I don't know what to do. Backstory of this is, I bought the Droid 1 back in August. Went through 2 (refurb) of those before I switched to the D2 when it came out. Went through 6 of those for various reasons, all refurbished as well. The manager at my store decided it was time to try me on a new device, so I chose the Fascinate. I got the refurbished device in the mail and it worked great until I placed a call; the microphone was busted inside of it. I went back up to the store to place yet ANOTHER order for a refurbished unit. I got home last night and the phone locked up and overheated to the point where I burned my finger by touching it. I removed the battery and SD card and left it to sit overnight.
I just tried the battery, works fine in the other Fascinate I have. Vice versa, doesn't work. My SD card doesn't work anymore either, it just heats up to the point where it's too hot to touch inside the card reader (it also boot loops my D2, meaning internal error). Tried it in two other computers and about to try it in my old Blackberry.
I don't know what to do. I don't want any more refurbished phones from Verizon. Hell, at this point I don't want anything from Verizon. I'm tempted to jump ship because of all of this. I can't find anything in their policy about a lemon law or anything of the sort.
What could I do at this point?
Get another refurbished, sell the damn thing and pay for a brand new one lol.
Its not Verizons fault you got poop phones. The only refurbished i ever got from Verizon was perfect (D1).
Keep trying and you will find some light at the end of the tunnel haha.
Good luck

yikes that sucks man
Been seeing a lot of sdcard issues. Caused me to go get a new one so I didn't get burned. Get it? get burned.
good day. From the Fascinate sporting the XDA app.
It also sounds like you may have power issues at home. Have you checked your power at home to make sure that it's 110V vac and 60 hz? That sounds like a possible issue too. You may be frying your phones.

I HIGHLY doubt you've been able to go through 6 D1's that had GENUINE manufacturer defects....its ALWAYS user error at that point....
The problem is lazy VZW reps (or doing it over the phone is pretty easy too) who don't properly troubleshoot your phone....
It sounds like a memory card indeed thats frying your phone.
And since you went from a D1 to a Fascinate, both of which have a 16 giger in them, I would bet you've been using this same card in all phones, thus solely blaming Verizon for an issue that both you and them didn't think of....
Get a new memory card, and see if that fixes it.
And try plugging in your phone at the store, and see it has any effect on it.

As would I, but I know what I'm doing when it comes to phones. On a side note, I see there was confusion. I went through two D1's before returning it and getting the D2 within the 30 days. The first D1 had a microphone issue out of the box. The other D2s all hardware issues such as screen not responding to touch, microphone busted, speaker busted, etc. It had nothing to do with software, and I don't mistreat my devices at all. Enough of that though..
I have been using the same SD card that came with my very first D1, the 16GB all the way until now. I wasn't aware that an external media card could cause the phone to have an internal error and overheat to the point of bricking both the card and the device itself, nor have I ever heard of it.
In any case though, my replacement unit arrived today and I took it, the old unit, and my card up to the store to which I was greeted with a brand new 16GB card out of the box for no cost at all. VZ customer service rocks, I'll never say otherwise, but I will have to question the quality of their inspection protocols when they're getting ready to ship out a refurbed unit.

Interesting you mention this, I have been using the same charger from my BlackBerry Storm [1] for all of my phones. It's never cause a problem before (I figured if it acted up I'd switch it out) but see the thing is, it wasn't connected to the charger when it overheated so I don't see how that could have happened. I see that perspective and I'm going to look into it. If that's the case, then I need the actual Samsung charger as I only have my D2 charger from the box.

Your BB charger should be exactly the same as the samsung. Both are micro-usb standard. In a world where everything works as intended this shouldn't be a problem. However, there is definitely something going on. You could be charging the phone on unstable power. The memory card could be bad. You have a verizon rep out to get you. Regardless, the probability of having as many factory defective phones as you've breezed through is essentially zero.
Unless you routinely dodge lighting strikes and meteorites during your daily commute. I suggest you do what you can to eliminate potential causes (or narrow them down).

