Hi guys,
After flashing Lollipop rom on my phone the gallery seems to be faulty, i had all media saved on internal storage but when i try uploading a pic to instagram or changing a profile pic on whatsapp it just gives me an error. I then flashed Kitkat again thinking it was the Lollipop rom but the problem is still here.
I moved media to external storage and i am able to upload etc. but still any media on internal storage doesn't allow me to upload. I tried different gallery apps but same issue. Even tried clearing gallery cache but no joy.

Hi All,
Have a strange problem that i just cant seem to solve. When i plug with Nexus 4 into PC all my files appear but not correctly. I have attached a picture. As you can see all folders are just a white icon which do nothing. Files are accessible on phone and through Airdroid to PC just fine, but i cannot get to my files through USB connection.
I have tried multiple PCs and data cables, i have reinstalled all drivers, i have rescanned media library , booted into safe mode also, fixed file permissoin via TWRP, cleared data from Media Storage App all to no avail
Running stock rooted kitkat 4.4.2
Any suggestions

Hey guys, I am having a very weird problem with my phone.
I wanted to send a picture on whatsapp and it said ''Sharing failed, please try again'' I've looked the error up and tried all kind of things, nothing helped.
So I tried to clear out my internal storage. Turns out, I can't delete anything in my internal storage, and yes I've got everything in ES file explorer to RW. I have a feeling these 2 problems are related, that my phone just doesnt really have access to my internal or external files. Anyone know whats going on?
That weird problem happend to my SM-N9005 running stock rom 4.4.2. Out of sudden all the media on my internal sdcard is not detected i.e songs not detected by jetAudio, videos not detected by MXplayer, and images on QuickPic not detected also. But I can see all my media files still exist and working fine when I access them through any root explorer!!
I tried to fix this issue by fixing permissions of the entire sdcard and tried redo mounting sdcard r/w but nothing helped me. I've no clue how to fix this now.
Did you change something or installed or removed????

Am not sure because I don't really know when was the very moment when this happened. But all the apps that installed now are my regular apps and nothing strange.
Extra details: when showing the hidden files I found several .nomedia files were created in certain folders that contain those media, something created it by someway am not sure. Could it be a virus?
Yet I've deleted all the nomedia files as they already cause the exclusion but unfortunately this also didn't work.

Yes, as this was the first thing I did after the panic of noticing the problem.
I there anyway I could manage to format Sdcard contents without touching the system files?

try to download and run sd scanner or rescan application or something similar from playstore
Hi Guys ,I really need your help!! My samsung Galaxy J5 is not detecting any memory ie Internal and the sd card. It downloads apps through play store but not through browsers. Images and screenshots also do not save and images sent through whatsapp and snapchat do not download. When I go to the file explorer, its says the device storage is empty similar to the sd card. The pc also says they are empty but it shows the amount of memory consumed. I have tried flashing stock firmware via odin but the problem is persisting, factory reset and cache wiping also do not seeem to help..Please ASSIST!!!!!
Did you by any chance installed a different recovery then the stock one?

Re-partition with specific .pit file via odin. And done.

I bought recently a sd card for my s5 g900f, a 32gb sd card produced by chinese company alfawise, it was pretty cheap so i decided to give it a try. Usually i store all my images and music files on my sd card, so i coppied all that to new sd and very soon i got a problem, it started with gallery freeze, the images could not be shown almost 3/5 times when i open gallery, same happens with music, but it does not happen all the time, i can sometimes open all images in gallery and all folders on the sd through the file manager regulary without any problems so i'm asking myself what's happening? Is the sd card broken or what? I will mention that i have done the cache wipe trough the TWRP and cleared cache and data of the gallery app, i even downloaded the third party gallery and the procces is still the same, sometimes i can open my images and music and sometimes i can not, it looks like it's frozen. What causes this?

Sorry i almost forget to mention, another weird thing is that my laptop doesn't recognize when i connect my phone with usb, so i can't flash any other rom...
