hi guys
i have some problems on my friends htc tatoo
i dont know what he didi,but the phone locked after start up and wanted to sign in whit my google account to unlock!
but i cant access setting to set connection setting for internet
and icant connect with wi-fi network because the phon is lock and i cant turn wi-fi on!
i cant acces recovery menu because the phone wasent rooted and flashed any recovery menu
no nandroid back up exist!
so my friends tatoo just turn on and off and i cant do any thing with it!
even i cant change the rom
if somebody knows please guide me

note : in pictures the simcard wsent inserted ,but if i insert the simcard, its still the same!
I have exactly the same problem - with a friends HTC Tattoo.
I even tried factory reset (while phone is off - press Menu+Back+TurnOn) but nothing happens.
You can flash the official rom again if you cannot wipe. Running the RUU utility, take the rom.zip from user's temp folder and rename it to CLIKIMG.zip
Then copy it to root of sdcard and reboot to fastboot. I don't remember the key compinations, but you can find them if you search the stickies of this forum.

i done it for now,and the screen lights is on and off repetitive and it takes until i pushed the buttons,then when i release the menu+back keys,the phone boots and still the same problem

I can't help you if you don't know what rom you have. You can try them though, if is they aren't suitable the didn't flash.
You must run RUU utility from pc, and will extract the rom.zip file in your temp folder.
You can access fastboot if you power off the device and hold volume down and power button. After that in fastboot you can flash the rom pushing the volume down key.

i tried the version RUU_Click_HTC_Asia_WWE_SEA_1.67.728.8_release_signed_NoDriver
from the link in my previouse post,
nothing was extarcted ! its begining to update rom just from pc to phone!
i installed htc synce for android devices it first and fortunately the phone was found by pc!during it was in lock screen!
i did run the update file and its begining to flash the phone
atlast the phone flashed and the new version startig up

I'm using flipz 1.56 RUU and for some reason, when it tells me to connect the phone to the PC, it says it cannot be found. I usually use a MAC to connect my Hero and all sorts of stuff, and I just found a PC to be able to unroot. What seems to be the issue? I know the phone is connected because I can look at it's folders and such.

I'm having this EXACT same issue... But, if you can look at its folders, go into the notifications and set it to "charge only" and make sure USB debugging is enabled.
You need to install HTC Sync on the PC in order to use the RUU.

Am about to unroot so I can take my Hero in to sprint, I have dust under the screen. Anyone want to point out the best (easiest) way to unroot?
I seen a post where it could be done by just sdcard, would that or using the kitchen be the best way to go?

3. Reboot phone into HBoot mode, by holding Volume Down
4. Press action (the trackball) when prompted
5. Reboot phone
while i havent done it, so cant confirm, the unroot from sd does seem to be the most foolproof way to do it. all their going to look for is the correct recovery.img and stock feel, so it only makes sense

HBoot is recovery mode, When you power up the phone holding down the volume button.
{EDIT} Still not sure what the problem was. But I ran the older kitchen and tried the rooter and it worked just jine. {edit}
OK, I did the 5 little steps and then I went to kitchen to root my phone again..
I phone reboots and when I try to go to HBoot so I can nandroid a backup I have I get this screen.

It's fine, this is Windows Default . You just have to switch to Sense.
To do that just press Start Button --> Settings --> Home --> *Switch to Items* --> Make sure "HTC Sense" Is checked and "Windows Default" Isn't .
There's nothing wrong with that - it's the Windows Today screen. I'd recommend doing a hard reset since you just got it.
Turn off the phone, hold down both volume down and volume up buttons, and briefly press the power button. Then follow the on-screen instructions.

Based on the pics, I guess you need to flash a new rom since it looks like a chuckydroid rom.

Its either a stripped own windows designed for using as a base to boot into Android OS, or it has had sense disabled via settings.
Go download the windows ROM you want as your OS, extract the .nbh file, rename it to "leoimg.nbh" put it onto root of your sdcard and reboot phone and then hold volume down key and follow instructions.

i put the leoimg.nbh file, nothing happened. it booted back to the same screen.
do i click power, THEN vol down ?
i also left all of my other files up there.. will that interfere?
Place the downloaded leoimg.nbh on the root of your memory card, hold down vol-down button and then hold down power-button until the screen wakes up. If you have done it rigth, instructions should appear and you just follow them...

at last step, that you will return to WM and nothing happened,
that should be wrong shipped ROM that you install,
please check your IMEI number at HTC website
and download the right shipped ROM again.
Reinstall recovery if it doesn't work..
Then enter recovery, go to "Mounts and Storage Menu" and mount usb...
Copy the .zip file and install it

its my first time im tring to install nand version, what does it mean reinstall recovery?

