ok so i had kumars v 1.4.. and than updated to his v 1.5.. to update, i synced the phone with active sync and ran the RUU file.. now im stuck on the tmobile stick together screen.. i dont want to touch the phone until you can give me some advice

Firstly, better to ask this in the kumar thread.
Secondly, try flashing it again, could be a bad flash.
Thirdly, your radio doesn't quite match the ones listed by kumar. (Although it is very close, so unlikely to be that.)
Oh, and you did do a hard reset after flashing, right?
yes hard reset was performed to no avail.. but just to clarify as long as i flashed HARDSPL the first time that will protect my phone from being bricked correct|?? because if thats so i will try to flash the rom again.. im not able to flash again because active sync is not recognizing the phone

Take the battery out >> put it back in >> Hold down the volume down button >> press the Power button. This should take you to the bootloader screen and from there you should be able to reflash.

Flash the stock ROM again from the bootloader as the above poster has stated. If not flash the ROM from the MicroSD card.

The stock rom isn't out yet.
2.10.0 is out, but the hd2's came shipped with 2.10.1
Working on it.

If I was the Op, I'd task 29 and reflash. It should works fine. I've never brick and htc phone and I dont think the HD2 is that easily brick if you use common sense.

the tmous is realy easy to brick. just flash any radio with a ..51.. version.......... brick.
alright..so what ended up happening is from boofloader i tried to reflash 1.5 to no avail..
so rather than trying to figure out how to flash back to stock rom, i figured i would try kumars 1.4 which i had installed previously. And sure enough everything worked again .. sorry it took so long to update. last night it wa s too late for me to post and ive been working the whole day..

I had exactly the same problem when flashing v.1.6. Then I flashed back v.1.5 and it works OK.
Hi I have the same problem, though I didnt flash a custom rom.
I'm stuck at the stick together screen, after flashing a stock rom to my tmobile hd2.
I tried to reflash but it gets stucked at 0%, and it wont move.

I did it, it is still stuck at 0%
did you flash from sd card? what does your spl say in bootloader? could be that you have flashed away hspl, and the stock you are trying is not quite a match. (There are several 'stock' versions i believe)
try re aply hspl, flash the rom from usb, then use the hspl app again to remove the hspl, and hey presto, , back to stock.
I dont have the red inscriptions when it shows the sticck together logo.
I didnt flash from the SD card(...) basically this is a stock phone with a stock rom I guess.
so I tried HSPL2_1024_RUN
it told me that my version was 2.08.0000 and it gave me 2 choices, going to 2.08.HSPL
I tried both, but it gives me an error.

ps: Im constantly on the forum, so just reply and I will reply within 5 mins
go into bootloader manually, plug into a usb port around back of pc, use one you dont usually use, wait for it to connect, and run hspl1024, remembering to right click & run as administrator. Choose 2.08.hspl, and cross your fingers. Ill cross mine for you too.
if hspl wont load, all i can suggest is different usb ports, maybe remove the drivers, and letting it downoad new ones from the net, especially if you've ever used mtty.

I think HSPL *may* have been an older version- 1.42 only noticed that as I was flashing. Didnt realise the newer version was essential. Is it?
Put your phone in bootloader mode(pull battery, insert battery, volume down+power on) and flash the LATEST stock ROM.
This should keep HardSPL but remove MAGLDR.
After flashing the stock ROM, update to latest HardSPL.
Reinstall MAGLDR V1.11 from thread.
Try to install Android again.

try this completely turn the phone off..not press the end and volume down key together till u see the 4 color bars...then flash it with the original windows 6.5 rom. good luck

Ahh thats great! was my fault for pressing the power button before the vol down key I had tried a number of times, but all working now! Thanks guys!
had this too but hspl3 flashing was enough. no need to uninstall magldr.
and remember if you get it on it's not bricked
I wish people would stop using the phrase "bricked" so loosely.
Your phone isn't and wasn't "bricked".
Still if that would have not fixed ,A task 29 usually fixed bad flashes, try that .
I rarely see a HD2 bricked,Lets not use the phrase so loosely.

No need to remove MAGLDR or flash a stock ROM.
All he needs to do is flash HSPL2.08 and MAGLDR will then continue to boot - I found this out myself.

take the battery out, wait 5 mintes then put the battery back in and try starting the phone

What phone do you have? TMOUS? What ROM did you flash (Full file name)?
Try this:
Turn off the phone, Hold Volume -, Press & Release power button. If you get the tri-colour screen, it's all good, find a compatible ROM and re-flash from there.
Another reason to read as much as you can about radio, roms and how to flash. Before to start flashing.

mattog yes i have tmous, and thanks for the answer but it wont turn on at all, i have followed every step and nothing.
but i followed a video and it said i needed HSPL3 ~ SPL-2.08.HSPL but then it said in order to have that i needed to downgrade if i had 3.14 rom (which i did) to 1.66. i got the one it gave me there on the video.
also if this helps, when i did this my battery was exactly 50% and charging, and now the back on the phone doesnt get hot when its pluged in, so maybe i killed the battery?

