[Q] Trade my HD2 for a Galaxy S - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

i would you trade your hd2 for a galaxy s. i have a offer for my hd2.

There's a dozen threads on this already, please search a bit first.
It all comes down to personal preference, both have their pros and cons.

Personally I would do it, but thats just my opinion

it's a pretty tough decission to make. i think the thing i would miss most is the led-flash and the hughe number of differnt builds. does anybody know a board where i can get a little bit more galaxy s moding compared to xda?

NO FREAKING WAY! I despise the Galaxy S! I've used it a lot and it really blows! Samsung can't make good software to save their lives.

the reason why i am even thinking about it, is the sgx540 gpu. it's so much more powerfull than the lame z430. i am thinking about some gaming in the upcoming future. normally i keep my phone about 2 - 3 years and i just got the hd2.

If that is your primary reason then it sounds like you are answering your own question.......

I would do it because the Galaxy S is worth more.
I'd sell the Galaxy and buy another HD2 and keep the profit

I actually had both phones at the same time and decided to keep with the HD2. A couple reasons for this: vibrant didnt have froyo, no flash and the phone felt cheap. The phone was extremely light and had plastic covering which left like itd break if I ever dropped it. The HD2 however has a much better build with hard mental casing that feels sturdy. The only good thing for the vibrant was the screen and nothing else.

Yeah that's one of my complaints. It feels so so cheap. All plastic. No glass. No metal. Take the battery out and it's lighter than a pack of playing cards.

i thought the ts is glas covered.

Screen is not regular glass but Gorilla glass

The wife has the Vibrant, and i agree it feals CHEAP.. i am always afraid i will break it with my gorilla hands..

HD2 = much Dev = in 2011, HD2 will be alive, with WP7s or Gingerbread 3.0
GLS = Less Dev = in 2011, Stocked in Froyo2.2
The only goodie of GLs is the Screen.....but dont have flash camera...lol.

in adition we should add more raw-power to the + side of gls.
and the thought of getting stuck with froyo really makes me feel uncomfy.

I'm sure the galaxy will get gingerbread... maybe not officially, but the hd2 doesn't have any android officially. You can root and put different roms on the galaxy... and there's a lot of developers working with the galaxy. The hd2 is not the only phone that has people developing for it and has different roms and builds to use.
Ofcourse in a hd2 forum you will find most people saying that the hd2 is better... post in the galaxy forums and you will find most people saying the galaxy is better.
Edit: actually just out of curiosity I was just looking through the galaxy forum and was reading that Samsung is already working on gingerbread for the galaxy s... not sure how true it is, but it was confirmed by a couple people.

Returned my Nexus S

Returned my unlocked Nexus S, connectivity is the biggest issue with it then screen response and freezing.
I compromised on the desireble specs to buy Nexus S only coz Google put their stamp on it. I seriously dont understand why Google will pick Samsung (is it the super AMOLED display or something else). HTC has far better workmanship n service compared to Samsung -they r in such a rush to inundate the market with phones that their is no quality control or post sales service.
Ley me put it this way I'm never gonna buy Samsung phone again. Bought 3 of their flagship best phones in last 3 years n let down all 3 times
1. Samsung Omnia when it came out from Europe $ 600
2. Samsung i8910 (first with Amloed Display) again form europe for $700
3. Nexus S $571
I've used samrtphone for last 12 year from Palm 180 to everything, and i would say Samsung are the worst.
Back to my Nexus 1 n wating eagrly for upgrade.
Opinions are like assholes...
...Everyone has one LOL
... and their full of sh#t!
Seriously tho does anyone even give a damn about these "I h8 NS!" threads besides the trolls?
Samsung is doing a fine job manuacturing their phones, I'm glad I don't have to deal with TouchPiss anymore.
Google probably went with Samsung over HTC because:
- They use the Hummingbird processor, HTC doesn't.
- They're the only ones with Super AMOLED technology.
- HTC is getting their pants sued off by Apple.
- Google is trying to diversify.
- Contractual/agreement issues, who knows.
- Maybe HTC didn't want to parter again in the first place.
i am glad Google went with Samsung this time. People who own Nexus One know that the touchpad that HTC used was a ****ing fiasco. Also, this is my biggest pet peeve virtually on all HTC phones they use the crappiest quality speakers.
Sounds like the OP needs to look up the definition of "insanity" with regards to his repeated purchases of Samsung products.

