[Q] just flashed onyx R4.2, unlock sounds not working - Vibrant General

I just flashed Onyx 4.2 onto my vibrant and I notice that the lock/unlock sounds don't work properly.
In particular, the phone does play the lock noise when I lock the screen, but I don't hear an unlock noise after unlocking the phone.
Also, the default unlock functionality is to sweep the screen in any direction, is there a way to change this to slide to unlock?

bump,
does this have more to do with the ROM and less to do with my hardware?

Tx for your answer Shark.
Yes i tried it yesterday. The main problem i have is about lock. I have not found any program that locks the sreen and keys when the light sensor detects no light.
i'm using pocket shield which is a great locking software with many configuration including using light sensor to unlock u should give it a try

cheers
Tx Shonan.
I tried it, its good !
In fact my real problem is to lock the phone when i use my gps. Unlocking is not a real problem but locking is never depending on the light sensor.
Anyone ? thanks ...
I use S2U2 - before I put my diamond in the my jacket I press the power button and it sleeps the device. When somebody calls - S2U2 manages the call with slide2answer/ignore call - no chance to answer the call when pulling out the device out of my pocket. Where's the big deal with all this locking..I never had problems with it. (Sorry if I sound offensive, I am not offensive)

The light sensor is too unreliable for using it for locking purposes, so therefore it is only used in TouchLockPro for unlocking. Actually, the light sensor is not so sensitive, so if there seems to be plenty of light, the light sensor does not sense light.
TouchLockPro just locks by default, when you just press the power off button. Actually, for GPS usage, you can keep the device locked, without ever unlocking. Even it can go to suspend when the backlight goes off.

Brother, I had tried s2u2 for my diamond and it seem to be unstable if you are a frequent caller and lot of incoming call waiting on the other line during your cal season. You will feel the lagging and slow in the display to return to the normal displayed screen. There for I decide to uninstall it as what I need is a lock screen program that only lock the screen and that's what I need. Any one can help?
sensorlock 0.3.4 works great for me, just spin the phone in your hand and it's locked. I use it for GPS/music when running where I want the apps running but don't want to press the screen or buttons accidentally. It's on this forum.
I need this too, a lock based on the light sensor. Sensorlock doesnt work very well as it locks and unlocks on random movements (eg, when walking with it in your pocket), and not just gestures.

APP Wanted - Stylus Lock

Im after a app that will lock my htc diamond touch when i got my stylus plugged in and unlock it when i got it out ive managed to find one but it only works with roms with clocks above the battery my rom has not got this instead it has the battery life % so i would a appreciate if someone could make one of these apps private message me if anyone knows of one that already exists
use s2u2 it has that feature
i just downloaded it and it said something about double locking if i dont turn it off think it was soft lock or summit how do i turn this off
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
sorted finally figured out how to turn off my rom locking system fully and now with s2u2 it locks when stylus is in and unlocks when i take it out
pocketshield does this and many more
see Touch Lock Pro
it has many features: G sensor lock, Light Sensor lock, Stylus lock, Keyboard lock (for other models), HW touch lock, proximity lock etc.
you can enable/desable features according to your personal choicse
edit: s2u2 uses a lot of memory, but it uses about 34kb

[Q] Using Widgetlock with stock sliders

Hello!
I've tried to research as much as possible regarding this issue. Either I'm the only one interested in it or the option is right in front of my eyes and I am blind.
Anyways, I have a fantastic widgetlocker set up. My only problem is that I want to keep using the stock sliders (Ripple, Light effect, etc.) as a means to unlocking my phone. Why? I love that I can unlock the phone on any part of the screen and that the light follows my finger without me touching the phone. Call me crazy, but it's the little things.
Does any one know if this is possible? Thanks!

Pocket detection

Does anyone know of a way to disable pocket detection on stock ROM? I like to used my phone is landscape mode and I'll sometimes have my thumb partially blocking the proximity sensor on the top left, so whenever I unlock the phone, it will think it's an accidental unlock in the pocket and automatically lock the screen again immediately. It's extremely frustrating and it'd be great if I can disable it.

Trusted devices and places on lollipop - what is the point? !

Okay, so I'm running lollipop on my galaxy S5 and after connecting my bluetooth headphones it asked me if I wanted to add them as trusted?
So, as I trust them, I said yes.
After that, whenever I locked my phone using the fingerprint lock I would instead get a swipe lock screen instead. Swiping it would then take me to my normal fingerprint lock screen.
So, instead of one lockscreen I would have to unlock two!
What the hell is the point of that?
Am I missing something?