Hey guys, I bought the DX on the day it was released. about 4 months later I started noticing considerable dust under the screen, so I called it in and Verizon was quick to send me another one. Well the first replacement had a broken radio and wouldn't aquire a 3g signal, Verizon sent me another. That one had a broken shutter, a lot of the pictures taken with it would over expose. I stayed with that one for a couple of monthe til it got so bad that all pictures taken in the daylight would overexpose. so last week i got another sent too me. That replacement phone had a broken gps, it wouldn't aquire a signal strong enough to lock on, so verizon sent me another. This one will not recognize any videos on my sd card, it will not take any videos either, it also will not save any pictures, it will take them, then say that its saving the picture, but somehow it doesnt.
I am on phone number 5 and there is another coming tomorrow (cain't wait to see wht's wrong with this one)... Has onyone else had the same experiences with the certified phones? The company that's tasked to fix these is obviously not doing there job...
You got really unlucky back when I had my droid eris it froze up doing the ota to 2.1 and they gave me a preowned phone that worked just fine
Sent from my DROIDX
My first pre-owned had mad reboot issues and none of the troubleshooting methods worked. Got a replacement pre-owned and all is well. Good luck with your next one!

Verizon is notorious for this - supposedly these certified pre owned phones pass a "100 point inspection", yet somehow most of the phones have obvious problems such as the ones you outlined above. You might have some luck going into the store, explaining your situation, and demanding a brand new one instead of a used one.
a LOT of the "recertified" phones don't actually have anything wrong with them at all. Customers return them before their 30 days is up, or they get sent in for things like a broken battery or broken SD card. So sometimes these "recertified" phones are actually brand new in box, that just never came with an SDcard (or something along those lines).
I think you just got REALLY REALLY unlucky.
Maybe go to a verizon store and give it the "wardo5757 100 point inspection" before you take it home.
What a great thread to read right after I have a replacement shipped (will be here tomorrow). Stupid mini usb port is super loose and won't take a charge.
Who am I kidding though, Verizon replaced 3 of my TP2 device to the point I got a letter saying Assurion would no longer cover me. I have bad luck with phones but have never had a problem with a replacement outside of once or twice. Better luck next time!
Hello everyone,
I need some advice or suggestions on what to do. The Mytouch 4g, as you all may know, has a lot of problems. I've done many exchanges now, and some of them were done back to back. The first few times, TMO was able to ship express for free, but now they are charging me $9.99 for regular ground shipping even though the phones that I receive are defective. I am very frustrated at this point and have been thinking about canceling all 4 of my lines with them and eating the $800 ETF. What do you guys think I should do?
You may be wondering why I have to exchange it so many times..
Unlike the fellow perfectionists that you guys are, I never exchanged a phone that had a bad screen or squeaking buttons. The first time I exchanged it was because it had two dead pixels, then the power button would no longer work, then there was a ton of dust under the screen to the point where I had trouble seeing the top left corner where my status/notification bar is, then I had wifi and reception problems, then I've had the phone either shut off or reboot on its own.
I've been running into many, many problems - and they are not always the same problem either. After the third phone, all they have been doing is sending out refurbished units that are 'pre-damaged' by the previous user. On top of that, I have to pay for shipping on each phone, plus the Zagg's invisible shield (it's about $23 with labor on installation) that I had on several of the replacement phones. After troubleshooting for hours on end with tech support, I noticed that my battery cover is loose since they had me reboot/remove battery so many times, I ended up buying the gel skin case from TMO yesterday so that the battery cover wouldn't fall off.
I would be glad to take any advice that you guys have at this point. Thank you.
Edit: By the way, I did not have any apps other than opera mini - didn't even update youtube and things like that.
The statistical likelihood of getting 9 defective devices in a row is astronomical. Truly. If you are being honest and these are all really manufacturing defects then you sir are the unluckiest ****er ever and you are never welcome to babysit my kids. I don't really have any advice except to say that if your next problem is software related, try rooting and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I would avoid crosswalks and commercial flight if at all possible. Damn dude. Unlucky...

They can offer to give you a different phone all together. Like the g2 or galaxy 4g. Just ask
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
Do this. Call tmobile and tell them the issue with your device. Have them do another warranty exchage, but, instead of getting it shipped, tell them that you really do not want to wait once more to receive another device shipped and that if you can go into a tmo store and pick up a warranty replacement. They shouldn't have a problem telling you yes. Have them call the store so they can tell them you will be going in to get a warranty replacement. This way for sure you wont get a refurbished device. You will be getting a brand new one out of the box. This is the way I did my warranty exchage. They even gave me an extra battery for free.

I agree with coupetastic-droid and also after your 5th replacement you should get a different phone if u want for ur replacement. Try for a g2 or even a g2x!

