!!Sprint Voice Service Down!!

As of 5PM EST Sprint is having service issues and appears to be most areas (per conversation with tier 2 tech support).
UPDATE
00:13 EST- Full service should be restored by 03:00 EST.
Service is back up in more areas but still expect intermittent issues. Can personally verify Chicagoland is working.

Thank you so much for letting us know. I'm visiting some family in the Poconos in Pennsylvania and wasn't sure what was going on. I was getting paranoid that something was wrong. At least internet is still up.

Yes service is down currently in michigan, california, colorado and georgia.
No eta as to when it will be fixed. Tech support has over 2000 calls in queue.

Add Illinois and Ohio to the list. This is going to be a costly issue for Sprint (account credits)

Intermittent for me here in Sacramento, CA, seems to be a 50% failure rate. Sometimes calls go through, other times I get "We are unable to complete your call at this time. Please try again later. (Repeats in Spanish.) Message twelve, switch five four five."

I myself am not but have a friend that's Tier 2 ATS @ Sprint. He pretty much said they're running around like madmen trying to get this fixed and still aren't sure what caused it. As far as causes I had suggested to him a partial profile DB dump (went through similar when I was still in IT, not fun). His response was that it was high on the list.

Seems to be fixed. Working in AZ & NV.

I try not to bother customer service reps when things like this happen. Customer service reps all ways catch the worst of it when ever there's an issue and I really do feel sorry for them as a whole.

HELP ME!!! Extremely slow data!

I got a message yesterday that I went over 5gbs this month now anmy data is crippled, the best scorae I got on speedtest was 0.5mbps download & 0.10mbps upload, this is ridiculous, my internet has never been "4g" the highest its been is about 3.0mbps download & 1.6mbps upload. But still is there something I can do my next bill cycle doesn't start for a week.Help!

I had the same Problem
I had the same problem last month and as much as I love T-Mobile. After the D-DAY of my billing cycle march 21st at midnight still slow. fast forward to today my data speeds are still slowwww. I called them last Friday went to a T-Mobile store switched my sim card issued a trouble ticket to T-Mobile via customer care. only to find out that I have to wait 72 hours to find anything out so I call back Monday at the 72 hour mark. To find there was never a ticket issued the tech then told me that had to delete my advanced task killer. and some other useful apps because they are interfering with t-mobile's rom. I then told him that I do not use their crappy ROM. I am on CM7. so after about an hour of troubleshooting a trouble ticket was issued for my number. It is now Friday and my speeds still suck. Like I told the guy as much as I am loyal to your service this is BS and your company or all cell companies need to learn the meaning of the word unlimited... Webster's anyone

You could try what I did. I was annoyed by the throttle so canceled my data plan for a week then added it again. Got my speeds back and haven't had to cancel it again.

I'm having the exact same problem as you right now. I also havr a tickey out. My bill cycle was reset also on the 21st and my problem isn't resolved. I've already contacted cc countless times and all they tell me is that since I already have a ticket out they'll call me when things get fixed. It already been 2 weeks and nothing. I know they messed up some where when they throttled me. I know I'm still throttled even though they say I'm not in their system. Its bs!

I have got this resolved for many customers before, and we always have to file a TT. You just gotta talk to someone who knows what they are doing or it won't get fixed.

Hope your problem gets resolved soon. After 15 days my speeds were finally restored today. I still gotta call tmo and have them either not charge me for data for this month or at least just charge me half.

Any other 3G XOOM owners not received an update?

It seems like now Wifi owners are receiving updates yet my 3G Verizon XOOM is still sitting around waiting for an update. Any others out there or am I the only one on XDA with a non-updated 3G XOOM?

Not to offend anyone, but I feel that 3g users should get our OTA Updates before wifi.
I got the invite to the Music Beta cause of it, but I'm still waiting on my update to be able to use the Beta properly.

Did anyone else get their Music Beta invite yet? I have not received mine yet, I was wondering if you had to get the update first and the get the invite but that does not appear to be the case?

Yeah, I recieved mine via e-mail without even signing up for an invite. I got it yesterday probably around 4 central time. Its 1030 central time now, and still no OTA update.

