True evo aosp 2.1

Since the source was released I thought we would see a lot more development in aosp 2.1 roms. A lot of the devs are working on 2.2 but they are still missing a lot of features. Id kill for a fully functional 2.1 aosp rom with out sense.
Anyone else feel this way?
I wouldn't mind seeing it ported either. I used the darch port for the hero, before I retired it for the Evo. Loved it.

I would love this too. Froyo is great, but I'd rather have something fully functional in AOSP. (No, if it doesn't have a working camera, it's not fully functional. Close, but no)
At least 2.1 would be good until Froyo could be perfected. I was happy with 2.1 on the hero.
I'm on the same boat as you guys, until Group is 100% I'd like to see this happen.

I think that this is what the CyanogenMod is supposed to do when it is released.

[Request] Mytouch 4g rom ported to Epic 4g

Could someone pretty pretty please port the mytouch 4g rom to the epic, that would really make my day, touch wiz is not as good as the mySense on the mytouch, plus I love sense.
Thank you for your hard work and time.
It's not as simple as waving a magic wand and poof its ported. Not to mention there is already a group working on porting sense to the epic who cannot get any further until froyo source is released.
I know it's not simple, I have read many threads from here, but I understand that, as soon as froyo source is released is when I really ask someone to port...
But thanks for the heads up

Just thought I'd share and show what we may get in the future. So far the port has been made for the Galaxy S i9000 and Vibrant.
I saw that thread and meant to post it earlier, got caught up with something and forgot.

looks pretty sweet, there a few themes out that appear to be stable.
Galaxy S II... Sprint =(

Samsung Infuse 4G ROMs

are there any devs working on ROMs for this beast?

Epic 4G still rockin' and rollin'

Hey homies,
I've since moved to the Note II, but I saw this chart today and noticed that Epic 4G is still kickin' trash:

No doubt in large part thanks to the wonderful dev community the Epic 4G enjoyed for several years.
still rockin mine currently with pacman rom. if the development scene was as hot as it is i would have probably picked up something else by now. i have to admit tho that ill probably be jumping ship for the GS4
Now THAT is pretty sweet. I'm still rocking it, cm10 / nexus modem. Blazing fast, no lag or anything, can't see myself upgrading anytime soon.

I've had mine for two and a half years and have no reason to upgrade. Couldn't be happier with my OG Epic currently running flawless on CM10.1 preview build with LF2 modem and NS4G patch. All thanks to the awesome devs and the community!

Man, I'm sorely missing the nexus modem, my Note gets double my stock Epic 3G speeds, but a 4th of my ns4g patched Epic's speeds.