I'll have to say the speaker quality on this Samsung is far better than the one on my G1. The touch screen is much more responsive than on the G1 and registers better. Of course it is a million times faster than the G1. Also, I don't need to root and modify the hell out of just to make it work remotely close to other phones.
I am impressed do far.
Only complaints, no LED notifications (knew this going in), and my wireless signal is weaker on this phone than it was on my G1 or any other wireless device in my house. Not sure what's up with that. Also, that it doesn't take advantage of T-Mobiles HSPA+. I knew this as well going in.
I don't do much mobile browsing anyway, but do like to show of videos with friends and that can be a downside. Though T-Mobile is as much to blame as a manufacturer not supporting it (read T-Mobile just sucks sometimes).
Good for you that you returned your Nexus S. Thanks for sharing. Now move on to a different forum. Or do you require some counseling for your loss?
I went from rooting the Nook color, got hooked on Android, and then bought the Nexus S. I couldn't be happier. Pure Google! Customize! No cell carrier branding! 2.3! Oh no, they have a quad core with a kitchen sink plug in, I must return my Nexus S!
Take care all. Looking forward to all the mods and roms.
Perhaps somebody should start a "I'm not returning my Nexus S, I'm perfectly happy with it" thread....
only 2 sensible posts thanks rashad1 & geitl.

Wouldn't it be more helpful if, in the middle of your rant, you explained WHY you thought that the Nexus S let you down?
I'm interested, especially since mine is arriving in 2 days time...
I have to agree. The ONLY thing I don't like about my Nexus S is that I'll have to put a screen protector on it because it doesn't have Gorilla Glass.
I wish they'd saved whatever cash they spent creating curved glass and just used Gorilla Glass instead.
I have Nexus S as well as Desire HD and I can tell you signal strength is far better on the Nexus S. HTC have shocking antenna problems on every Android. Still love the HD but the Nexus poops all over it.

Galaxy S vs. Nexus S

Nexus S now has the spotlight, because of the Google brand, but what does this mean for other devices, especially Samsung Galaxy S phones? One effect is Gingerbread has now been ported from Nexus S to Galaxy S (see their forum).
Why compare the two phones? Their specs aren't far, but they still have their own pros and cons. Looking at the pros that they have in common would also be interesting, like how they share parts (same battery) and software.
Nexus S' advantages over Galaxy S include
Google brand (and the software that comes with it)
NFC
contour display
Nexus S advantages over some Galaxy S units
price (in many cases)
unlocked (vs. some Galaxy S units)
front-facing camera
camera flash
complete 4 buttons (back, home, menu, search)
Galaxy S' advantages over Nexus S include
Micro SD Slot
availability (international + many carriers)
Gorilla Glass
Bluetooth 3.0 (vs. Bluetooth 2.1 on Nexus S)
Other factors are hard to measure, like community support, so feel free to suggest pros and cons then I'll add them to this post.
I was compelled to post this, because of Galaxy S' Micro SD card, gorilla glass, availability here in my area and Nexus S software ports. Would you prefer Galaxy S over the Nexus S?
its a matter of preference
Just a few observations:
1) Vibrant also has Gyroscope as far as i know.
2) Any of the GSM based Galaxy S phones can be easily unlocked for free.
3) Complete 4 buttons (back, home, menu, search) ??? Don't quite get that one.
Everything sounds about right, except for the Contour display on the Nexus, still trying to figure out what exactly is the advantage of having the curved glass.

why list bluetooth as an advantage?

Yep, figured that Gyroscope thing and edited OP. Galaxy S really has it.
Unlocking is quite easy for us, so yeah. Not a factor to consider for XDA people.
The 4 buttons is about the lack of a hardware search button on many Galaxy S units.
I'm not sure the Gorilla glass question was ever fully answered with either phones. The Galaxy S (i9000) is actually quite easily scratchable and Samsung never said it had Gorilla glass, they just never denied reports that it has a type of Gorilla glass that was allegedly not quite as good. The same that Samsung have said the Nexus S doesn't have Gorilla glass - I'm sure it will still have some form of hardening.
The screen on my Nexus S feels exactly the same as my i9000. Time will tell if it scratches the same.
I like to add:
Nexus S has :
Much better in-call audio quality.
Better build quality
Better speaker
Snappier software
GS:+Better Camera,Radio.
Yes. Radio is one aspect. Plus the cost is relative. In my country the Nexus S maybe quite expensive. Heck, we haven't even seen Nexus S yet. Will be releasing in February I hope!!!
Plus i read that even the Galaxy S is getting the Gingerbread upgrade in some time.
Galaxy S: 720p, TV Out
Is it true that you can screenshot in GalaxyS Froyo using back and home, but on the Nexus S you can't?
If you're in the right place then yes you can. But its much easier to root and use a screenshot app.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
+ touchwiz has many extras over stock os
+ plays divx, xvid, and maybe mp4 video
+ I think usb sliding door is very useful
+ 720p with Tv-out
Still have ability to add Front camera to Vibrant thanks to xda, and new roms and kernels make the phone fast and Gingerbread-like.
Nexus has NFS chip which is technically there but practically useless.

