Suddently when opening IE it automatically opens then immediately closes not giving you the chance to do anything.

Have you tried a soft reset? Mine does this occasionally but a soft reset soon sorts it.
Same for me.
Has nothing to do with memory, cause PIE was the only program running.
Softreset helps.
The problem is that you moved the IE cache to your storage card. Unfortunately people have discovered that doing that causes this problem. If you clear the cache in IE it will help for a little while, but the solution is to move the cache back to the device.

I've moved the cache to my storage card.
So i've to move it back to main memory. *sigh*

If i cant access IE, to move the cache back from the storgae card, is the best way to path it back htru the registry ?
If so do yo have the key and hive to hand ???

I have a Htc HD2 . It had been working very smoothly . But today suddenly after i backed up my device on my storage card it shows that DEVICE storage memory critically low in spite of having only 5-6 programs on my device rest all are on my storage card. i have also backed up my device on my storage card ( sd card) . so no point of backup taking up the memory . every time i see the free memory it reduces . Is there any malicious agent doing so or registry problem .
PL HELP !!! do i have to Hard reset my phone . If not please suggest some software or some technique!!
you must know that a piece of install information of the program installed finish always in your device memory.
but I think your problem is the HTC-Album cache or opera cache, but probably the HTC Album cache.
if you go in \Application Data\HTC\HTC ALBUM\ you can see if the problem is the cache folder

Low storage memory HD2
I've had this problem for weeks. I tried everything said here to no avail. The little space finder program found it at last. It was the download folder in opera full of stuff I thought deleted (over 100meg). Used active sync to open the file and delete the contents. Folder is windows/opera/downloads.
There should be an option to download contents to memory card then this wouldn't happen. Head ache solved.

How do I clean the album cache without making any damage?
It takes now 16M of my storage.
I cant simply delete it isn't I?

I flash CM7 ARC(AfterRC)Nightly 13
but all my pic,music,video in SD
doesn't show in gallery,Music Player,Video Player
I have darktremor cache&data 2sd
and I set it is VISIBLE to these player in file manager
What did I do to show my pics?
I want stock player and my dalvik 2sd

Try clearing the application cache by going to settings > applications > all. Find Gallery and Music Player, clear their cache's, and try if it builds the library again.

Have you tried rebooting? Unmounting then remounting the SD card? Alternative galleries/music players?
I've try many times, it does not work
and i DONT want alternative players
Just try creating a new folder on your SD and moving the media files there. May just work. (Atleast it did for me for my Mp3 Files. Initially, it wouldn;t recognize them, no matter what I did, but, I moved them to a new folder, then, cleared cache, and, restarted music player, and it detected all the files successfully)
If this still doesnt work, I am out of ideas, sorry.
Hi All,
Have a strange problem that i just cant seem to solve. When i plug with Nexus 4 into PC all my files appear but not correctly. I have attached a picture. As you can see all folders are just a white icon which do nothing. Files are accessible on phone and through Airdroid to PC just fine, but i cannot get to my files through USB connection.
I have tried multiple PCs and data cables, i have reinstalled all drivers, i have rescanned media library , booted into safe mode also, fixed file permissoin via TWRP, cleared data from Media Storage App all to no avail
Running stock rooted kitkat 4.4.2
Any suggestions

Hi guys,
After flashing Lollipop rom on my phone the gallery seems to be faulty, i had all media saved on internal storage but when i try uploading a pic to instagram or changing a profile pic on whatsapp it just gives me an error. I then flashed Kitkat again thinking it was the Lollipop rom but the problem is still here.
I moved media to external storage and i am able to upload etc. but still any media on internal storage doesn't allow me to upload. I tried different gallery apps but same issue. Even tried clearing gallery cache but no joy.
Please help!
