Hello
I tried many locking applications on my diamond. But i didn't find the one i need.
I'm looking for a program that locks screen and keys when the phone is inserted in its cover, and unlock when put out.
Example : my GPS is on, i put my phone in its cover using the earphones (i am on my motorbike), its in my pocket. I need to lock the screen and keys.
Thanks for your help.

Tx for your answer Shark.
Yes i tried it yesterday. The main problem i have is about lock. I have not found any program that locks the sreen and keys when the light sensor detects no light.
i'm using pocket shield which is a great locking software with many configuration including using light sensor to unlock u should give it a try

cheers
Tx Shonan.
I tried it, its good !
In fact my real problem is to lock the phone when i use my gps. Unlocking is not a real problem but locking is never depending on the light sensor.
Anyone ? thanks ...
I use S2U2 - before I put my diamond in the my jacket I press the power button and it sleeps the device. When somebody calls - S2U2 manages the call with slide2answer/ignore call - no chance to answer the call when pulling out the device out of my pocket. Where's the big deal with all this locking..I never had problems with it. (Sorry if I sound offensive, I am not offensive)

The light sensor is too unreliable for using it for locking purposes, so therefore it is only used in TouchLockPro for unlocking. Actually, the light sensor is not so sensitive, so if there seems to be plenty of light, the light sensor does not sense light.
TouchLockPro just locks by default, when you just press the power off button. Actually, for GPS usage, you can keep the device locked, without ever unlocking. Even it can go to suspend when the backlight goes off.

Brother, I had tried s2u2 for my diamond and it seem to be unstable if you are a frequent caller and lot of incoming call waiting on the other line during your cal season. You will feel the lagging and slow in the display to return to the normal displayed screen. There for I decide to uninstall it as what I need is a lock screen program that only lock the screen and that's what I need. Any one can help?
sensorlock 0.3.4 works great for me, just spin the phone in your hand and it's locked. I use it for GPS/music when running where I want the apps running but don't want to press the screen or buttons accidentally. It's on this forum.
I need this too, a lock based on the light sensor. Sensorlock doesnt work very well as it locks and unlocks on random movements (eg, when walking with it in your pocket), and not just gestures.
hi all is there a way to lock the diamond by putting the stylus back in ive shearched but only found styluslock 1.6-2.2.2 these are good but a bit to much for me i dont want the battery icon thingy just a simple lock when i put the stylus back in thanks
HI,
I'm very sorry for that lame question but could anyone explain to me how to get to blackstone build in keylock/screenlock settings ? please..
I looked in user manual and I've done my research but looks like I can't find anything.
regards,
looks like no one is sure about it or there is no such a options.,
For those who use s2u2 and are annoyed about double screen lock when you take the pen out of the hd and system lock turns on, try to instead of putting back stylus in when screen is on ,turn it off and then put stylus back, turn screen on and there you go.. untill you take stylus out again there will be no double lock. You just have to remember to put it back when the screen is off and it will work great.
hope that helps.
Is there any to Auto Lock screen during call
but without 3rd party screen-lock replacement?
WedgetLocker Lockscreen, Screen Suite, etc....all of them running in "Home mode" but not a native lock... in addition, they take too much memory (even 20MB+, it is not really make sense for me to use them...)
Seems that it is a hot topic in android.....
I know that if I put my phone close to my ear can black-screen the phone
but the problem is that it is too easy to hit the EndCall button before the screen close to my ear....
Have this problem myself... did not manage to find a proper resolution.
I have a Galaxy Tab P-1000:
We all HAVE TO WRITE COMPLAINTS TO SAMSUNG for this to be fixed properly. I did and hope some day an updated firmware ROM or patch will come out. There is nothing I could find on XDA after serching 2 days. And the phone's Market provides with lock apps that load and take effect only at the end of rebooting hence messing up with the original locker that plays in earlier. The "best of the worst" is Screen Suite, but it as well messes up once in a while + the home key doesent care about any 3-rd party lockers installed. As weel as No Lock is crap as it randomly ceases working at all, so there is no way to really get rid of the original locker.
Very annoying thing as taking into account the big size of the device I suppose anyone using it as a phone uses BT headsets with the device left in the bag that can potetially get anything pressed during call answering.
Please write complaints to Samsung Tech Support and their Software Developers!!! We need to attract more of their attention to this serious inconvenience threatening one of the main advantages of this tablet comparing to others - its mobility factor.
HAve the same problem. When I moved the phone close to my ear,my face would touch the "hold" key,and I cant hear the voice of the one I spoke to,until I realized my unexpectly touching....
Hi,
is there an option for android-HD2s to disable the proximity sensor? I'm sick of the behavior of my device that the screen doesn't turn on again after making a phone call, taking out battery isn't a very useful option...
I already tried the Recalibrator for the sensor (originally for DesireHD), it worked for a few days but now again i've got the problem...
Therefore i'd rather have the screen turned on during the phone call, than having a blocked phone after the call..,
Do you know a solution?

hi, I guess you are using Desire HD rom. If is so I fully understand you. Those build s avery big and laggy. After trying many, many rom s Iwent to this one>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=931126
The screen turns on , everything work s fine. And it is crazy fast. Believe me, you will love android after this.
the best DHD Rom is Core Droid, in 1.3 the sensor was good, but in the actual 1.4 its bad again, try it when the next version is out. its very fast and nice skinned, also always good updates like the controls widget in the notifications bar.
Are we talking about the rom for hd2??is there anyone who can help us on the same problem?
I do this that way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16008095&postcount=4