No update here, either. If they're going of ESN, it makes sense. I bought my XOOM 3G pretty late (like right before iPad 2 came out), but it's not like there are THAT many XOOMs out in the wild. They could have pushed the update to everyone unless they have a really lame update server.

I bought mine on launch day, first in line. Am still waiting....

Nothing here. Stock unrooted Portland, OR.

Ha. Their service just gets better by the day...not! Texting hasn't even worked for me for 2 weeks on 50% of the towers/places I'm at in the first place. :|

I knew something was up, I'd get a few notifications of voice mails arriving but no calls. This has been going on the past week and I couldn't figure it out.

Where's dirtyshroomz Sprint lover at? He's always the first to post when something goes down on Verizon.

I just sent and recieved 4 texts and made 3 calls after reading this, everythings working for me.

Having no issues at all in Las Vegas.

Mine has been like that for a few weeks now, too...and data is still at, oh, you know, dial up speeds and 1x.
***It's only in a few places, but still nationwide, not just like 2 cities.

No issues here in Des Moines, Iowa. All services working just fine.

I'm not getting texts from certain people (carriers perhaps), and outgoing calls aren't working. I am integrated through google voice too, and any number in my contacts that is listed with a 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx tells me it can't complete the call because i'm out of credit.
never had problems before now. hopefully this all gets worked out.

Mine hasn't skipped a beat (that I know of) and I've tested it. I don't know. Seems fine here in the dirty Duval

I've been on the phone all morning calling all the AT&Ts around trying to find out who's got the S4, and no one seems to have it or know when they're getting it, some say they expect to get them some time tmrw, others said they will today, and a few have told me they usually get shipments in the morning, and it being 1pm now they don't expect anything else today
I've been getting bad news and dead ends everywhere..
have any of you had any luck with your local AT&Ts? just heard this morning Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile got pushed back due to supply issues.. which makes me worry about my ability to pick one up tmrw morning.. shouldn't AT&T have stock by now and be setting up displays?
kinda worried.. any of you guys having better luck than i am?

I picked up mine yesterday, but I think I was more the exception than the rule. I preordered mine last weekend and the store received it yesterday, but they said mine was the only one that arrived. =( I hope you get yours soon!

I got mine from pre-order on Tuesday via FedEx. This thing is awesome.

The story keeps changing
Initially weeks ago I was told to come back to my store when preorders shipped and I could pick one up. Then I was told Tuesday in the store that they would be released today so I made an appointment to upgrade at opening today. When I called to confirm my appoinment and the arrival of the S4's last night they told me they are not releasing until Saturday. Tired of getting the run around, I called 3 other AT&T stores and confirmed that Saturday is the day. They actually posted it on twittter earlier in the week but I guess I was hoping that to be wrong so I could get it sooner than Saturday. But it is what it is people, deal with it or go somewhere else to get it....
FYI, avoid lines and waiting tomorrow morning for the release and make an appointment for an upgrade if you are an AT&T customer. Schedule for when the store opens and you will be the first walking out the door with that little gem in your hands. That tip is for free....

I saw that appointment thing, but I figured they wouldn't really honor it tomorrow.

The best phone I've ever used. Not one complaint yet. .. well besides the lack of root but in due time
I love the display settings. If you hate the usual over saturated Amoleds then you can easily change the color calibration easily.
1080p screen is amazing. The camera is really detailed and a lot of fun with all the features included. I'll post a full res picture in the next post.

I will say that I'm coming from a Galaxy Note and I couldn't be happier. Smaller phone but still with a large screen.

Got mine this past Wednesday, I pre ordered from att premiere website. Love the screen and size, the cell is slippery as heck though I would advise getting a case. I ordered a neo case from spigen

Walked into my AT&T store (Reno) today and they had both colors in stock.

The Att corporate store where I live in Kentucky has them in stock to sell. I went in to try out the demo unit. The nice sales last asked me if I wanted one since they had them in stock. Two things stopped me: I am a Verizon customer and waiting (perhaps with futility) for a 32gb version. That 9gb of free storage would be filled over by some of my Gameloft games alone.

Yes, if you want to come all the way to Massachusetts. HA. My AT&T store is full of them. Sprint however is selling them like hotcakes.