TJ you crack me up. I actually went through this guys episode with a mytouch slide, 5 phones under warranty, but they never charged me a dime for shipping. The one and only issue i had with the Mytouch slide was dust under the screen. I can't remember if it was the 3rd or the 4th replacement i got in the mail, but that one came with dust in all four corners. Didn't even insert a SIM card in that phone just took it down to my local Tmobile store and the manager exchanged it for me. After the 5th replacement with dust i decided to sell it and replace it with a MT4G. Well it was all good for a week until my power button failed to work, 1st exchange. They made me pay the 9.99 shipping for that one. Receive the new phone and i notice the display sucks compared to my wife's MT4G. Instead of calling in to tmobile i drive down to the local Tmobile store and i show the manager my predicament ( mind you this is the same guy that was exchanging my Mytouch Slide). Nice guy orders me another MT4G, waived the shipping. 3rd phone arrives a few days later, display is washed out, but i decide to live with it. Figuring that if i exchange it again I'll get another one with the crappy display. F**K me if the power button doesn't work after two weeks. I go back to the Tmobile store and have another chat with the manager, orders me another MT4G and waives the shipping. Manager tells me, "You're the unluckiest man i've seen with a phone", and i said "yes, yes, I am." Last exchange was the charm, good screen, and the power button actually works. I honestly thought i was the only poor bastard that could be this unlucky with phones. I have to show my wife this post, so she doesn't think i'm the unluckiest man alive. You sir have just made my day. If you can i'd go to a local tmobile store and see what they can do for you. Best of luck.

First of all, nice 'Lude. I just picked up an 07 Civic Si Sedan on Saturday and I ****ing LOVE it!
2nd, are you running stock Sense or rooted? To be perfectly honest I've found the stock Sense to be much more buggy than the cm7 I've been running for the past 3 or 4 months.
My first phone had random reboots and such and a factory reset seemed to solve the issue, but I'm assuming they had you do that multiple times.
Even if the phone is fresh out of the box, do a factory reset before you use it. It might help, it did for me.
Otherwise check out cm7 or one of the Sense roms around here. Removing all the bloatware actually does wonders for stability. If you really want I can upload a nandroid of my own stock rom with the bloatware removed.
On my 3rd mt4g and I'm about ready to go back to iPhone most androids have to many hardware issues.

First of all, yeah.. my Lude is old news. Since then, I've switched to an S2k, but that got stolen. Now I'm in an 06 Evo.
Anyway, back on topic..
The phone is completely stock. This is the FIRST PHONE I've ever owned that I have kept stock - Why? Because I don't want to have to unroot it when I send it in for warranty repairs.

Unrooting is as simple as flashing pd15img.zip through hboot. Not that hard.
Definitely try a different rom. As I said I've found cm7 to be much more stable than stock.

i got pretty bad luck with my phone. finally got a good one after like 9 exchanges and a month later the power button went out. i called them and they told me i couldnt exchange anymore cause i "had too many problems with the phone." so the rep told me that the only thing they could do left is to exchange my phone for a motorola charm.....i was like wtf why the heck would i want to downgrade my phone, which polly cost more then that piece of **** charm and it doesnt even run android...major downgrade.
Dude. That blows. Hard. I'm sorry to see that you're having so many problems with your phone and I'm glad I don't have the same luck as you. I got mine from eBay and it came in perfect condition. Never had dust under the screen, good screen, no faulty hardware, etc.
But in all seriousness, after 5 phones, I wouldn't keep it. I personally think that it's a great phone, but if I had to take it back 9 times, I'd try something else out. Ask if you can switch. It shouldn't cost you anything as long as the retail price is equivalent or lower than the MyTouch 4g, and if I'm not mistaken, it's one of the higher priced ones (rightfully, so). If you don't hate a keyboard, the G2 might be good for you, but I hear the hinge has problems and knowing your luck, the hinge would break apart upon first use. So maybe the Galaxy S 4g? I know Samsung has great hardware, even if their software is crap, as is their update schedules, but that is easily fixed with custom ROMs.
Either that, or wait and return it completely, if you're still within your return time and keep your upgrade for when the better phones come out, i.e HTC Sensation, etc, and just use something affordable off of eBay or Craigslist. Meh
Just my two cents. Sorry if it didn't help much, but I hope your luck gets better. :/
Update:
My luck has gotten worse. I received another replacement phone on April 15th. A week later, April 22nd, I noticed a dead pixel on my screen.
*Sigh* I have no idea what to do now.
You need to move on to a different device. I've never heard of anyone have so many problems with a device.