Bt 3.0 has faster data transfers, less connection loss, and most important it doesn't use battery as much as 2.1. About updates....while its true that nexus s will get updates, the only real update is 3.0 which is not coming anytime soon.....

As someone already said, the lack of hardware search button is one reason (on the i9000). It annoyed the heck out of me for a very long time, but eventually I got used to it, and adding the Voice Search button to Launcher Pro dock was a big help in that.
Also, on the i9000, I really liked the iPhone-like physical home button at bottom center. It lets you wake the device (or just go to home screen) much more easily when using the phone one-handed. This is the biggest user-experience challenge for me in switching to the NS from an i9000. YMMV.

All kinds of theories on the curved glass (reduce glare, fits head better, ???). My personal theory is that one of the big design flaws with the i9000, Vibrant is the huge bump at the bottom of the device on the back. I've disassembled the i9000 and there are some radio antennas down there. The bump is still there, but it's not as big (in terms of sticking out the back). I wonder if the curved glass just lets them hide some of the internals more towards the front of the device than the back.
That said, I think the curve makes the phone really sexy. Much nicer look than other phones out there.

Amen! On the other hand Supercurio, DocRambone, and Paul at Modaco have already started releasing stuff for our Nexus S phones, so I think this device will get the love that other Galaxy S phones didn't really get.
If you have a Galaxy S already, then no dont buy a Nexus S. thats a waste of money.
if you dont have either, then :
- Both have same screen
- i find 16GB is more than enough but the option to add more memory for Galaxy S is better " so its up to you how much movies/music you like
- Bluetooth 3 on GS is better than 2.1 on NS "wtf they were thinking ? "
- GS can play Divxs Movies " but this is not very important. you can download from the market Vplayer and it will play anything so this point mean nothing really "
- Nexus S has a newer software, and will be the first to get a 3.0 while Samsung is still thinking whatever they should give us a 2.3 or not on GS . hell even when they did port 2.2, it was very ****ty port so i am not holding my breath. and i am sure going to dream about 3.0 on Galaxy S because i will tell you right now. its not gona happen.
with all the negatives and pluses of both phone. if i have to buy one . it sure is the nexus S. its more "future proof " than Galaxy S.
but if you were able to find like a used galaxy S sim free for like 250$ or so " oe whatever you find acceptable, then hell go for it.
but personally i would wait. new phones are coming early next year that really much superior than a galaxy S and its brother Nexus S
I have both and I have to say the NS is much snappier than my Vibrant (which is complete with FFC mod and a great custom rom). My main reason for getting the Nexus was for the direct Google support. After waiting forever and ever for the 2.2 update that still hasn't come to US carriers I wanted to have a phone that I knew would be supported and the NS is that phone. Having 2.3 stock is great and it's coming to the N1 shortly which makes me feel a little more at ease.
The community on the GS side is great. I still love that phone 100% because of the community and I'm not selling it either because the community will continue to make that phone better with or without OEM support.

Build Quality

HI all
I was wandering how is the build quality in this phone?
I would love to give it to my girlfriend but was just wandering after hearing/reading some negative comments about galaxy s 1 build.
Thank you in advance for any comments, or links to articles or such.
Regards
Kirior
I think it's awesome. Even it's plastic, it's really assertive and the back cover stays so tight. Just the opening is a bit tricky... But you only need to do this once, luckily. If you need to change sim-cards or memory cards daily, then I don't recommend this phone.
Samsung isn't known as "Samsuck" for no reason. Buy her an HTC phone. I would steer clear of any Samsung phones.

