Hi can someone please help, My XDA 11 won't charge, or make any connection in it's dock, can someone tell me where I can get it repaired, Thanks a lot ,
Try taking it to any O2 shop, they have a special device for quick charging the battery without going through the XDA. It happened to mine a while ago i thought the battery was dead so went to get a replacement, but they put my battery in this charging unit and it came back to life :?
re not charging
Hi, thanks for your advice, but I don't think that the problem is with the battery, as i have a spare battery and have charged the battery in the aux/battery charger in the dock so both batterys are fully charged, the problem is with the connector to the mother board at the bottom of my pda, so it won't connect to my computure, Activesync, or charge, but i'll call in to the O2 shop and see what they have to say..... Thanks. :?
Hi all, I recently bought a second hand Exec without a battery
I don't want to buy a battery if the unit is faulty (there is a chance) If I plug the charger into the socket all I get is a red light
My question to all you Exec owners is- is this normal or should/will the unit work without the battery present.
Thanks in advance Grez
Hi grez
U need a batery to operate the exec when i take my battery out the same thing happens.
Hope this helps
Hi scotjen1,
To double check, if you remove the main battery and plug the charger in all you get is a red light. The unit will not power on using mains only.
If this is the case I will risk buying a battery.
Thanks for your help.

Hi.
I haven't used my old Qtek 9100 for about one year, but now I need it again.
I connected the device to the charger and to the USB cable, but it doesn't power on and it doesn't charge.
I tried with another battery too.
What can I do to solve the problem?
What's happens?
Thank you very much for your help!
Bye.
I had the same problem , search around a bit you will find a thread about jump starting a battery with 3 aa size batteries. Good luck
Hi there...
First of all I would like to say hello to everybody coz this is my first post here.
My problem about the battery of my ipaq 614c it's really strange; I don't know if it's relative to the upgrade to WM6.5 but since I've done it I can't charge it through both usb and charger when it's turned on. When I connect the cable to the device the orange light only appear for a while without charging it.
Another strangeness is that the battery bar on ipaq is always at 100%..
Anyone's know if it's a battery problem?? What else could it be?
Thanks in advance.

I think your new battery is bad quality, or may not be original to
HTC Herald, Wing, P4350
you should try to look at http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=battery for Htc Wing&_sacat = See-All-Categories
I know the price is $ 6.90 (free shipping)
try to clean the terminals of your charger or the usb port of your phone with a dry tooth brush and an acetone, you must remove the battery before doing this ok.... and wait for the acetone to dry and plug your new battery in,
if that didnt work, try to shock your new battery using an adapter, put it on 12v dc and put the positive wire on the positive terminal of your battery and ofcourse the negative on the negative pole....
the new battery has no charge left. it is in total drain.... you need to kick in a small amount of charge in it by doing the shock....
Same problem !
My new battery does not charge on Herald.
BUT... my Herald battery, and the new one, DO CHARGE fine and well when inserted in my Kaiser.
Also, Kaiser batteries don't charge in the Herald.
So, I thought my Herald has something which recognizes its only and official battery and does not accept any one. Or my Kaiser does not have this and accepts any battery.
Any trick / suggestion ?
THANKS !!