I called in and spoke to technical support. They asked me to bring the phone to a store so that they can fill out a request for warranty exchange form. However, their tone basically implied something like, "It's impossible that you are getting so many broken phones. We need to verify that your phone is really defective before we do another exchange."
I brought it to a store and the retail sales manager had no idea why technical support sent me there, and basically told me to go call customer service again. He did, however, notate that there were a few dead pixels on the screen and that there was no physical, nor was there water damage.
I then called retentions and the supervisor picks up (without any transferring either). I explained to her exactly what happened, and how technical support had sent me into the store. She told me that she has no idea why because they could have filled out the form for warranty exchange over the phone, just like the other exchanges that I have done so far.
She apologized for what happened and said that I qualify for a multiple exchange (sorry if I got the term wrong!). She said that the manufacturer would exchange my Mytouch 4g for a Motorola Charm..
I explained that it would be a MAJOR downgrade. She then submits the form for the exchange and told me that it would be shipped express free of charge.
So you getting another mt4g or the charm? I'm still teipping about them offering you a charm over a mt4g. They are nuts!

Another MyTouch4g.. Hopefully the 10th one's the charm!
this blows.
of all the crap going on in life right now, the one thing I could count on was my Evo. music, games, and kindle for the commute now that i take the train to my internship.
a couple of days ago I noticed the phone wasn't charging. if i just plugged in the power cord it wouldn't charge, but if i pulled it down, so that it would be at an angle, it would charge. but of course i couldn't keep it that way all night.
opened up the phone and found that the charging plug thing was coming off on at least three of the four big solder points. we just recently fixed my LCD tv with a cheap soldering kit so i figured we'd solder those points and it would work. no difference.
tried it twice and put the phone back together twice, it would turn on and finish loading but wouldnt charge.
opened it again, took out the one screw holding the pcb board to the screen, and looked around to see if there was anything that could be done from that side. i don't think my dad did anything there. i've checked since and nothing got even a scratch. put it back together.
this time the phone vibrates when i turn it on, but the screen never comes on.
opened it again, the charging plug had completely fallen off. the solder does not stick at all.
at this point, i don't care. i can buy a battery charger, and I can remove the memory card to transfer files. i'm happy with my rom so i could live not being able to directly hook up the phone and change system files.
but no screen?!!
so at this moment, for the first time since September, my Evo is out of commission and I can't do anything about it.
anyone know what may have happened here? any solutions? i'm willing to try any suggestions since i can't use the phone at the moment and I need it back.
thanks.
You likely could have had it fixed under HTC's warranty. But once they see it's been opened I believe the warranty is instantly void. You could take it in to the store and see if they will warranty it out and charge you the $35 advanced exchange fee.
Pretty much what he said lol. If you already opened the phone you have voided your warranty so sprint won't want to fix it neither will HTC. Your only two options are fix it yourself with parts off ebay. Second one is run it over with the car pay 100 to Asurion if you have TEP and they will send you a refurb and you send your old one back to them other then that you kinda screwed the pooch when you opend your phone up.
Hope you get it worked out.
i have agree since you cracked it open you screwed yourself :/
the phone hasn't had a valid warranty since last year...so I didn't mess it up.
my question here is what could have messed up the phone. not what messed up the warranty!
you can pick up and evo for between $150-200 on craigslist. just sell your broken one for parts, you would be shocked how many people would buy it.

nah the phone has taken quite a lot of use and abuse since I got it. i'm sad that it got messed up but in no way am I unsatisfied with it.
I did find some on craigslist already. now to wait until I can pay for one!
EDIT: the battery was at 70%. the phone does turn on. not the screen :-(
welcome to the club. That's why I stopped buying htc. They make cheap under performing phones that are guaranteed to fail early. I love my samsung epic.
really? this is my second HTC phone. first was 8125 and I loved it so much I lost it and bought a second one. now the Evo breaks after all this (ab)use and i'm planning on buying a second one or an Evo 3D if i can afford it when it comes out.
so, i'm pretty happy with HTC products.

