hi guy's i have Asus P505
and i got big problem
cab files are not working at all
the device cant read them
and as all of u know all programs are in .cab format
plzzzzz i need solution

What error are you getting (if any)? You're a bit too vague and need to explicitly state your problem.

this error message is tooken form my phone !!
and i have even tried .exe programs
when the setup get to the step when it should sends cab file to the phone and install it i get the same error.

This is borderline ridiculous with you!
What device??? I assume Diamond since it's in your sig, but I could be wrong.
What cabs are you trying to install?
How are you trying to install them?
Take a screenshot would you!

i've said in the first post its asus p505
and i really cant use any screenshot program coz no cabs accepted
but i can take a shot of that from my diamond's camera if that could help
and all cabs are getting me to the same error any program any hack any update any anything !
and the ways to install them i have tried two
send the cab file to the phone via BT and try to install it there
or trying exe programs from computer and i still get the same error when it gets to the part which computer sends cab file to the phone and try to install it
my phone seems like doesn't know how to open cab files (like when u try to open rar file when u dont have winrar)

Have you tried redownloading the cab file from a different website? It may be that the cab is corrupted.

its possible that your device is a bit dated, which might explain why nothing is working. Your device runs wm2003 se, right?

Anyone managed to get the VR Hologram working on the HD. I had it installed on my Omnia. Was quite good. How cool would it look on the HD's huge screen!

I find I have to delete and replace HTCAPI.dll after a soft reset, is this just me or is everyone experiencing this?

Me too. I have to copy dll file every time I reset my phone.

how to zoom on hd?!
on diamond zooming is with central cirlce button....

im in the same boat mate dont worry lol

You copy it there on your device with PocketPC applications such as Resco Explorer (commercial) or Total Commander (free).

Move it to your storage card, then unplug your computer, open file explorer, navigate to your storage card and cut/copy* the file, navigate to your windows folder and paste it there**
*Click and hold on the item and select cut or copy
**Go to menu > edit > paste

I thought it would harm the device...

[HINT] Using Myriad JAVA taken from SE X2

Maybe a couple of you are like me not really satisfied with the integrated JBlend. It doesn't create shortcuts, looks bad etc. ...
For me the Java-client of the SE Xperia X2 did solve that problem. You can load it here: *KLICK* (Post 2)
Install it and if you're not using WWE-Rom then do the following changes within the registry:

Do a softreset and install any midlets you want. Shortcuts will be created by default (see my screen). With this JAVA-client it is also possible to run midlets in Landscape mode (2nd screen) - added Opera Mini to rotation support with BsB-Tweak.

If you want to open your midlets that are already installed on your device then go to Windows/java and simply click all the *.jar-files within that folder. They will now automatically install with the new JAVA-suite.

I downloaded the java from your link and installed it. however, I can't seem to find it in the list of programs. How do I access the new java engine? I am using WWE ROM.

As I said you have to reinstall your installed Midlets (can be found in Windows/java, *.jar-files). Then shortcuts will be created in your start menu. To see a list of all installed Midlets go to Settings (Wm6.5, not Sense), System and click on "Java".

ok story so far, removed myriad installed opera mini 5 beta 2 worked ok
reinstalled myriad this time to device reset then reinstalled opera , this time it worked but its working on jblend still how do i get it on myriad
also shortcut on start menu always reinstalls it

I have installed this on my Xperia X1, though when I try to run a file for Example: "Jbenchmark3D" it comes up with a message saying "could not start the JBenchmark3D application"
Any ideas what could be wrong? the icons for each app shows up in my programs list, they just done run (when I try they show the message above)

hey i tried to install myriad java on my omnia i8000 running winmo 6.1 official rom but it says "either it is not signed with a trusted certificate certificate error or one of the component cannot be found. try reinstalling." can u please upload the extracted jbed.exe in ur \windows dir please . . . . thank you.

I would like to know how can we change the fonts size in Myriad Java? In Esmertec Jbed, we could edit the fonts via registry tweaks, but I have not found similar tweak for Myriad Java. Anyone knows how?

i have some problems on my friends htc tatoo
i dont know what he didi,but the phone locked after start up and wanted to sign in whit my google account to unlock!
but i cant access setting to set connection setting for internet
and icant connect with wi-fi network because the phon is lock and i cant turn wi-fi on!
i cant acces recovery menu because the phone wasent rooted and flashed any recovery menu
no nandroid back up exist!
so my friends tatoo just turn on and off and i cant do any thing with it!
even i cant change the rom
if somebody knows please guide me

note : in pictures the simcard wsent inserted ,but if i insert the simcard, its still the same!

I even tried factory reset (while phone is off - press Menu+Back+TurnOn) but nothing happens.

You can flash the official rom again if you cannot wipe. Running the RUU utility, take the rom.zip from user's temp folder and rename it to CLIKIMG.zip
Then copy it to root of sdcard and reboot to fastboot. I don't remember the key compinations, but you can find them if you search the stickies of this forum.

i done it for now,and the screen lights is on and off repetitive and it takes until i pushed the buttons,then when i release the menu+back keys,the phone boots and still the same problem

I can't help you if you don't know what rom you have. You can try them though, if is they aren't suitable the didn't flash.
You must run RUU utility from pc, and will extract the rom.zip file in your temp folder.
You can access fastboot if you power off the device and hold volume down and power button. After that in fastboot you can flash the rom pushing the volume down key.

i tried the version RUU_Click_HTC_Asia_WWE_SEA_1.67.728.8_release_signed_NoDriver
from the link in my previouse post,
nothing was extarcted ! its begining to update rom just from pc to phone!
i installed htc synce for android devices it first and fortunately the phone was found by pc!during it was in lock screen!
i did run the update file and its begining to flash the phone
atlast the phone flashed and the new version startig up

your phone does not have full file System excess.
you need to flash another csc file ( there is a thread about this here on the forums)

@tyler200298: The only things I know of that can cause that behavior are either doing the full FS hack wrong (changing the MTP folder's root directory without changing the MTP service's user account) or failing to reboot after making the change (the reboot is required for the change to the account to take, it seems). If you've already rebooted, try doing so again!

I called it hr
Now i did it another time and now it works
But after first reset cortana starts but dont answer to questions.

Hello everyone,
I didn't understand if this tweak lets me set quiet hours ONLY when cortana is enabled (with language US and country US set) or if I can copy the files of the folder leaving my stock language and country (IT-ITA) in my phone.
In this case the tweak should enable cortana without changing anything?

Quiet hours work on my german CV Lumia 1020 with all settings set to german. Has anyone with File System Access managed to get Cortana really working in other regions than US/UK/CN? With Speech and search available?
