HOTMAIL and NEW ROM

1) when I connect on hotmail from Pocket MSN mobile it happens that automatically it donwloads all the emails stored in the folders (that I use as archive) and only the new emails in INBOX folder....my archive is a lot of mega O_O I would like that the mobile shows me only the new email in INBOX nothing else...is it possible?
2) I have installed the new room from I-mate...it works great but unfortunately it installed so many software i don't need....if I repeat the same process and restart t he mobile before it automatically install the newsoftware is it ok? I'm afraid that in the Ext rom there are some soft used to make the new rom stable or to fix problems.....what do u think?

i have noticed this as well, has anyone found a solution that allows all emails to be downloaded instead of just the inbox folder. I use folders to filter some of the emails i recieve...

found out how to download all other emails in windows live when syncing! go in to the wml messaging,click menu, tools, manage folders. then tick all the folders you want to sync. hope this helps some other people!

Poket outlook problem

Hi to all,
i have a prob with poket outlook on my tytn ( rom ver. 1.18.258.2 wm5 5.1.195 build 14955.2.3.0 hermes 200 ).
Poket outlook is not working at all , no mail , no sms , no mms . in some case the program doesn't start , in some it try start but freeze or cause device to hang or other program to response slowly .
It seem to not receive sms ( no notify in the upper bar of the device ) .
I tried the hard reset but still the same prob.
The sim work properly
The other programs on the device are working properly .
Also done a scan with an antivirus ( mobile F-secure )
I found this problem after tryng installing tom tom ...
Please HELP!!!!

Me too, the shortcut doesnt launch mail app, cannot send sms or access email.
For me personally i think its something to do with sktools or memmaid cleaning something it shouldnt have, or i've recently installed ilauncher
Hope someone can help us both

Messaging Glitch - FIX
I have had similar problems to this and found it was due to the Pocket Outlook database being corrupt. Please look up my post in the following thread:

It has an attachment called cleanmail.zip that will completely recreate your Pocket Outlook database. Extract the .CAB file and copy to your phone and run by clicking on it in File Explorer.

i found the one called cleanmail 2.06.exe only , not sure if it's the same but
not working for me ... can't open outlook or sometimes it start open and freeze.

Someone know what files are involved in this problem ? there is a way to reinstall files copying them from another tytn ?
Or there is a way to complete reinstall the operating system wm5 assuming that an hard reset ( i tryed 3 times ) did not solved the Poutlook problem ?.
I explain better the problem : starting 'MESSAGE' the app won't open or sometime i can see the word 'message ' in the upper bar and 'new' and 'menu' in the bottom bar but background stays to ' today' screen . NEW and MENU seem working but can't see or send any message type ...
Some other times Poutlook freeze , i can see it started in MEMORY>RUNNING APPS but impossible to close ( must turn off the device or softreset )

I'm partially fixed the problem : i'm tryng FLEXMAIL 2007 for wm5 trial version , after installing it's completely integrated into operating system , manage email and sms ( no mms ) and it's much more better than pocket outlook . No need pocket outlook anymore
I suggest to try it to completely replace corrupted pocket outlook ...

installing apps

hi everyone
just wandering if anyone can help , ive just got an htc hd2 very pleased with the phone but ive got one small prob , after finding this website and others for apps and such , when i try installing them on my phone by running the cab file , the phone seems to start installing , but the screen goes blank and then nothing , when i press the end key the quit opera sign comes up , then thats it nothing , so i havent managed to install anything yet , really getting frustrating , can anyone advise

have u tried downloading the cab file on ur pc n then transferring it across to ur phone then open phone explorer n click on the cab file and select location for install hope that helps

yeah ive tried that m8, i download to pc , transfer it to the phone then ran the cab file and nothing , i even downloaded skyfire on my phone to see if that worked and nothing , im getting annoyed with it now , i got this phone thinking i coud put things on it , but its not happening

yeah the rom is 1.66.405 , just tried another , and the screen just went white with an icon in the bottom corner , when you tap icon it comes up with the opera browser options , i just exit and thats it , do you just explore the folder where app is installed , then tap the setup file ?
doin my head in now

i put the cab file on my hpone select in to install it the says select location to install phone or card it installs it says succesful then normally appears on tthe start menu try hard reset or a new rom

Are you opening opera? there should be no reason opera is opened when you do this. Are you using file explorer to find the cab file, then clicking it?

i use file explorer to find file , then i tap the setup file then opera seems to launch , the only reason i do that is the screen goes blank with the up icon in the corner , and when i tap that and exit it says do you want to exit opera ? i just dont whats goin on with it ? any ideas

Are you successfully connecting to activesync on your PC? You need to have activesync installed on your pc to transfer and install the cabs.

so i cant just put the files on the phone then run them from there , they have to be run from active sync ? coz im not sure how to do that ?

I have problem when i try to send a mail with attachment ( file type ). When i choice insert->file dialog box is open and device is start searching for files ( all files ). This process take some time ( very long, long time ). Does anybody know possibility to change path where outlook start to check for files to make search time short ?

I find it easier to use File Explorer to locate the file I want to send first, then tap and hold with the stylus, and select SEND..... this should bring up an option box which will include MMS and your email service name (whether that be Exchange or Yahoo or GMail etc.), select the email service you want to use, this will automatically attach the file and open a blank email for you.

[Q] Hebrew letter not recognized on HD2

Hi,
On my HD2, the hebrew characteres are not recognized in SMS (reading) and are displayed as question mark. Only when the text is in graphic mode the letters are displayed.
Also the writing direction in some application (RTL) isn't applyed.
HD2_HebrewEnable_v1.0 doesn't work
I want to keep my HTC Sense in English. That's my main condition.
Any solutions?

I had the same problem in reading Armenian, Square caracters were displayed ,so here what I did,will may be also help you.
-In the Fonts folder on your PC W7 find the 2 folders called TAHOMA.TTF and TAHOMABD.TTF(about 620-680 KB each),copy them to your HD2 SD Card,from there with the Resco Explorer Copy&Paste them to your Phones Windows Directory,when asked replace them and reboot.Just dont forget to unhide the files in the Resco explorer.you can later delete the old 2 TAHOMA files from the Windows directory(about 280KB each)