Well you just go enjoy your Sam****, and we'll suffer with crappy HTC phones....
Trust me your not suffering, the dude with the epic is...my big brother has it and he doesnt really like it lol. He is jumping the HTC ship,he is buying evo 3D. Samsung never responds, never update, the dev support is no where near evo support (IMO) but if I was you try to fix it or buy nexus S or evo 3D

Dev Support isn't as good???????
Maybe not on here, but this site leans more towards HTC.
The Epic Sections of SDX-Devopers is FAT with Dev support.
+1. This is my 3rd HTC phone. All worked well for me.

I called Asurion today about a defective vibrator in my replacement Epic 4G and this is an AUTOMATED message. Meaning that it says this for every call it gets.
Remove the battery
With the battery still out, please key in your 10 digit mobile phone number to your keypad and press the send key three times.

This doesn't seem like it would have an effect on any phone, much less a phone with no send key.
All this was part of an automated message including the part where they check the water damage sticker that isn't present on the phone...
Well, at least I ended up with another replacement phone my way, even if it was after they hung up on me about 4 times because I was calling from the phone I had issues of.
At least I get a free Micro SD card and an OEM battery every time they mess up

LoL "defective vibrator".
Ummm...you should have just taken it to a corporate sprint store? If you're paying for full TEP, then sprint would have replaced it for free.
Unless of course it stopped working because of water damage...
And BTW, the water detecting litmus paper is under the back housing, you wouldn't see it unless you were taking the phone apart.
EDIT: sorry, nevermind. Just realized you were talking about a replacement you already got from asurion. My bad

You do realize that 90% of phone owners are nowhere near as educated as people here on xda, right? They probably tell you to do that to distract you so the phone can sit without a battery for a minute or so.

I think that's part of the point the OP is making. Asurion could easily just say, take the battery out of the phone for 'x' seconds/minutes. Then, place the battery.

And every time i have an issue they give you so much **** its not even funny and its become ridiculous on sprints part.

Gotta love it. I gave my 16GB card from my replacement to my brother for his EVO to upgrade him from his 8GB one.
Love the spare battery. I charged one up, and I carry it with me all the time just in case I can't get to a charger.
Hope they didn't charge you your deductible again, and take a point off your claims. I'm only allowed 3 claims a year. Already had to use one. Sprint lied to me too. Said I had a $50.00 USD deductible, I looked on my card account history...$100.00 USD!
Ahhh the world of outsourcing to stupid ass companies LOL If I have ever had to have a phone replaced I go to a Sprint store. I bought and paid for a new phone and if it needs replaced, I get a new phone. Not some used and possibly abused piece of crap that has been quality checked by someone who probably doesn't know his or her head from their ass.
Its def 100

Haha, the worst part is that they don't let you call in from the phone you need support from. They automatically hang up on you after the dreadful 10 minute process. I ended up calling them off google voice...on my phone.

Hmm. I talked to the Sprint rep and they offered to pay the deductible.
The other phone they sent me (my second replacement phone in a week) had issues with the touch buttons on the front. There seems to be a problem with their refurbishing process for this phone...
Well, as long as I'm scoring free overnight shipments of new phones to unbox with free batteries, 16GB memory cards, and chargers, I'm cool.

IMO, if you hit 40%, you are having a miracle day

TEP has been great for me, replaced one with a broken usb for free, & one that got lost for $100
All pretty much hassle free

I wonder how many people in this thread that bash Asurion know that they are the insurance provider for all of the top 4 carriers...
There's only a few situations where Asurion even needs to be involved:
Crack in the screen that is longer than 1 inch (yes the policy did recently change, shattered screens are not covered in the stores anymore)
Water damage or other physical damage (run over with car, chewed up by dog, etc)
Lost or Stolen (Use the protection app or another locator app to try and track it down and save a deductible, and maybe expel some aggression towards the schmuck that took your phone.)
Anything else should go to a tech store for them to fix or replace it.
And, honestly, $100 is not bad for a $500 phone to be replaced next day.
The refurb process is a little strange; some refurbs I have received from Asurion or Sprint repair stores have been great with no issues, and some have been back to the store in less than a couple weeks with issues, and I've had quite a few Sprint devices since 2002.
Sprint has a "30 Day Bounce" policy meaning if you get a refurb that has a legitimate issue (nothing software related) then they need to send it back to Asurion or wherever to have them re-refurb it and get you another refurb.
I don't see why people are so afraid of refurbs, they are just as likely to have issues as the new phones, but are put through more testing than the new phones. My refurb Epic is holding up great so far compared to the new one, but maybe I just got lucky.

