Flashing my HD2

So hi there,
im about to flash my HD2.
These are my Bootloader information:
Bootloader
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
And these are my Software information:
OS: 5.2.21864 (21864.5.0.81)
ManillaVers 2.5.19202525.0
ROMVers: 1.43.111.2 (70315) GER
ROM date 10/28/09
As i figured out, my SPL Version is correct.
So i will HSPL it (better than SSPL, ya??)
I just want a normal version (not-branded by any provider) in german.
so which rom could be prefered?
another question:
if i send my hd2 for warranty back, has it to be 100% the same rom as before?
or can i just install a carriers rom and remove hspl?

you can flash hspl2 1.66 and then i suggest you flash artemis ger v8. if you have to send your device back to htc you can flash it with the 1.48 ger from here. good luck and happy flashing m8!

Before hspl2, flashing the wrong stock rom via sd card would have erased hspl and gotten you stuck on the wrong spl version with no way back and as such was discouraged. I believe with hspl2 this problem has been removed so there's no real difference. Some say sd card is safer as you can't accidentally knock out the usb cable during the flash, or if there's a power failure etc, but I've never had a problem recovering even with a power failure in the middle of a flash.

i' have always the same error code !

HSPL and HSPL2 should work. Don't use HSPL_1024 as that's only for the US TMo device.
What error message do you get?

[Q] Is this the T-Mobile HD2 Stock image???

Sorry if this is a repost but I want to make sure before I send my phone to T-Mobile tomorrow morning. If I have the correct numbers listed on the flash boot up screen. Please reply ASAP. Thank you

more important than the rom version is being sure hspl has been removed (assuming you have applied hspl in the past)
to check, enter bootloader and make sure the number by spl ends .0000 and not .hspl

Yip, I sent mine back with HSPL on it and they still fixed it under warranty

[Q] Reverting HD back to stock

I left a thread about this in the android section but now I realize that this is probably the better place to do it (I need to send my phone back and get a new one on warranty):
Can any one tell me is this the stock info on a t-mobile htc hd2 stock:
on the boot (three color red green and blue) screen it says:
SPL-2.10.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0X50
and on the ohter boot screen with the three numbers it says
R 2.15.50.14
G 15.42.50.11u
D 3.14.04666 8g
Will they be able to tell I messed with the phone given this info? In other words can I get my warranty with this?

Hello. I have allot of problems with my HD2 and i want to send it in for repair but i have flashed it before with a custom rom. I have read in here that when you flash back to an original rom the boot screen goes back to original as well. My boot scree says PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-3.03.000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
I have the newest stock rom from HTC
Is this original?
Is SPL-3.03.000XE the original SPL?

It looks like you are good to go. You have 3.03.0000 SPL which is the latest stock SPL version.
