need help!!
my cingular8125 stucked in splash screen. however, it can still goes into bootloader mode.
when it is turned on, it only shows these informations:
ipl 2.26
spl 2.26
gsm 2.xx.x
os??? (no information)
some rom problem occurs i guess..
when i tried to flash it with other rom. i go to bootloader mode. connect usb but it doesn't connect in activesync. so i get an error when i start ruu.exe.
is it possible to flash rom on my wizard without using activesync?
or using sd card?
is there a dumped rom so i can flash rom using sd card?
any solutions??
need any dumped rom for my wizard..
SOLVED MY OWN PROBLEM:
for those having the same problem here's how i solved mine..
some things may not necessarily needed..
but these steps worked for me:
first thing first:
download a mtty.exe, if you got a zip extract it somewhere..
get a working wizard, or if your wizard can still backup your image you can..
since in my splash screen os onformation doesn't show up anymore.. sd rom backup on my wizard stucked in bootloader mode didn't work out for me.
so i get another working wizard running in cracing's wm6.5 you can get os images on any cooked rom you want..
1.) kill task manager first on your phone. if your'e using activesync 4.5 go to connections and untick the checkbox for "allow usb connections"
2.) go to bootloader mode (turn off the phone/remove battery then hold camera while powering on)
3.) connect usb you'll see little indication on your lower left part of your screen "usb"
4.) run mtty.exe
5.) choose //wceusbsh001
6.) then type "r2sd all" then enter
7.) you'll see a loading bar on your in your bootloader screen so you can see its progress..
8.)turn off the phone. enter bootlader mode. will ask you if you want to copy images on your sd.
9.) hold voice dial button(upper right-side corner of your phone ) and writing will begin
10.) when its done poweroff and on normally and your wizard is back to business..
cheers!!!

TyphoonNBFTools: http://w1.whatcounter.com/dlcount.p...yphoonNBFTools_0.3_SPL1010064_SPVServices.zip
Any Official Rom (I used I-Mate SP3 WWE).
A Typhoon running Windows Mobile 5.0.
Reverting Back:
Run TyphoonNBFTools and Open the SPL1010064.nbf. Right click on SPL in the bottom part of the screen and choose Emergency Flash. If this is the first time you have used the program you will get a prompt on your phone to run the runtimes. Choose yes. Click OK to flash the new bootloader to your phone. Next disable Activesync by turning off USB connections. Turn off your phone. While holding down the Camera button insert the USB cable, the phone should run the bootloader and you will be presented with the tri-color screen. It should say USB in the bottom corner. Now run Mtty and choose USB connection. Hit enter in the blank white space. You should now see Cmd>. Type "info 2" without the quotes. You should see some information about your phone. Next type "format BINFS" agains without the quotes. This one is case sensitive. You should see format complete or something along those lines. Now close Mtty and re-enable USB connections. Run the exe from the update you downloaded and follow the instructions. Your phone should now boot back up to WM2003.
For those stuck in bootloader mode you will need to run mtty and reflash the wm5.bin to the phone then follow the steps above.

Man! Can't thank you enough for this. I took my phone to the service centre, willing to pay for the repair, and they could not do it. Every thing works fine now. Very good manual, clear instructions and correct info!
THANKS!
Hi
I Am Trying To Follow The Procedure Mentioned. But When I Right Click On Spl I Am Not Getting 'emergency Flash' Active.
Can U Please Assist Me Regarding This
You need TyphoonNBFTools.dll installed on your phone. Try running TyphoonNBFTools and selecting Tools->Immediate Flash Tools->Test Immediate Flash. It should automatically install the required stuff for you. Check you phone when you run the program. You should get a prompt to installed a program from unknown publisher. Make sure to choose yes.
Stuck in bootloader
Just trying to do this following my question here.
I though it was going well but I have a major problem now! I managed to do the emergency flash, but every time I boot I just get the tricolour bootloader screen (IPL 1.00, SPL 1.01.0064) and can't get any further. Any ideas please? I have tried using mtty to load wm5.bin but get the error "MTTYDownloadImageNot allow operation!"
I have also tried re-doing the "format BINFS" and doing the above again but still no joy.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!
maybe u need to make a "goldcard"
my feeler (o2 xphoneII) lives again after flash with goldcard.
I can't find a way to create one for Typhoon, can you point me in the right direction?
I try flash Amadeus = Qtek 8100 with UpdateTool from Qtek 8310.
Update process stopped at 74% , and UpdateProgramm closed.
Now my Qtek 8100 not Powered ON , and can't enter in boot mode (tricolor screen) with "Camera" button hold + USB cable conneting.
PC don't see any USB devices when I connected my Qtek 8100 to USB port.
I think I erased Boot loader in my Qtek 8100 (but not sure).
Is any method for repair ?
WBR !

