When i connect phone to PC it asks for "qualcomm CDMA Technologies driver"I installed the driver but thats it nothing happens after that. Even Microsoft Active Sync doesnt detect my phone. Please help someone? I also tried flashing a rom on it but get error [260] connection. Also when i do hard reset phone becomes dead and is revived after several attempts.

Hi
I just tried installing WM6 on my Vario and half way through the upgrade a blue screen appeared on my pc, with the machine rebooting. It now does not detect the Mobile phone, with only the splash screen of HTC appearing on the phone
What do I do? Please I need your help
Thanks
it happened to me as well. So what I did was I use my laptop. So if you have 2 computers, then you should swtich to the different one. or else, you can just hard reset the phone and then try to attach the usb again and see if it fix the problem
When I do hard reset nothing happens accept for the htc logo appearing. The computer doesn't recognise the usb on the device
There must be a way to upload a ROM to the pda to get it up and running
Any ideas?
I have a Dopod 818pro that was flashed with the wrong ROM and now all I get to is the DOPOD splash screen. I can get to the TRI color screen by pushing the camera and power button.
I have tried hard reset but seems the OS is missing from the phone.
I have the original ROM for my phone on my PC but can not use active sync as the phone does not go further than the SPLASH screen.
How can I reload my original ROM using the SD card.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

use the tricolor screen even though active sync doesnt see it it still flashes but u need to use the flash upgrade wizard and not the cli interface one
Worked for me but i cant sae it will work 100%
Where do I find the flash upgrade wizard?
When I plug usb in, i get usb on the white band in the color screen
Tried to run the update using RUU and get ERROR 260
Thanks for your help in this
Yeah RUU same thing i was meaning that one cause theres another that uses cli but its a bit dodgy
RUU Wizard should work it never detected ma G4 but it flashed it anyway i was well chuffed cause i thought i had bricked it
I just tryed the app without the phone connected and it gave me error 260 so maybe try different cable or pc cause i had a issue with xp not detecting my phone and i had to reinstall xp just to get active sync to work properly
The main problem is that I had a bad flash, now I can not get pass bootloader screen, PC does not see device, active sync says not connected. there must be a method for loading the NK.ntf file from sd
Not came across anything like that as the SD card driver would be loaded at boot with the OS and in your case theres no OS booting it would be hard to sae it can be done but i bet someone will prove me wrong lol
Good Luck mate ill keep an eye out for anything like that though
Thanks for the help....phone is useless at the moment......
ok, i got a att 8525 with herm100 ipl-1.03 & spl-1.11, currently its not booting up because of a failed attempt at installing crc r13.3, i can get it to the tri-color screen, but i can't get it to connect to activesync, it is getting recognized by the other ruu rom flashers but after it goes to 1%, the phone reboots, and i can't get past that even with tryin to flash a factory rom.
there anyway to unbrick my phone?! i've tried a couple of the ways i've found from searching but none seem to work, my pc is running vista but i also have xp on vmware if needed.
well i finally got the factory rom flashed, and now its working again!, i don't know how it happened, it just......happened.

Good morning.
im a newbie at updating the HTC HD 2 Leo i have for T-Mobile (which is probably WHY i shouldnt have messed with it in the 1st place...).
i tried downloading the android gingerbread rom onto my phone last night and while downloading the software their was a partition error and my phone was stuck afterwards rebooting on the failed software dowload (would get stuck on a black screen only showing the HTC letters in green.)
i FURTHER screwed it up by trying to put it in bootloader mode and trying to install the Original software i found which i downloaded off a website for the factory version of my HTC HD 2 Leo.
NOW it only shows a black screen.. the computer cant sync my phone, the battery light is not showing and no signs of life...it wont even let me go into bootboader mode...all it says when i plug it in to my USB port on the computer is under hardware found " Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM"...
someone PLEASE help this lost noob... much appreciated
wow! erm.... have you tried a hard reset? recovery software might still be on there, with any hope.....
i tried , but the hd2 doesnt show ANYTHING on the screen, i tried holding both buttons and pushing the power on button but the factory screen wont pop up because the screen stays permenantly black
Sounds as though you flashed a T-MObile USA with a ROM with a .51 RADIO; if that is the case then the phone is bricked.
You could always telephone HTC and say you charged your phone overnight and it didn't respond the next day - with no mention of flashing the phone.
As you have found out flashing before reading can be fatal (for the phone) and expensive. I have flashed quite a few HTC WinMo phones, but for every different phone I read then reread the instructions.
thanx i appreciate it , it sux that i cant get it fixed.
