Device not going on :(

Hi i got a HD2 but it wont start
I tryed difrent accu from a college and his device just start and mine not
Any help ?

EDIT: I got the device starting up in the color bars(bootloader) But i cant flash it

Hi my previous post that the device wont turn on i closed that one.
I am at the tree color screen but when i want to flash a radio or os then it hangs at 0% also i cant hardspl the device.
I cant use the device at this moment

must be purely coincidental, and something completely different, but my HD won't start up since this mornming either...
Question: Do you get an orange led while charging? If so, my connector is probably broken...

Any chance you could tell us what ROM you had previously and what you were trying to do. What are the details you see in BootLoader Mode?

I dont know, I got the device from some one else hspl i cant install it or the application is crashing,
I applyd the offical rom from htc but it hangs at 9% and ad 7/99%
I realy get frustrated by this

So the chances are that the phone is without a ROM.
Now can you try and get into BootLoader Mode (with phone off, press and hold the Volume Down button then tap the Power button). Then tell us what it says.

I got in the bootloader:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.0000
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(Touch) 0x50
Upgrade Rom code error
Please try again
in the tob right corner: RUUNBH

ruunbh means it is in flash mode, 1.42.0000 means it is stock spl,
so
get hspl2,
put phone into bootloader,
connect phone to usb,
when 'serial' becomes 'usb' run hspl2,
when it reboots after 'we hacked it', hold vol down so tat you return to bootloader,
spl should now say 1.42.hspl
(or x.xx.hspl depends if you changed it in hspl2 dropdown, doesnt matter if you did or not, so long as it ends .hspl)
run your rom flash over usb. either stock rom.exe or customruu with cooked rom.

i did that and the hspl2 application hangs (i will post the error code in this )

i guess your last chance is installing the rom via sd card.
do you know if it was branded?
you can check that by trying to download a rom with the S/N of your phone at htc.com.
the rom you can download, is the right one.
download it, unpack it, copy the .nbh on the sd card, rename it to leoimg.nbh and get your phone into bootloader.

First i get loading for like 5 minutes then it gos to the bootloader directly

could be the card, that happens on 8gb cards too, loading.... wait wait wait - bootloader.
2gb fat32 4096 (4k) block size for best results.

ok i am a little bit further
i download the hp format tool (i use them to create my own os disks etc)
I formatted the sd card with 4k fat32 and now it is updating so thubs crossd.

Hi update did complete,
It now hangs on the HTC Logo on boot :S (i think it is not my lucky day )
or is it taking first time very very long ?

No, probably a bad flash or incompatible SD card. Format your card with "SD card Formatter" by Panasonic then...
a) Reboot and when you see the 1234 on screen hold own Vol UP&DOWN together until it goes past DFT into white screen with instructions, then follow them to reset phone.
b) If that doesnt work try to re-flash via magldr/usb.
If the above fails try a different card.

If the phone starts to loop at the dft screen press and hold volume down and it should stop looping. Any other button may also work. But maybe should do a reflash...

same here, having trouble and constant reboot, I tried to reflash (hold off button, select USB flasher), same thing, but after few attempt of self reboot, I manage to get in, after restart the phone, I get DFT screen constantly self reboot again, but after a few attempt it boot in.
Before that I had freezing problem with stock rom, I was told to use WP7 or android to fix the freezing problem. I seems like I doesn't fix anything at all....

yes i do i am using 2.08 hspl .and i also tried all radios...

Remove your sd and sim card or re-download magldr and leo70 rom, make a task29 and reflash magldr and wp7.
Otherwise idk what it could be.

Just got an HD2 that I am trying to load with wp7. The phone is going to elsalvador with my mom to use down their while on vacation and will stay there but I get stuck on the DFT screen bootlooping as well. When I hold volume down while it does this I get a bootloader similar to the three color that says
leo100 SS-B3
nspl0.96.2250.0 and the LED and TOuch
It also says SD none
partition info v211v413.
Can anyone help me. I have reflashed all using hspl 2.08 and Radio Leo 2.15.50.14?

after i try to flash my phone to android ROM via SD card, i think i've brick my HD2
i think i can go to the bootloader( the screen with blue,red,n green colour)
n i can connect to USB (as i see at the bootloader screen with the USB word at the bottom when i connect to my laptop)
after i switch on my phone, it appear this words

1) how did you try to flash an Android ROM via sd card? Do you have magldr flashed?
2) Do you have HSPL flashed on the device?
Flashing an Android ROM from SD isn't possible from anything but magldr or CWM, so which one did you use?

