hi guy's i have Asus P505
and i got big problem
cab files are not working at all
the device cant read them
and as all of u know all programs are in .cab format
plzzzzz i need solution

this error message is tooken form my phone !!
and i have even tried .exe programs
when the setup get to the step when it should sends cab file to the phone and install it i get the same error.

What device??? I assume Diamond since it's in your sig, but I could be wrong.
What cabs are you trying to install?
How are you trying to install them?
Take a screenshot would you!

i've said in the first post its asus p505

but i can take a shot of that from my diamond's camera if that could help
and all cabs are getting me to the same error any program any hack any update any anything !
and the ways to install them i have tried two
send the cab file to the phone via BT and try to install it there
or trying exe programs from computer and i still get the same error when it gets to the part which computer sends cab file to the phone and try to install it
my phone seems like doesn't know how to open cab files (like when u try to open rar file when u dont have winrar)

Have you tried redownloading the cab file from a different website? It may be that the cab is corrupted.

[Fix] Arabic Support on your HD2 Droided phone

Note: this was tested on [mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.5] Build
Hello , i've decided to release this fix after reading several requests and questions about this issue and here it is , please make a note those files i have uploaded none of them are from my development it all goes to whoever made them i'm only making your life easier on reading arabic sms and webpage
this thread assumes that you know how adb works if not please search on xda-developers on how to (just install android sdk and the required usb drivers if i see several users don't know how-to ill update my post)
there are 2 files you need to modify on /system/lib/libskia.so ; /system/framework/framework.jar
please backup your 2 files first before doing anything with pull command
adb pull system/framework/framework.jar
adb pull system/lib/libskia.so
install the attached files
adb push (your file location/framework.jar) system/framework/framework.jar
adb push (your file location/libskia.so) system/lib/libskia.so
restart your device and enjoy
PS: if you want to type in with arabic letters (sms) please install from android market:

did you read carefully my first post , it seems you don't know how adb method works please search more its really easy to do this you dont need to copy paste anything adb push and adb pull , please refer to this Topic

I tried this on shubCRAFT_v1.2 with full ram and my phone wont boot up into droid. All I was getting is wall of texts and it wont stop

when i pull that 2 files and restart
it is hang on htc logo so i have to delete it and install the rom again
so can you integrate this Arabic support direct with the room and upload it to us please

I have got the same issue.
As for the localization, download the attachment (newer version), rename it to libskia.so and paste it in your phone '/system/lib/' using the method described above or use DroidExplorer for example

You can also use "Root Explorer", it is available in the Market for free.
Copy the file from your PC to your SD Card, then after you start Android, start Root Explorer & go to SD Card, locate the file (the new "libskia.so", press & hold on it and choose copy. Now go to "system/lib/" and paste it there overwriting the old one (make a back up so you can go back).
I personally used the "libskia.so" file & have Arabic enabled (read & write, not interface). But what is the other file "framework.jar" for?

I created this root and unlock combo modeled after the old iPhone jailbreaks which allowed you to unlock. Technically speaking this is not one click, but it is the single fastest way to do both. If you tried unlocking too many times:
It will then ask you for another code. Enter the unfreeze code that it gives you on the very last screen of the program. Enter that.

Haha I thought you were serious for a minute. Yeah. Well for now its Mac only because PC's do not really handle shell scripts well. I will probably convert it later with the help of someone else but until then its mac only (and if you have linux you can get it to work if u change a few things)

I am assuming that is it. If there is a weird folder with basically nothing in it that is probably a folder that Mac OSX adds to everything that is hidden but shows up on windows.

What are the paths you want incorporated?

After few tries, I've fixed application deployer from SDK 8.1 to sideload xaps with all "restricted" capabilities in the manifest
(he-he, just curious why nobody did it before?)
1) Backup original deployer "AppDeploy.exe" and "Microsoft.Phone.Tools.Deploy.dll" from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v8.1\Tools\AppDeploy" first!
2) Unpack attachment and replace files.
3) Enjoy!
I've tested modified deployer on WPTweaker and WPH Tweak apps, works perfectly.
Cons: I was lazy to add original localization so modified deployer has only English lang.
P.S. Of course to be able sideload apps with "restricted" capabilities your handset must be interop-unlocked

@megasounds, do you have a handset with all capabilities unlocked? You may compare error message from the original 8.1 deployer and modified, messages are different. In case of modified deployer, the error message came directly from phone or (maybe, I'm not sure) from Microsoft.SmartDevice.Connectivity namespace.

Kinda strange 'cause I've tested on my xap downloaded from xda thread (for the test purity).
P.S. BTW, could you try to sideload other "interop-only" apps? (except @GoodDayToDie's WebAccess_AllCapabilities - I don't know how to sideload that app to the handset with "usual interop", not a "sammy" with the custom bits)

Can the coveted tetra lock screen app 1.2.0.0 finally be deployed? I'm currently on winmo 10 and can't test lol

That's about half my fault and half Microsoft's; the AllCapabilities version of the webserver includes *all* the capabilities that were usable by a third-party app in 8.0 (even if they aren't necessarily used for anything). Microosft removed some of those in 8.1. This results in trying to install an app that requires capabilities which the OS doesn't even understand.
Workaround is to remove capabilities from the app's manifest until it installs. Alternatively, use the normal-caps version (or another registry browser) to see all the available capabilities - they're under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SecurityManager\Capabilities) - and remove the ones in the app's manifest that aren't supported.
I'm really sorry for not updating the app in so bloody long. I got stuck on some really huge set of changes for it that aren't working right yet, and then I got swept up in another project altogether, and that + life generally being busy (travel, girlfriend, day job, you know the drill) has meant I've been neglecting that app. I need to switch back to the stable branch, fix the capabilities, and release a trivial update. I'll try to do that as soon as possible (but my dev PC is temporarily dead, so I'll need to use my laptop, and I've got plans with friends tonight... again, you get the idea). Sorry again.

I've changed slightly AppDeploy (forgot to add app icon in the initial post ); also added decompiled sources (in case someone want to improve/add own localization - but my 2¢ - don't waste you time )

Removed ID_CAP_SOUND_CONTROL in "WMAppManifest.xml"

Thanks finally they enabled vowifi for my carrier but treble is not supported

OK thanks will try I did downlad directly from xperifrm but that resulted the same too. Others have also had the issue on the newflasher thread. Will try without the partition folder. Also the folder wasnt empty I checked it.

Deleting the folder worked! The only issue I had after is that it said my data became corrupt. It had a decrypting issue. It forced me to do a factory reset and I didnt care too much about my data so I did it. Then it said it had to encrypt took like 10 seconds then I was able to boot. All worked after that so it seems like there was an issue woth the partition folder. Not sure what it could be thought but your solution workes. Thanks.

I have never flashed an official update before, I've only ever flashed ROMs on TWRP on my previous phones till now. I'm downloading your 2.7GB file. What do I need to delete before flashing?
