Hello, I have my Xperia for 1 week now, and the world smartphones is new for me. If have browse the forum and i just want to give my respect to al the developers that makes it happen.. So i go and look what i have to do to get my ultimate X1.. Thnx guys...!!!

Regarding 16 mil. colours:
Why doesn’t X10 have 16 mil. colours with 2.1? Performance problems? Hardware again?
RS says: Sorry but I don’t know the reason at this time. I guess it could be hardware dependant or due to priorities in resources for development. I’ll see if I can find out.

When they do have a plan - we see delays ... When they do not have plans I suppose it is a clear "no".
So for sure no 16 mil colours and no flash. For multitouch it was clear earlier.

In all honesty, all those answers are like the answers we get from politicians. In other words, they are not answers at all, they are simply evasions.
Update on arabic support from Rikard
I asked him about Arabic support in the coming update, His answer was, i quote,
"I don’t know. I’ve checked my sample here and it doesn’t seem to include Arabic letters at least. But perhaps there could be language additions in the second update, I will try to look into it!"
I have also contacted SE Middle East on their facebook page, they answered that the support for Arabic will be added in November(on old update schedule, i guess). So that may not happens(if it ever happens) until early 2011.
Perhaps we could revive this thread? It would really help a lot of people if you post what Rikard says over here - note, no discussion, just what he posted. Then we don't need to wade through all the 500 comments cursing SE and the spam comments etc

+1. Keep posting and keep this thread towards the front.
ATM, I feel I'm missing two things only... (anything over these would be a bonus)
1. Camera Flash.
2. In-call-volume.
If SE can do something about this, would be really great.

Let's not turn this into another bashing and whining thread about SE. If people understood the facts versus jumping on the misinformation bandwagon they might actually enjoy the X10 experience.

Lol. Yes, since that is working out so well. So far there isn't one post about what Rikard says since September.
That's coz Rikard isn't saying anything. I guess he won't say much about the x10 now that the new phones will be announced next week

Here's an interesting one... what do we think about this logic?

Its quite sad that we had a reverse progress rather than we go up and be stronger, we fall down because of our selfishness.

I totally agree. This community became already a FLAMMING ZONE.
70% are just flamming post only 30% are just useful. At the end of the year people mess this community up.
What happened with dx? been a while since his last update on gdx, i kinda miss him
The best thing we can do is to report troll comments on the forums so that the mods and adms can delete the replys and make this place a more peaceful one, and with some luck, the devs will encourage to continue developing X8!

theres also our great nAa who is still in development of our X8
FXP never leave us,,look at they github,they still update they project for x8.
maybe our "true" devs just silent,and we know 'why' they keep silent.
and look at development thread,to much rom with no dev there,just theming and change launcher people make new thread ^_^ . i'm not say DONT,but we must think; what we have done to post in "DEVELOPMENT"?

The X8 community isn't what it used to be anymore. Our forums are slowly decaying. At the time I signed up, there was a flame of so much interest and willingness to help others. Truthfully, I can't see that flame anymore. This place has been filled up with trolls and many useless post. I myself, was eager to learn and help others when I was able to but I'm not that active anymore. I have grown tired of this

true,am afraid soon thd community will run out of devs too,if this kinda negative atmosophere goes on,
ur rite that earlier there was willingness to help,maybe even learn and teach,but now from wat i see is only flame throwing at each other
I have made a petition to sony for them to release the latest rom/sources for ICS (be it beta or whatever) for the Xperia Play So that the dev's here can try to work on a stable release for the members here who aren't that worried about bad gaming performance

Yes, I feel a lot could be done by releasing newer sources for the ICS. Please everyone- Stand up and voice your opinion here or on Sony's website so we continue development.
