Hello everybody,
Maybe a couple of you are like me not really satisfied with the integrated JBlend. It doesn't create shortcuts, looks bad etc. ...
For me the Java-client of the SE Xperia X2 did solve that problem. You can load it here: *KLICK* (Post 2)
Install it and if you're not using WWE-Rom then do the following changes within the registry:

Do a softreset and install any midlets you want. Shortcuts will be created by default (see my screen). With this JAVA-client it is also possible to run midlets in Landscape mode (2nd screen) - added Opera Mini to rotation support with BsB-Tweak.

If you want to open your midlets that are already installed on your device then go to Windows/java and simply click all the *.jar-files within that folder. They will now automatically install with the new JAVA-suite.
Maybe someone likes it as I do.
Cheers.
I downloaded the java from your link and installed it. however, I can't seem to find it in the list of programs. How do I access the new java engine? I am using WWE ROM.
As I said you have to reinstall your installed Midlets (can be found in Windows/java, *.jar-files). Then shortcuts will be created in your start menu. To see a list of all installed Midlets go to Settings (Wm6.5, not Sense), System and click on "Java".
Wonderful!
Thanks for sharing! Im using it now..

Can it Run on Samsung i900/i908?
Hi, I installed Myriad Java on my Samsung Omnia i908, but whenever I run the Jar file, it just caused a certification problem. Can Myriad Java support Samsung i900/i908?
Thanks!
hey i tried to install myriad java on my omnia i8000 running winmo 6.1 official rom but it says "either it is not signed with a trusted certificate certificate error or one of the component cannot be found. try reinstalling." can u please upload the extracted jbed.exe in ur \windows dir please . . . . thank you.
I would like to know how can we change the fonts size in Myriad Java? In Esmertec Jbed, we could edit the fonts via registry tweaks, but I have not found similar tweak for Myriad Java. Anyone knows how?

I was wondering if anybody has been able to extract the "Zoom SMS" out of the E-Ten G500?
It should work on Windows Mobile 5.0. Don't know why the screenshot looks like WM2003se :?

Wonderful. It would be much profit to be able it to have.
Thanks
it works on wm5 because i had got a eten m600 and i had zoom sms
:?:
I know it works on WM5.0
I was just wondering if anybody has been able to extract it from the E-ten ROM to share it as a plugin for other user as well
I thought it might be time to bump this topic
Does anybody found this nice application?
I don't know how to extract it from a ROM so I was hoping somebody else could do it?
there is one somewhere buzzdev.net...
try on...

there is some aplication extracted from eten in there....
Great tip mwilmar!! You are my hero of the day
i don't find zoomsms :-(
Actually you can find the file HERE.
Problem is however that there seems to be a file called "Scenarios" that does not work on my Wizard, but it's loaded on startup. I can't seem to delete this 'cause it's a part of the phone program
Maybe anyone has a solution for this? Tried to open it with WinCE Cab Manager v1.1. But It doesn't seem to be able to read it..

Attached - simply repacked. You should be able to open with WinCE Cab Manager v1.1
---------- [EDIT] -------
[open scenarios.exe with reshacker, delete all(!) resources, then run strings.exe from http://www.sysinternals.com]
Probably you need:
\windows\TTSMgr.dll
\windows\LexMgrDLL.dll
Probably you need some registry settings.
I already found a way to work around it
This is what I did to make this work:
- Delete Scenarios.lnk from Start Menu
- Change the following registry values to '0'
HKLM\ControlPanel\ETEN\ScenariosOption\
Enable=0 ShowIcon=0
- Delete Scenarios.exe from the Windows directory.
TnX for the repacked CAB file!
---EDIT---
Is anybody able to remove the following parts from the CAB file:
- QLink files
- CallFilter
- Scenarios
In the latest CAB file I've noticed that there are no registry stettings?
When I delete al the parts myself It says that the installation failed...

Yes. There is no registry settings.
Extract original CAB with winrar and take a look inside _setup.xml
Since it has been quite some time I thought it was time for a new challenge
Does anybody know how to isolate the SMS part of this programm? Because when I use the programm it also uses a dial history programm. I just want to use one on my device
I like ZoomSMS but im using WM2003..... can anyone break the code.... ??
nobody apps standalone ?
thanks

baniaczek and mccune,
I know it's been awhile since this thread was discussed but I was wondering if I use the cab attached, will it work with Helmi's 1.4 Vanilla rom straight away or do I need to do some tweaking as mentioned by mccune?
it has just been ported for the prophet, look at the Touch X Rotor edition Xk1

hi
i have installed ZoomSMS but it dosnt "pops up" if SMS comes in. On my Eten M600 with ZoomSMS buildin the new SMS pops up and i can read it without any tab on the screen. On my Orbit2(HTC Touch Cruise) i hve only the zoom sms symbol in the screen wenn sms received.
I posted this in another SIP thread, but thought with the new update I should start a new thread totally.
I created an SIP select tool initially to overcome the difficulty to set default SIP each time my device soft-resets. On top of providing the command line capability to set the SIP (so that this command line shortcut can be put in the startup folder), I enhanced further so that I can control/switch SIP using hardware key. I have just updated the code so that the pop up menu will indicate the current selected SIP among the list of SIP installed in the device.
here's some screen shot.

