Got my streak on friday the phone is fab. ... the only concern I have is when I'm on the phone the earpiece creaks when I press the top bit it seems to be slightly loose? Or is it me worrying? Still within 14 days

i am on my 4th dell streak. like the phone even with 1.6 but when i get a phone call the screen locks and unable to answer tried everything any ideas
yeah I had that happen to me yestetday too, no idea how or why because right nefore the call I was using my streak to send a text and had just locked it. im running steves 1.6

LOL there are over 20 posts with the exact same thing. You need need to recalibrate ur screen, i had the same problem. Its not that ur screen is frozen its that the phone can't recognize your touch since it been in your pocket.

Hey there, ive had my arc for about 2-3 days now, love it so far everything works perfect but today i noticed that my menu button has a creak to it sometimes when i press it a certain way ( say a little bit off the centre of the button)
..is this normal?..does anybody else have a similar problem with the same if not a diff button?..
I don't have the creaky button but i do have the battery cover creak. Maybe it's because it's brand new when the button will be more used they'll stop creak...

i hope so, since i just noticed it today a couple hours ago.. very annoying.
not 100% sure, but mine does creak when I press it off centre.. however I think the noise is the sound of my thumb 'sliding' along the button?

My wife's having an issue where calls through the earpiece are hard to hear. You can hear an ambient sort of noise which sounds like its at normal volume but callers on the other end sound very quiet. She has resorted to putting every call on speaker to hear. Her mt4g is stock, non-modified/rooted. Any idea what the problem could be, or what I could try fix it? I tried searching, but the search on the mobile app isn't as easy to use as the full site.

Well this should be in Q&A but it sounds like hardware. Has she dropped in water or any other liquid? If not and you bought from tmo you should have a warranty to cover a replacement

I bought it 2nd hand a month ago, so no chance of warranty replacement through tmo. Was hoping there'd be a fix available without having to wipe the phone. The water indicator is still white and there doesn't seem to be any physical damage.

Towards the top of my phone I have a spot where it will not register touch. It is not at the very top, like I have seen on other threads, but about an inch down. I suspect it is because of water damage, but I am not positive. The indicator on the battery is normal though. I tried using touchscreen booster but that did not fix it.
Any thoughts on what to do?
Had the same problem, called AT&T and 3 days later had a new one..

i have the same problem, i think it got wet and it doesnt work all the time. it is like half an inch long dead zone right under the volume down button

was yours because of water damage, if so, youd be charged by insurance for a replacement?
I got my nexus 7 today only started using it past 30 mins as I've been in work the screen looks good doesn't look washed out but does t look as good as my nexus s doesn't bother me one thing that does tho is when I press on left side of screen it makes some sort of click but I can't see the screen lifted or anything as people have said.... no distorted mic too

That is an extremely difficult read since you didn't use any punctuation. If you don't feel comfortable opening the device up to check the screws then RMA it.
Really sorry , easier when I use my PC first post from my nexus 7. The clicking went but I found out its the selotape that they cover the board with so it is the sponge as some people have said. I tightened the screws and screen feels the same as my right side now