To try and add some value to an otherwise useless post, I haven't owned a Samsung phone since the CDMA i730 Windows phone. It was a funky phone without a lot of joy and some really questionable design choices. From there I had a succession of HTC phones spanning six years. They were all solid, ran well, and gave me little to complain about. I got an LG phone which I kept for a whopping three weeks before realizing it was a pile of rubbish. So, with an unbiased view, I chose the Samsuck GS2 and couldn't be happier. Back on topic, the build quality is great. Fit, finish, style, feel are all what you'd expect from a high-end device. Alas, because it's shiny parts are exposed front and back, all that beauty has to be hidden by a case which makes it look pedestrian. I just got my Case-Mate tough case today and the phone now looks mummified. Oh well, at least it's protected.
I really dont understand the questions about build quality the sgs or sgs2. My orignal sgs(vibrant) was heavy duty. Yes its light and yes its made out of plastic. But ive dropped my vibrant from various heights and the battery cover never popped off, no marks on screen or anything. Both phones, specially the sgs2 feel like a lighter, thinner HD2. Niether feels flimsy, cheap, breakable.
One of the Hd2s ive owned fell from bathroom sink to tile floor, and shattered after a 3 -4foot drop.
Build Quality is important to me as I work with dogs(90%) and other various animals. Besides the psycho owners, I deal with psycho 200pound dogs on a daily basis. I get bumped, biten, jumped on, rubbed, attacked etc all day, everyday. Not a single scratch, scrap, dent on the sgs2 and thats with no protection for 3 weeks.
Now the only bad quality choice samsung and other manufactors use is the damn cheap silver/chrome/aluminum bezel around the phones. Since I dont use cases consistently im prone to scratch the bezel by the end of ownership.
Another plus is the couple cases I do have dont add extra bulk like other phones. Im waiting on quality extended batteries to come.
HI guys
Thx for all replies, all in all i have bought SGS2 for her. She is in heavens now i guess that's all that matters and she does take care of the phones so i know i will not land on the floor or such just wanted to make sure.
thanks again and for me the thread is closed.
Kirior
I find the build quality of the S2 pretty decent although I had my doubts when I just got the phone. After using it for a couple of weeks I think the build quality is fine and I'm sure this phone will last a long time.
However, today I had the HTC Sensation in my hands for the first time and I must confess that the build quality of the Sensaion is clearly better.
The build quality is much better than i expected. Yes, it is plastic, but feels pretty solid, no creaking or flex. I have an SE Arc also, similar thickness, but would say that the gs2 is easily the more high quality build of the two.
Regarding the battery cover, it is thin and flimsy, but i cant imagine a new one costing much if you needed one. What bothers me more is the texture, it feels more slick than a shiny back, but a case might fix that.

[Q] Pros and cons of the DesireZ?