1. via SD Card, i click on CLRCAD inside the Android folder

Android does not work well with that SPL version.
Download HSPL4
tell it to flash SPL 2.08
Try launching clcrd and haret again.

i dont have HSPL 4.
only get to update it to HSPL3.03

after update to HSPL3
my phone still hang at the HTC logo page,
after a while, it still show
"the device is unable to boot because either you have turned off........."
(same as the above pic)

i use SSPL to flash it to other ROM, hope it works
50% now

oh,, FINALLLY, i manage to flash back to my original ROM

This is HSPL 4, it allows you to flash to different HSPL/SPL versions:
For flashing Android/WP7 or running Android I'd suggest using that to flash to HSPL 2.08

What Orangekid means it is the fourth released HSPL which is called HSPL 4. You just have to coose which HSPL or SPL version you want to use. If you if you are wanting to put SPL back onto your HD2 then just make sure you flash a version with .0000 at the end.

"E1FATAL HIT 1" Problem.

I need help with this problem. I read the post and have them run what they say, but I still have the problem. When I give the option in MAGLDR "Ad Recovery", I get the following screen "1EFATAL HIT 1". I flashed with several options, I've done task 29, even I did hard reset and I returned the handset to factory defaults. But still the problem. I need help.

Is this your first time trying MAGLDR and android on the HD2? If so do you have HSLP and the correct radio flashed? If you dont know then find a TUT that explains how to go from winmo to andoid tep by step.

I have no problems installing Android rom for over a year. Lately install "ICS NexusHD2 CM9 (5.Feb.2012)." In a system reset occurred to me this problem. I've done hard factory reset, I installed HSPL 2, 3, 4, original SPL, etc. I changed several radios. I installed the original rom from sd, etc. MAGLDR I have reinstalled several times, just as with Recovery. No but I think it's internal memory, or not work properly. Do not know if changing the polarity on the battery, as when reversing the polarity on the stack for a PC. The truth is that I think has no solution.

Im right there with you my hd2 did this same thing and I have no answers either..

Try this.
Download stock windows mobile rom
Extract LEOIMG.nbh from downloaded wm rom
format sd card
put nbh file onto root of sd card
shut down phone
power on phone and hold vol down + end key to enter bootloader
install stock windows mobile rom which uninstalls hspl and everything else
boot windows mobile
once booted turn off
install hspl again (2.08)
install magldr or clk
install cwm
reboot
install rom
reboot
I think that will fix your problems.

I have officially given up.. I think this hd2 is a lost cause I have tried everything and well its strange. I have a stock rom on it and its still the same. it boots bt freezes up after boot no response and only way to shut it off is to pull the battery. so i officially give up..

try sticking the phone in the freezer for couple min and flash it. if it works then u have hardware problem. happened to me when i received my cousins hd2, when i tried to flash it with android i got that e1fatal error. try it, it wont hurt.

Try this to reinstall Magldr & clk.
Step 1 download HD2 Kit 4.2.0.1
once installed open it
put your HD2 into download mode ( color screen)
plug your usb into both HD2 & computer
make sure usb is displayed in HD2 Toolkit
check the box make sure to check the box express tool (beta) is checked
then click wipe (task29)
Once completed go back into download mode
then install Magldr once completed
with magldr open click on usb flash
on your device it should display usb, usb, usb then go to
hd2 toolkit go to choose system partition'select your preference i selected 400
cache i changed to 5
then click on repartition
your done
Make sure to follow all screen prompts accordingly.
Don't forget to say thanks.

HD2 TOOLKIT 4.2.0.1 youtube video
you will need to change your HSPL 4 and you can use HD2 Toolkit to make that change as well. just click on install HSPL before install Magldr

but after installing MAGLDR and the phone reboot and nothing!!
the phone does not show the menu of MAGLDR
so i cannot select ( 5. USB Flasher )
how i can make my HTC HD2 show the boot menu of MAGLDR ???

to downgrade your hspl4, click on install hspl in hd2 toolkit.