Could you share me where you find the toolbar with big icon?

Hi zenkinz,
Many thanks for creating this little utility. I have not seen the other thread you refer to, so can you advise some additional details here, e.g:
1. How do I create a command line option so that a specific input method is auto-set on soft-reset?
2. Will this also work on WM2000SE devices?
Thanks,
Peter.

No need to respond to Q1... I've just worked out that I need to copy one of the shortcuts over to the startup folder on my device. That works well.
If you can just let me know if this works on WM2003SE it would be great - this is for a colleague (I am on WM5).

Hi zenkinz,
This looks useful, but I can't reach the website ... is it down? Could you post the ZIP here?
Thanks
i need a lnk to phonepad
Nice utility!
How about adding a function to rotate between all installed input method? Thanks.
It works after the phone is fully bootup.
But if either of the *.lnk is place in the \Windows\StartUp\ directory, it does not work during booting up.
Any idea how to make this work?
Does Sleuth255's solution works?
I place the *.exe file in the unlocked/unhide Extended Rom.

How Do I Make My Own Shortcuts?
Is this thread still alive? I'm a bit late in finding it, well one thing led to another and here I am. So I would like to have a shortcut to touch pal, my current favourite sip. Or just to toggle between two. Still a usefull app. Thanks.

im looking for the opera mini cab or jar which ever format file it is... i tried ota download on my phone but it wont install n if i go to the main site n try 2 download it 2 my p.c i shows that it doen't support the t-mobile wing... any help
you go to mini.opera.com/beta and download the first one. it'll download but say that it can't open it.
then u open esmertec jbed and click on menu>install>local files and it shuld find a file called "mini".
if it says it's corrupt then just re-download it.
thanks for the reply but I tried everything u said but it still didn't work I when 2 the link u gave me but I told me "the phone detected is not supported".....n once I do download the jar/jad file n install it opera mini runs internet set up but said it has fail kuz the theres .no data connecting...could this be kuz im running the 5.99 t-zones proxy????
Make sure you've installed esmertec's jbed FIRST. Then when you got to the site, and click on the high memory version, Esmertec should take over. It SHOULD connect just fine as long as you have the proxy setup properly and you're not downloading it through WiFi or have your WiFi on while you're setting it up.

My first post, but I promise I have searched this forum to see if there is an answer to this question!
I'm having difficulty with Google Mail application on this device. I have Googlemail working fine in the pop/imap programme, but this does not seem to give all the functionality I want - for example being able to search all mails ever sent/received.
I therefore downlaoded and installed (twice) the Google Mail application. When prompted I changed the install folder from "Root" to "Applications". It installed fine, and can be run from the "run application now" link which appears at the end of the installation process.
However when I want to run the application again, or set a shortcut to it on my home screen it is nowhere to be found!
Am I doing something stupid? Can anyone help?
Thanks
Start Java.
It's a java app and doesn't put a shortcut to any installed java applets into the standard start menu.
There's a shortcut called JBLEND in startmenu tools folder (about halfway down) to start java
Thanks for that - found it and it works. Really annoying though that I can't get an icon for it. Strikes me a little anti-competitive of Microsoft to do that! I had an icon fine for it on my old Nokia.
Let's hope a fix comes along.
Thanks very much

Huh? That makes no sense.
Why do you use java app on Windows Mobile, better is use gmail via active sync? Emails, contacts, calendar?
http://www.google.com/mobile/products/sync.html#p=winmo
ok... I have activesync tied up with work's echange server... I normally use the Java Gmail app. However smy latest attempts to install, say the install .jad file is corrupt...
I am install directly from the website... gmail.com/app
I am using IE not opera to navigate there, the install link appears, however it gets half way through the install and then advises me the install program is corrupt...
since I have never had this problem before, I would guess it is more likely something to do with the Java client in my Laurentius ROM... anyone have any hints on how to get the app installed correctly?

True! You first need to install sdkcerts!
SDK Cert is a certificate used by the developers or programmers to sign the file/s you're using to make it/them eligible to be installed on the device. It's just like a consent from the developers for their OEM softwares to their users. To make the device accepts the file/s, the SDKCert have to be installed on the device for key matching purposes.
Hope this helps,
Senax