All workss fine until I have to enter the MGLDR menu with a long push on the power button... I dont enter any menu!! I have tried a lot of times without luck.
I have the latest Radio version 2.15.50.14
and the HSPL version 3.03 HSPL
What have I done wrong since I cant enter the menu?
If I remember right, you need to have hspl 2.08 on your phone for MGLDR to work. Try finding MGLDR thread and see if I'm right. Or just change your hspl to 2.08 and see if you can get the menu, remember, hold the power button til the menu shows then let go. It won't show just by holding the button for longer then normal power on push.

hi guys, having a similar problem with my phone atm. I have 2.08 hspl and the right radio, i just cant enter magldr menu at all? holding down the power does nothing, it just boots the phone with no menu at all.

to the o2 blue initial screen, thats it :s
right, and at the end of that screen should flash up magldr, which indicates it either didnt take, or there is a mismatch with spl/radio.
id start over, into bootloader, check and double check it says 2.08.hspl and nothing else, flash a known good radio again, then flash magldr again.
If it hasnt taken again, or you get any kind of error when flashign teh radio, its just possible theres a stuck radio issue, which prevents anything else from flashing. there are threads where flashing looks to work but nothing actually changes.
to test for that, try changing the spl with hspl4, doesnt matter what you change it to, just change it, reboot, into bootloader, make sure it changed.
Failing that, its stock winmo from sd card time, and start truly over.
could you possibly link me to the right stock rom? im on 02 hd2 in england, ill flash it via sd card with the nbh file. im having so much trouble getting hold of it, im litteraly tearing my hair out, becuase i think ill have to start over after all, last resort. thanks so much if you can

if you're sure you have the right radio and HSPL 2.08, and you're having issues, just perform a task 29, it will format the internal rom partition of the device, then reflash MGLDR 1.13 it will respond then, flash CWM, and desired rom.
Task 29 will help you prevent having to go back to stock.

if you really did excatly what you write here, and flashed a WP7 ROM, which I suspect since you post in the WP7 sub forum (but why in dev and not in Q&A section?), it's no surprise that your HD2 is bricked. It's written about 100 times here in XDA how to flash a WP7 ROM: 0.) check if you have the correct radio 1.) download HSPL4, flash 2.08HSPL. 2.) Flash MAGLDR 1.13. 3.) go to USB flasher in MAGLDR and flash your WP7 ROM. You could have found the instructions for example here, here, there and in the Q&A forum.
If flashing the stock ROM via sd card fails, you will probably need JTAG.

did you use HSPL v3 and flash HSPL 2.08
or you flash HSPL 3.03?
if you flash HSPL 3.0 that is error.... for Android and WP7 you must flash HSPL 2.08... no matter if you use HSPL v3 or v4 you must flash HSPL 2.08... if you do this mistake, simply flash HSPL 2.08
also many problems can do fix with HD2 NAND Toolkit

Hey there,
I once had this also......thought i bricked it to. But after some research i found out that 1 of the 3 pins from the battery was bend.......so i bend it back and whooooof i had power again.
Just a thought ....!

If i read the steps you made correctly... It looks that bootloader should be OK.
If you hold the volDown and powerButton. You see the tricolor screen? The bootloader?
If YES that it should be fine. You can connect the phone with USB cable and Flash diferent rom. It looks that only the rom flash went wrong.

yeah i did the same thing and bricked my phone I think you flashed the wrong rom thats for uk you! need usa!
if it realy is bricked i can direct you to the guy who fixd mine he only charged me 40$ i was pritty happy with his service!

According to the descriptions you gave, you have installed bootloader correctly. It seems somehow you battery has completely drawn out.
After MAGLDR installed, battery won't charge when the phone is off. Check with another battery with some power or use external charger to charge your battery.
Arrange another Battery
It seems you battery is completely discharged, I got similar situation once, I arranged another battery from my friend and after re flashing WM6.5 it was fine. although Right now I am on WM6.5 + MccMBoxmaX GS V 11 [Sense 2.1+3.0] 3D Super smooth.
Don't Worry just arrange another battery and you should get it working again.

a guy who do phone repairs told me that i flashed a euro rom onto a tmobile device..
& doin so brivked my device completely..
he said is definitly a jtag service if there is no power on the phone..
well i have to wait till next 2 week untill repair shops are open