its acually more like 196 dollars. dont forget your monthly payment as well as the deductible.
you can buy an epic on ebay for less than 200 dollars also.
I have phantom headphones in CM7.
This just came out of nowhere. Everything worked fine an hour ago.
All of a sudden the headphones icon is blinking. The phone thinks it has headphones connected, so it's blocking sound to the phone speaker. But there are no actual headphones involved.
Restarting didn't stop it.
I didn't make any system changes today. There's nothing physically in the headphone plug.
But my phone is suddenly useless as a phone because it thinks headphones are being plugged in and out every second.
Anyone got any idea what the hell is going on?
I reflashed CM and the problem is still there.
I reflashed stock 2.2.1 and the problem is still there. So it's definitely an out of nowhere hardware issue.
And this phone is a warranty replacement that I just got 3 days ago. Awesome.
Does HTC have ANYONE actually doing quality control?
And now T Mobile is sending me yet another refurbished phone. So I get to spend another night reloading all my stuff and tweaking settings. [sarcasm] Awesome. [/sarcasm]

that happened to me too and i just cleaned out the jack and rebootet and bingo. dust and gunk get in there and give you hell. and ive heard bad things about refurbished phones but ive never been able to tell the difference between that and a new one with ones ive had. it probly depends on the place it was its refurbed at.

Can you give me more details on how you cleaned it out?
I've picked at it with a tiny screw driver, put a headphone plug in it and spun it around, and hit it with compressed air.
Nothing seems to make the problem go away. Did you have some kind of awesome technique?
And T-Mobile is losing major credibility with me over this issue. I just bought the phone at the end of August. This is already my 2nd bad one. The T-Mobile guy on the phone told me there would be processing charges for BOTH phones on my next bill after the guy in the store who processed the exchanges specifically told me there would be no cost. And now I'm apparently waiting until November 16th to get the 2nd replacement after the guy in the store told me I'd get it today (next business day) and that's after it took this broken one a week to get to me after the guy in the store told me I'd have it the next day the first time.
When I got to the supervisor at T-Mobile she made it 10 times worse by trying to up sell me the warranty and exchange program saying that's the only way she could have this fixed by tomorrow.
I'm like "It was supposed to get fixed by today for no fees or charges according to the guy who processed the exchange. Now you're telling me you've added fees after the point of sale? And now you want me to agree to another $15 a month so you can get this fixed tomorrow? It was supposed to get fixed TODAY for no fees! I just bought the phone 2 months ago and I'm already waiting on a 3rd model due to the extreme lack of quality control on these POS's. Now you want me to spend more money? Are you high?"
i know!! they tried that crap with me and i said im not waiting a week for your f*** up and walked out. then called htc and they took care of everything because im still under warranty. dont deal with money hungry salesman holding phones hostage for $15 a month.
but i used the same technique as you except i put rubbing alchohol on the swab to clean the contact better. *dont use a jack ass amount of alcohol though*

Well that didn't work. I'm sure there's a short in the electrical system. The battery drains like water through a colander ever since this problem showed up.
But I think the short is internal and not right at the plug. (Which is odd because if I plug in a headset it works fine. I just don't want to carry a headset with me wherever I go.)
The best solution I've found so far is just to turn off the "Display headset icon" in the cyanogen settings so I don't have to look at the damned think blinking, then just use my phone as a text only device until the new one comes on Thursday.
yeah but it sucks that your battery is draining still..but im sure you can tough it out till tomorow

It's torture!
Absolute torture! The CIA should realize they don't have to water board terrorists because of this. They can just take away half the functionality of their smart phones!
I mean it! I'll talk! I'll say whatever they want me to say! Just make my phone work!
Or...send me another borked one. I'm good with that too because I'll trade it as an even exchange for a 4G Slide, give it to my wife, and upgrade her account with a Sensation that I will take.
I think the thing that annoys me is that the one that just broke has the good emmc chip and the good screen. But this random stupid problem. Now I have to play the "Do you get what you paid for or do you get garbage parts" lottery again. And even if I get the good parts I can never rely on the device again because it's reputation is killed with me.
Update: And i came in 50/50 in the new phone lottery. Bad screen but good chip.
