of them is another zip for eu HD2)
Edit: First page has v0.7 which afaik works on eu.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40881558&postcount=62
If I understood correctly there is a script that asks before installing the version of EU or TMO. When I installed this question was not.
sorry for my english - using translator sometimes)
Do you have an EXT partition on your SD card? If you do, then try increasing your /system partition to account for any potential bad blocks.

I have been using my S5360 for quite a long while, and as we all know, the main problem is with internal memory of 190.You can't even have ten market apps at once in your phone.I have tried quite a lot of things, like changing custom roms, using link2sd,busybox method, but after all, whenever we move app file, its dex files and data files are always to internal memory.I am quite tired of all this, and really looking for help.As this forum is well known for pro geeks,I hope someone might point me in the right direction.
Hyperion 9 is recommended. Please don't create these type of thread which puts a question on the hardwork of the Developer of the ROM.

Certainly not!As I mentioned,i was only concerned about more internal storage,i did not doubt any of the roms' quality,I am in no position to be judgemental.

Fair enough , as for android, you will need an sdcard. A lot of your media, music, pictures etc is stored on the sdcard. Assuming you have an international HD2 (not tmous), most recent roms require an ext4 partition on the sdcard too.
As for broken/outdated links, there may well be mirrors posted in the threads too (search thread for "mirror"). Some people still have certain roms on hdd, so try to post on the thread for a mirror (you have <10 posts, so your post will be redirected to new q&a thread, but we will still see it). Some Devs have requested in the first post that no mirrors be posted for their roms, there is not a lot we can do about that besides asking them for a policy change.
Hope this helps
