HTC sync: Blue screen and reboot of Windows XP SP3 - Desire HD General

Hello,
I have problem with my new HTC desire HD. I installed the last update of HTC sync downloaded from HTC website (3.0.54.81). Everything was OK, I connected my Desire HD on it to synchronize my Outlook Contacts and Calendar (Outlook 2003 SP3). Then unexpectly the PC prints a blue screen and reboot.
I removed HTC sync (and drivers) and install the version from the SD provided with Desire HD (3.0.54.39). It works also fine but I have blue sreens after random time.
Do you have an idea?

Microsoft says:
Device driver problem, error during stopping

Have you contacted HTC to see if they have a solution?

The following things have been done:
Reinstal XTND Conncect => no help

Anyone run HTC Sync to sync MyTouch w/Outlook?

I know T-Mo does not include HTC Sync with the MT3. I wonder if anyone is running HTC Sync to sync Outlook Calendar and Contacts directly with MT3. Does HTC Sync work with the MT3 and allow direct syncing? I want to get a MT3 for my wife. She has everything in Outlook and direct sync'g would be so much easier than going through Google. Thanks for the help.
androidusb
I got HT Sync running with a myTouch 3G Slide.
I added the following line:
%MyHTC%=HTCAND64.Dev, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0E03&MI_01
in the androidusb.inf located in <ProgramFiles x86>\HTC\HTC Driver\Driver Files\Win7_x64
And reinstalled the driver for the unknown device in the device manager. I got a message that it was not signed, but it is now detetcted by HTC Sync (2.0.33)
HTC Sync 2.0.35 & MTSlide...no joy...repeat..no joy
Installing 2.0.35 in Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP2 goes just fine. However, when the phone is connected via USB the device manager, while recognizing there is a MT Slide connected, puts up a Yellow Yield icon next it's name in the Android Devices category.
Anyone else run into this issue, or seen this behavior ? If so, I'd be interested to know, what if any headway has been made in getting it to recognize the device copmletely.

Syncing on two computers

Hello everybody,
I've just left my old Touch Cruise and bought an HD2. Great phone, but I can't sync it within 2 computers (Windows XP + Windows 7 64-bit). On Windows 7, the Mobile device center completely freezes after 10 seconds.
I didn't understand why, but I saw in the HTC FAQ that the HD2 can sync with only ONE computer (I have to choose which one). With my Touch Cruise, I was syncing on 2 computers (using Chapura Pocket Mirror Professional).
Is it really impossible to do that with the HD2 (without using my corporate Exchange Server over the Internet)?
Thanks for your help.
mine sinc's on my desk top and my lap top both windows 7 with no problems but if you format a pc it scrue's it all up as two seem's to be the max alowed this has worked for me all all roms i have tryed, 1.43 o2,1.61wwe .1.66 wwe and now touch-x extream
I'm using the french Artemis 11.0 ROM. But I still cannot sync with 2 different PC. In Windows Mobile device center, when I go for example to the contacts sync parameters, I can see 2 checkboxes (one for each PC), but only one checkbox is clickable. If I uncheck the checked one, the device center says it has to delete all the contacts on my phone before synchronizing with the other PC!
Syncing contacts, agenda and notes with pc(Vista) and laptop(W7) here.
Works great.
OK, so no mixing between ActiveSync 32-bit and WDMC 64-bit for you... You only use WDMC 32-bit.

[Q] Unable To sync

My Wildfire android 2.1 is unable to sync with my pc....Everytime I open "HTC Sync" on my pc and connect my phone it asks me what type of connection and i press htc sync, then it tells me that it cannot find the HTC sync on my computer...I tried in on several PC's and i have the same problem please help
There is a problem with HTC Sync on PC. When you install program, it's running for a quick time, approximately few days and then just crashes when is launched. I don't now why buy reinstalling Windows is the only thing that worked for me.

[Q] ActiveSync Hangs on HTC HD Mini - phone lags

Hello. I've a Problem with my newly bought HTC (Photon) HD Mini . I've updated the firmware to the latest unbranded german version 1.36.
I've configured ActiveSync with an Exchange 2010 server and enabled Exchange SMS sync. This works for about 5 hours, then the phone began lagging and activesync uses about 91-97% percent of cpu. It doesn't sync anymore and you can't open or kill the AS-process :-/ I've to soft-reset my phone.
I've tried to install the sms-stability patch from the htc download page, but it does not help.
I've also tried to disable manila with this tweak: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556614
Does anyone has an idea what I can do to get active-sync stable? Are there any known issues? I'm really worried because activesync and sms sync worked nearly perfect with my previous HTC Touch Diamond.
Thanks in advance!
