Why can't I see "AT&T billing" option on the Market? Only credit cards...
Stock Streak with 1.6 from BestBuy.
Thanks in advance!
I was wondering the same thing.

When I purchase an app in the market that is in US currency and I click buy in the google checkout screen there is a drop down menu with my credit card and an option to bill t-mobile. If I try to purchase something billed in euros or pounds this option is greyed out. I know you specifically asked about att but it should be in the same place.

So, T-Mobile option exists...
AT&T announced direct billing on December, 22 as "available now", but I still can't see it! Maybe it does not work with 1.6? Strange...
Anybody here can see it?
Or it's just me and a few "lucky" souls?
Please reply if you are in USA on AT&T network, and you can use AT&T direct carrier billing, and what version of Android you are running?
Thank you!
On att and no option.

AT&T with Moto Flipside, Android 2.1, Market version 2002207 - no carrier option.
I am on AT&T, Android 2.2 and do not have that option in the market.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I am able to buy a Dell Streak, eBay aside? I want to buy the AT&T version for use with the 850MHz Telstra Next G Network.
I know they can be purchased directly through Dell but I'm from Australia and they won't post to me because the Optus network has an exclusivity deal here.
Thanks,
Krisbo

That's all well and good, but they don't ship to Australia...
I would say either eBay or use a courier forwarding service. One thing you may already be aware of is ATT has been very lenient in unlocking their off contract phones, just say you live in Canada and they will unlock it in five minutes from what I have heard.

Yes the no contract plans known now as flex pay are on their way out. I recently did an online survey on this. Looks like the same plans will be offered as those on contract with an added feature of being able to set overage limits. If you don't want to pay for extra monthly minutes you can set it up to shut off your service when you reach your max. If you want to be able to go a little over you'll be. Able to set a dollar amount. Of course the only info I have comes from a consumer survey.

I think he is talking about EM+ plans, not flex pay.

EM+ is the only reason I'm on t-mobile. If they get rid of it, I'm gone.
Really sad. Between this and three tethering thing tmo is looking much less attractive.

I saw a quick reference to this so I stopped by my local t-mobile store. Turns out all you need to do is get it added to your plan. From what I was told it isn't free unless you get it added. Also it doesn't change your contract (ie extending it).

Well call tmo cuz I have the wifi calling and its free just call 611 had them add it.
Yup, this started kind of quietly around May 13. You can do it through T-Mobile Chat online easily as long as your plan qualifies.
In order for it to work though, you MUST be on one of the newer Even More plans.

That I am not sure. My guess is yes but you'd have to ask someone at T-Mobile to be sure. Just chat with them online and ask for it, then see what they say.
Search for it in our forum here I made a topic with the do's and don'ts and other peoples experiences so you have the best chance of the rep playing stupid with you.

The Taiwanese manufacturer has just let us know that the HTC One is available in the US today online and in retail stores nationwide at AT&T, Sprint, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, Costco, Car Toys, Sam’s Club, HSN.com, and HTC.com.

Also up for preorder at T-mobile !!
I wonder if the htcdev unlock for ATT will work today of if they've now locked that down?
For T-mobile, is there a way to checkout just the phone full price, not the plan??

Looks like there isn't and also existing customers are not able to preorder. Basically new customers with plan attached to the checkout.

You mean for a non T-Mobile customer? No. You can pay full price if you are upgrading your existing T-mobile phone.

Ordered 2 HTC Ones from T-Mobile yesterday evening, already shipped and will be here on Monday. Can't wait!
Leaving Sprint of 8 years, and ditching 2 GSII Epic 4G Touch.
Yeah I purchased mine out right yesterday at AT&T. I also have an iPhone 5 and Nexus 4 and in my opinion the One blows away both of those phones. I think the HTC One is the best phone I have used yet. Also att lte flies.

So I got the S4 today at the Sprint store so I had to pay 100$ deposit and and I got 100$ off for using my Prepaid T-Mobile Account and he switched my number over but I didn't want him to do that I told him but he did it so now my T-Mobile account is deactivated and it was activated until June1 and I had 27$ on my account but now it's deactivated but I still need that account and now my number got switched to Sprint so how can I recover my T-Mobile Account and balance and all? Please help if you knew what to do

Call T-Mobile customer service?
(I'm not being a wise-ass. It just seems the logical thing to do in this situation. *shrug*)
porting a number usually requires a fair bit of info about the account. why did you tell him your tmobile password/pin when you were saying you didn't want it ported? either way tmobile prepaid bases teh account off your number, since your number isnt there anymore neither is your account. and you remove that number and you are gunna face issues with sprint (the 100 dollar discount being one of them).
my suggestion, eat the 27 bucks loss and consider it a life experience

Yes. Also you can't get the credit without porting over a active number so you actually saved money since you got a $100 credit.

Funny you switched to Sprint from T-mobile when T-mobile has no contract and you now can have unlimited data, Sprint has only 3G and it is very slow.
Update; I have Sprint and my contract is up next month, I was thinking want to go to T-mobile.

Funny you are wrong. Sprint has 4g, as well. I have excellent 4g. When my 4g is unavailable, my 3g is not 'slow.' Almost everything depends on the location. Location, location, location. I wouldn't base your speed & area's "3g/4g" without knowing where they are & their speeds. Sprint's upgrading their towers & they are popping up here & there. There's a whole thread going on about it. Look for it & do some research. Contract or no contract, they switched for personal reasons.
Sent from my Sprint Unlimited plan with 4g
Anyway, I'm not sure why you gave them your TMO pin & info if you didn't want it the phone number ported. Sounds like the rep got the "Spint Customer Service script" wrong or you misunderstood him. Definitely call customer service, asap. I had to jump through hoops to get my S4 situated for other reasons. Call them & call them & call them until you get your answer(s) & it's solved.
T-mobile told me that I'll have to call Sprint and tell them I didn't want that number transferred and that I need a new number then when they change it I can get my tmobile account back. Will this really work?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Nope. Once ported and if accepted all your remaining money will be lost.
Actually you have already lost
So forget further action in this regard.

Yeah T Mobile doesn't have a contract but to offset it you pay full price for your phones now. Ex. The S4 is $149.99 down and $20 a month for 24 months which equals $630( regular price for device). So in essence there's no "plan contract" but there is a "phone contract" which costs just about as much as an early termination fee thus keeping you locked in for 2 years. The good thing is you can upgrade whenever a new device comes out but the bad thing is you have to pay off the balance on the current device and then you can start the payment plan all over again. That's basically paying your early termination fee on any other carrier to fulfill your current contract so you can a start a new one. No thanks T Mobile. I'll pass.
So I should definitely be able to get my TMobile Account and everything back for sure?