Hello guys! currently I am on contract with a HTC Desire, and I will be getting an upgrade soon and have been looking at the Desire Z for the slide out keyboard and more pocket-sized shape in comparison with the massive DHD screen. And I've lost interest in the Sensation due to lack of rootability
So my question is this: Is the slide out keyboard prone to snapping/failing? I ask this because once upon a time i had an LG KS360 which i loved for the same reason: the sliding keyboard w/ QWERTY layout. Only thing is, about 7 months of ownership resulted in a broken keyboard. There was no hope...no response, rotation wouldn't always work when sliding it out so i really don't want to go through that 'pain' again
Pros and Cons
I'm using this DZ (Asia version) for about..well...8 months since Dec. last year and there're some pros and cons of its
Pros :
- The body : stylish...i really like the Z-hinge, it's verrrrryyy cooollllllllllllllllllll (and manly too )
- The keyboard : perfect for email & sms-ing
- Hardware : Insane overclocking , i'm using unity mod rite now and it acts like a miracle
- HTC sense is unbeatable
The DZ can be protected by otterbox commuter protection hard case ..you can google it too..I'm satisfy with this case. Don't worry much about the Z-hinge. I used to drop the DZ twice (about 2-3 times) but it's ok
Cons :
- Heavy (in compare with others smartphone)
- I don't like the tungsten color ! => it's black now with the otterbox case.
- A bit outdated at the moment...
Personal Opinion
Very individual preference... For me it is my 1st smartphone with hardware keyboard, and now I'm waiting for a new one with duo core to come out... Then I'll consider it...
Pros:
Hardware Keyboard
Sexy hinge
Aluminium Unibody
A lot of Rom support from private developers n compilers
HTC Sense
Somewhat rarely ppl will buy, because of it's weight
Physical camera shutter key
Cons:
Heavy
Hinge somewhat a lil unreliable (touchwood mine done have much problem)
Battery, I hope for slightly better (around 1600mAh)
Sent from my Synergy Rom using XDA App
I love this phone. Went from an HTC s720 to a HTC Hero and now to the HTC Desire Z and it, IMO, still can compete with most phones on the market despite its age. Personally, I like the extra weight of the DZ, gives me confidence in the unit that I'm holding and lets me know that it's sturdy. I've dropped it from my nightstand afew times (before I got the otterbox) and came out unscathed.
Pros:
Screen (not too big, not to small)
Form Factor (fits perfectly in the palm of one hand and no need to reach for anything)
Hinge (Never seen a hinge like this, loose from the factory, but there are tutorials on how to rectify)
Hardware keyboard (nuff said)
Trackpad
3.5mm audio out
Dedicated camera button
Aluminium body/design (watch out for the battery cover, the film they apply at the factory is weak, but again, there are some sick tutorials out there to polish and clean it)
Cons:
800Mhz from the factory (not really a problem once you're rooted and etc with a custom rom and kernel, I have mine set at 1.3GHz)
No FFC (non-issue really, just another bell i'd like to have to make the phone complete)
Battery (Stock is weak, barely last me a day. Invest in a Mugen 1800mAh and you won't regret it)
Two tone front (would have preferred they keep the front all black or all silver, not both)
IMO, the Pros of this device kill the cons. Every con for the DZ has a fix or workaround for it. Most fixes cost less than $10 and only some of your time. Again, despite it's age, I would still recommend this if you are looking for a powerful phone with a hardware keyboard.

Oh really? hmm...last time i checked it was only temp-root! nevertheless, I still feel more 'drawn' towards the desire Z. Anyways, I'll see what happens. Thanks guys!
I personally wouldn't get invested into he DesireZ at this point in the year. It has been out for a long time (in the smartphone world) and I'd rather spend my money on a more current device with up-to-date specs that you'll get a longer relevant use out of.
Not to say that the DZ is a bad phone, but it definitely is fading in its spec relevance. The hinge is durable, but definitely not as solid as a flat slider type hinge. If you really don't need a keyboard though, you can do better for the $$.

agree... if you have a really good deal then it might be a different story...
i got mine about 5 months ago... i can say it should be staying with me till the market got a new one with dual core and hardware keyboard...
If your in canada, id wait for the "milestone 3" that bell will be announcing shortly. (Droid3 but little different) or do what I'm doing and wait for rogers to release the samsung galaxy 2 slide, due out sometime this fall, it looks sick as hell google it there's leak photos already. But the dz is awesome I love it, but I would rather a more solid slide mechanism.

All the negative hype about the z-hinge is completely overblown. I've been on here since December, and I think I've heard of one guy who broke the hinge. That is probably LESS failures than a more traditional slider-type keyboard.
Some people complain the hinge is too loose, but its designed to open and close with minimal effort. If you haven't already, try out the hinge in person, and see if you like how it works. Personally, I've had my DZ for about 8 months now. While I originally wished it stayed in the closed position a little tighter; its still as sturdy feeling as the day I got it. And I really don't think anymore about how "loose" the hinge is.
I only miss a front camera.
I love this device!

The Z-Hinge is tougher than it's given credit for. I mean, you can go into any Best-Buy or Futureshop where phones are on display, and where all the slider phones are loosened up and beaten to crap, the Z-Hinge on the Desire Z always still works fine. I've had my phone for 4 months now, and the Z-Hinge is still just like it was the day I got it. Slightly loose, but that's by design, it's gotten no looser.
Thanks for posting this thread
This is just another reason to buy the desire z
Im gettin it next week!