Again go to LK bootloader
Start recovery.bat
Now reboot in to recovery
When you are in fastboot (photon connected) launch recovery.bat
It will reboot, and to enter recovery just keep "volume +" at white screen and wait for menu

first of all thank you for your help, when i get to the recovery menu i try go to mount and storage then mount usb storage and i have access through the computer to the sd card i copied the sense 3.5 went to install zip from sdcard chose the file and it wrote finding packege then opening packege and then it get stuck whats wrong?
it could be long (10-30 mins), depends of your sd card.
Maybe your sd card isn't very good and not compatible with android.
Try to format your sdcard or try another sdcard

Folks,
I got a new Samsung focus (Re 1.3) yesterday , followed a tutorial from youtube to install custom rom. Everything went good , like installing MAGLDR and later reset and installing ROM. After installing ROM, the guy told that teh SAMSUNG logo appears for a long time and we have to poweroff by removing the battery. I did the same but nothing was working on my mobile. It starts booting shows samsung screen and stucks at the following screenshot, i tried to connect it to laptop as it showed in screenshot,but even hours dint helped anything. Now i can only see the download mode , not even the format mode. I searched how to reset to factory setting, but nothing was found useful. I found two posts one with instructions and files are corrupted, one post with files but no instructions. please help me with this.

Some how i am able to start it in format mode cancel and it went to magldr cmd..installed everything and this time works perfect.
Appreciate your help but i still dint get why start button was disable.

To "green" the port in the flasher, unplug the USB from your comp, wait about 2-3 seconds and plug it back. Just before flashing (after all are loaded).
As EnderPsp said u should always start the downloader first and then connect the phone in download mode.
i tried either way.. first attempt i connected mobile after loading the files as said in tutorial.. but start button was disabled and the mobile is not shown in ports section of the flasher..but it was shown clearly in system bar that mobile is connected and even safe remove was showing the mobile name. sorry to ask so many questions, its just in case it will be very useful for others in future.. thank you very much for your valuable replies.

I make a new post about my issues with my Crosscall Trekker M1
I already have a few clues about the thing and I hope I will be guide to find the solution. So it will help peoples who had the same issues and never found an answer on the internet !!
So let's start !
I rooted my device and removed a wrong file with the SuperUser. Now the phone start on Bootloop (logo screen again and again and again..)
I tried to wipe data and cache couple of times in Recovery Mode : (launch the device by pressing power button and Volume down button at the same time)
but it didn't work the phone still restart on bootloop.
After a lot of researchs, I found the Original Firmware of the phone that I kindly share with you :

My problem is that I can't install it on my device or I may not know how to do it the right way.
Someone on this forum told me that this kind of Rom can be install with Qualcomm File Image Loader.
So I installed it from this website :

QFIL appear to be the right software but even if the phone is plug on my PC, I still have NO PORT AVAILABLE.

The computer recognize the device but cannot install the drivers.
I couldn't find any drivers of the Trekker M1 on the internet.
So here am I does anyone have some more clues ?
Qualcomm is not the rom manager, yu need thé rom to be flashed by fastboot adb or recovery from sd or adb

Crosscall Trekker M1 flashed with stock rom
Thanks for the stock rom, i have successfullly flashed mine. You just need to extract your archive and copy folder "l635.v1" in root of sdcard. Then press vol + and vol - and power button on boot. And wait until flash loading bar have done, and that's it ! You will have a fresh stock rom on your trekker M1

So I've tried this method but the phone still show me those messages when I start it by pressing vol + vol - and power buttons:
"Authority identification not found !
Long press power key to continue .."
And when I do it :
"No update file in TFcard!
X
Update failed !
Long press prower key to power off..."
I've copied the l635.v1 folder on my sdcard that I plugged in my phone.. :crying:
Do you have any clues ?
(When I start the phone on recovery mode I can see the sdcard and the folder in it)
My sd card is a Samsung 32Gb formated in fat32, i didn't do any things special. You just need to put the folder i635.v1 on root of sdcard don't rename it and check if inside there are files for update and not an subdirectory due to extraction process... I doesn't have more clues for your issue ..

How did you find firmware? I'm looking for stock rom for crosscall action x3 and it's nownere online. Official site is useless. Just brochures and other useless info.