Hi,
I tried a new rom and now am stuck at the bootloader with no OS on the phone.
ipl 2.10.0001
spl 2.10.0001
gsm 02.69.21
os 4.0.0.0
I have searched all the forums and still cannot get my spvm600 to do anything. I have tried to run several roms but the problem is they cant see the phone as activesync wont connect. is there a way i can boot from the sdcard or somthing or do i have a expensive paperweight. when i try to hold down the camera and comms keys on start it asks me to format the device and then says doen and goes back to the above screen
anyone?
ideas?
Try to restart your device and deliberatly go to boot loader (keep camera button in) (keep usb disconnected).
once at boot loader screen connect usb cable ... you should now see "usb" in bottom left corner on device screen.
now run a wm5 rom like in step 1 of "how to upgrade from WM5 to WM6" thread - - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452.
it worked for me!
every rom i try to install on it needs activesync to connect to it but activesync douesnt connect to it as the phone has been formatted. there must be a way to fix it but but i am totally stuck
Rom Upgrade doesnt need Active Sync, you just need to be in bootloader and have the usb cable connected. Then just go through the update utility.
I try that and it still seems to say no device connected would you like to try copying again. I cant understand it cause it makes that bling noise when i plug it in
Use Update_NOID
You must use the No_ID Updater to upload a ROM from the 3 colour screen. Just run this exe file and you should not have any problems.
Hi,
Please help, I too have the same problem. Installed all the versions but no use. Can any one help me how to downgrade to Original German ROM version for Neo. So that I can return to O2 company... otherwise this become expensive paper weight

the no id rom worked a treat.
xtrafletch thanks a million!!
Hi there,
My phone has recently started to cause problems, it gets stuck at the boot screen for WM Black Dymond, then won't go any further.
I have tried to update to Hard-SPL V7, then flash my ROM to the newer WM Black Satin, but ActiveSync won't even detect my device in the boot loader, even though it knows theres USB connectivity, ActiveSync just won't detect it.
Also, if i go into my PC's Device Manager, under the "Windows CE USB Devices" i can see "HTC USB Sync"
So i am not sure what is going on and why ActiveSync won't work.
Any ideas?
If this information is of any use, heres whats on my boot loader screen.
HERMS100
IPL-1.01
HERMS100
SPL-1.11
Update-
I have tried to install Black Satin without ActiveSync syncronization, it gets to 1% and then the phone reboots and the utility says image file is corrupted.
download "satin" again. check out wiki for Black roms. should find site from there. Also if you wanna try without computer to upgrade, try sd card. format sd card to fat 32, copy ruuimage.nbh. rename to hermimg.nbh. put in phone. go to bootloader and follow the prompts. I find MUCH SAFER than through usb. Make sure you have more than 50% battery. Should be no probs.. Happy flashing...
Ps satin is an older rom now, you should check out some of the newer ones... Pays, Schapps, TNT and Pandora's to name a few.
Activsync won't recognise your device in bootloader, that's normal. You should still be able to flash via usb though. Check out this guide:

Your device is okay. You can already proceed to flashing any ROM that is desgined for SPL 1.2. If you want just a good looking ROM, you might want to try PK3.0 ROM. If you want WM6.1, try irus ROM.
If I'm you, I'll skip any rom that uses SPL3.5 for the time being until you're sure there is a mean to come back to SPL 1.2. This mean you should skip AP4.0 for the time being.
To flash one of the SPL1.2 based ROM, remove your storage cards and SIM cards, and ensure your battery is close to full. Then get into Bootloader mode (by pressing down the Camera and poke into the reset hole - hold it down for a good few seconds until you see the tr-colored screen). Then connect your cable until you see USB on the device screen. Then on your PC, start the RomUpdateUtility program and follow the instruction on the PC.
Good luck.
Thx, man! U Rock!!
Just flash the phone with PK3.0 Rom~
Hi everyone...
I've tried to cid unlock my artemis but I wasn't able to do it...
any clues?
When I trie to install a rom (oficial Portuguese 3.14) it gives me Invalid vendor ID...
What could I been doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
i had trouble cid unlocking my artemis, i dont know what i did but i done it, this is what i did tho.lol
download Uspl - mine came with these cab files so i installed them on the phone.
''Cert_SPCS''
''EnableRapi''
link to pc and get active sync connection.
run ''start_uspl'' (on pc which opens a dos screen)
phone screen will go off into white or black screen.
(should see a penguin)
after that ''ROMUpdateUtility'' will automaticy start.
*cant remember if you need soft reset or not - think you do so active sync is enabled again, try with and without soft reset!
click through untill it starts to update, your phone will go into bootloader mode showing a usb connection. it will automaticly go into a gray screen with a loading bar.
SPL;1.11.0000 should now be displayed at boot
if this does not work try hard reset on phone and reinstall active sync on pc.
use uspl cmon to flash any rom..
spl 1.11.cmon
