Android restarting, green screen and white screen help! - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello Xda!
I recently used this forum to install Android on my HTC HD2 UK Vodafone.
It all went pretty smoothly after i realised you needed to update the radio to get it working properly. It's worked pretty fine for nearly a week till this morning, i was updating apps then all of a sudden my phone restarted, so i tried to boot back into android and its basically been doing the same all day. It will either boot up into the loading screen and keeps repeating that with a green screen for a quick second between each loading screen and then ends up with a white screen.
I have tried pretty much everything i can think of, only thing i havn't tried is changing the android build as i did like the one i was using. I have formatted the SD card, re-downloaded the android build, changed zImages etc etc but still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

HD2 frreezing at boot

I hope there havent been threads for this kind of problem, I searched but couldnt find anything.
I recently flashed "Duttys_Leo_Sense_2.5_5.2.21889.5.0.87_1.66_Multi_Lang_V1.5_GER" onto my HD2.
after some rearranging of startmenu shortcuts I realized I couldnt add shortcuts to the sense home tab anymore, so I turned my HD2 off and on on again (first time after flash and yes I did hardreset after the flash)
To my horror the device would hang at the first splash screen where the 3 lines of red text are displayed.
After several attempts to boot it up with taking out the battery and putting it back in, my HD2 now suddenly did a hardreset when I was just turning it on the normal way.
This has ever since happened every time the HD2 is completely shut down.
I dont think its a bad rom since I havent heard anything bad about it and I dont know what else could be the problem.
Help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance
haveyou flashed a few roms? because roms are all slightly different lengths sometimes there will be files left over when a new rom is flashed, which can cause instability in the new flash.
go have a read of the mtty thread in rom development. basically a way to format the rom space before flashing.

Mytouch cant return to cupcake help

hey everyone got a problem with my mytouch3g
I already had the Cyanogenmod 4.2.15.1 working perfectly fine
then I installed the RC30 mod v1.2

Restarted again and again still stuck.
I tryed reinstalling CyanogenMod didnt do anything same problem
I wiped my data.
I formatted my microSD(FAT32) its a sandisk but it worked perfect before so im sure its not an SD problem
Now im trying to revert my phone back to cupcake using SAPPIMG.nbh
it loads up reads the image go through and gets stuck updating RADIO_V2 the red progress bar on top is like 99%
any ideas on how to get my phone working again?

[Q] Problems with installing AmericanDroid & Mskip AL

So I tried to install Mskip AL v6 and AmericanDroid for a dual boot system.
The installation seemed to go fine (my radio was fine, and was going from the stock tmob ROM), I launched the HATRED and CLRAD within WM, I selected the options I wanted for the loader, it performed the restart and the screen went to black with the green HTC logo.
It never went any further than that.
I left it for an hour, still no change. I pulled the battery, and restarted the phone.
I got bunch of errors about tray.app not being able to start, and then some about trusted certificates.
SO I try to install again, and can't install anything, because I get the trusted cerificates/or one of the components missing etc.
Can anyone help?!?!
I've tried the security disable cabs on here, but they can't be installed due to the above problem.
Does the phone need to be unlocked first? Do I need to install something else first like HSPL?
And before anyone suggests it, no I don't want to go full NAND yet as I want to be able to check out Android on the hd2 before making the full jump.
Thanks!
Mskip loader has nothing to do with your problem, it just simplifies running clrcad and haret from android folder (which you can do by yourself from file manager),
the black screen with htc logo means the AmericanDroid loading started, then something stops (don't know what) - I'd suggest checking this thread for possible clues,

Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 Install ROM loading issues. Help please

G'day all,
Hoping someone can help. (firstly I've searched on here over and over and some things have really helped, but can't find this issues on here)
Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 (originally with Vodafone rom)
Back story, I managed to put google rom via WINTEAM at some point in time (I don't recall how I did this now) this file - crdroid-6.0.0-20151208-jfltexx.zip (I still have this but not a md5 file)
Anyway, I wiped it under settings and basically stuffed it right up. Loops on WINTEAM (this part I had found in search and downloaded Odin3 v3.13) and Samsung Rom and a couple of others.
I9505XXUHOJ3_I9505VAUHOJ1_I9505XXUHOJ3_HOME.tar.md5
I9505XXUHQK1_I9505MAXHQK1_I9505XXUHQK1_HOME.tar.md5
I9505XXUHOL3_I9505TELHOL2_I9505XXUHOL3_HOME.tar.md5
CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar.md5
The last one actually fixed up the google install but was hoping to place the original Samsung ROM back on and now it doesn't help at all when I run again.
The top 3 are Vodafone, Telstra and Max a forum had suggested (from a page on here somewhere). All of these say pass in Odin3 when installing onto phone. But once it gets to the Samsung with what looks like dots shooting out from the word it never gets past this at all.
When I power up the S4 phone, to get to download screen. I have volume up to download or volume down to restart phone. Some places I've read say to select wipe, I don' t have this option at all.
I saw an option to install s8 rom to s4 which I would like to do, but the how to do that requires working software first and install TWRN or something like that.
I'm not sure if this will run fast or ok on this phone, but it isn't a MD5 file either.
I would like Samsung ROM back on as it (for me cleaner than google or maybe just what I've been used to). I'd like to give to my youngest child as their first phone.
I also had tried to place zip files and also unzipped files on the SD card on the phone, nothing worked for me as it looks like it is expected ODIN3 to work.
At this stage of the day, I would just like to have it functioning again with anything that works.
Any advice on what to do now would be greatly appreciated, also I'm truly sorry if this problem has been documented, I really did try to do my research first before putting this up here. I've been on this for weeks now
So quick update. through more research, I have managed to install TWRP and now have access to additional utilities through WINTEAM. I've now tried to install ROM through the Micro SD card.
I think it comes up with a mount error, but has rebooted and still stuck so can confirm just yet.
I've managed to go through the entire process of installing the PurifieD+ROM+v3.5.zip through the micro SD card in the phone. Asked me about all the options etc during the install. There didn't appear to be any errors at all. Asked to reboot. etc....
I even had sound on the bootup, Now I have the Samsung word on the main screen with a blue backlight just flashing. Been like that for nearly 10 minutes. Not looking good.
Have I got bad memory or am I doing something wrong?
I managed to do a wipe after I did an install and it booted up find. I had no WiFi but than installed the vodafone install that should be the original and all works now.
The amount of time I had been working on this, I really didn't think I was going to get it going. I honestly thought I had some hardware error going on.
In the end it runs now, I can setup and had to my child
so I've managed to now use several different ROMs but now I can't root the phone (it should be able to, has been before)
When I run Motochopper I get this error
error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported.
Seems to happen no matter what rom I've installed. I can't seem to find an older rom running android version 5.01 now
Any help on how to root this. Would be great
Now says it has been rooted, but I do not get the teamwin boot menu option at all. more like just a text style menu for wiping and loading other roms.

i9506 crashes with blue screen

Hi, I've had a S4 LTE for over a year, tried quite a few different roms on it and eventually settled for Diamond John's RR 5.8.5 version. This was working more or less okay until a few weeks ago when the phone crashed during some activity with that blue screen thing.
After that I could not start the rom properly again, it always either boot loops or displays the blue screen. I then tried reinstalling the rom, other roms, bootloader and eventually the stock rom but it still behaves the same - crashes, bootlops and/or blue screen.
I think I did follow the recommended procedures, ie wiping everything, starting from scratch and using appropriate files but can't be 100% sure since I'm not an Android wiz. Hence my question: do you think there is something else I can try to recover this phone or does this look like hardware failure?
Thanks in advance