Note 2 to have unbreakable screen in October!!!

http://news.mk.co.kr/english/newsRead.php?rss=Y&sc=30800011&year=2012&no=360619
The next Note will have an even larger screen with flexible AMOLED, which is unbreakable! Sounds amazing if true! I want one!
I hope this is true but will put me in a dilemma as I was thinking of getting the note 10.1!
I will get Note 10.1! ..if they will ever release it
If it only was true.....
The note 1 is supposed to have gorilla glass, scratch proof etc. etc. How many have already their screen scratched ?? Battery life improvement with a bigger lcd ?? If we don't use our devices they will last at least a week, that's true !!
I never had the expected battery life they anounced using the phone normally, in fact the ics update made things worse... What's the point of anouncing things that aren't (yet) possible ??
After the latest problem with the update (that they already knew from earlier devices, nexus for example) they still insist in errors from tha past that shouldn't even be possible....... Well i really like my note i just don't like samsung. If they don't solve the problems with the first note before launching the second one .......... But it's all to be in the race with apple...
I'm starting to think i should have bought a zte or an lg.......

So is the windshield of my car....... no big advertisement here.
I will not flash a rom untill the bug is solved. Yes i will miss my note if it bricks since the average repair time seems to be 2-3 weeks and still will come with the same problem.
How about the glass that covers the screen and the digitizer?

Ever noticed how many scratches your windshield has in direct sunlight ??
Here is the mock up image http://i.imgur.com/kZuwC.jpg and source http://www.motoringcrunch.com/news/mobile-tech/10946-samsung-galaxy-note-2-s3-rumors
Hope they stick with current screen size. It is perfect.
I bought mine on last sunday, i say i wont replace it for years! It's the best phone i ever had... and dude... i had lots! I was addicted to apple products, then i bought galaxy nexus 2 months ago and now i have the note. Its awesome...
Got my note upon first release in November, I love it dearly, but I want to move on. I think I want something bigger.... I'm waiting to hear about the Nexus Tablet... hopefully that thing is all I expect it be be, and I will use that as my phone
Oh boy... and here comes the speculation....

Yep, if it wasn't for insurance...... Can't find a screen protector with the right size for it
What I love is the fact that people equate flexible to unbreakable.
I bet if you sit on a flexible screen the wrong way so as to fold it it would break. Reminds me of all the talk when CD's first came out, they said they were unbreakable, my car and the sun proved them wrong in the first week of owning one.
I will be happy if they have a flexible display as I wont be tempted to upgrade.
But like I posted elsewhere I cannot see it happening. What makes the Note unique (besides its size) is its S-pen, as the s-pen requires sensors behind the screen to detect the button presses I can not see how they would incorporate that is a flexible screen.
But I may be wrong
From how I read it the only reason they are using the flexible screen tech is because its much thinner, this will either allow a thinner device then the current note or keep the dimensions giving room for a larger battery. That mockup prototype has nothing to do with the note 2 and I cant ever see a phone design like that. If you put any decent force on it in that folded position the thing would break unless it was made of rubber.
I dont expect it to actually have a flexible screen unless its some type of flip foldout multiscreen design which I doubt it will have, this would make it a true phone tab hybrid if its in the note form factor but could extend out to a tablet. This will probably be the note 3 that does this I wouod think and not something out in october.
Note 2 will likely have a 5.5-5.7 inch screen hopefuly around 1080p with a 3000mah battery or slightly larger if possible. The physical size wont be much larger then the current note but heavier due to the larger battery as larger capacity equals more weight. Being a note it will have a stylus for sure and the phone going by this release will have the same quad as the gs3 maybe slighlty higher clocked, not the faster arm v15 duel core.

guys i dont want an unbreakable screen and stuff....i just want sammy to not foolishly waste the marvels they create!!example: the note:its by far THE BEST phone ive ever used...screen unbelievable: the day i bought it, another guy was buying the s3 and i didnt even feel bad, my phone was looking way better than his..
but i say waste their marvels coz: that ungodly black crush issue. heck almost every note had it in that store and moreover their dealers denied it, saying it was absent when all you had to do was open the calculator app and see the ugly banding right there..they refused to accept and said it was 'the design'..
and photos taken in the dark have this issue too...
other than this this phone ROCKS!!!!! I mean the size is just coooool..never slows down under any kind of multitasking, never heats up, battery is superb..
just wish for note 2, they COMPLETELY get rid of this issue!!! note rocks!!
my note2 = note - black crush + stable ics !!!! ( dont get better than that!!!)
I will never waste more money on another updated note...its never worth it lol this note is perfeft size. Any bigger would be stupid but tk each their own. I got my note sim free so i paid a gud amount for it. I wont be sucked in with tiny updates and 12 mp camera, just another stunt to make folks spend more money.

agree with you mate
I'd love a slightly larger screen. It'll likely be 5'5"...but anything short of 6" would be fine with me.
