HELP Zenonia on a Custom ROM - HD2 General

Hey guys,
I've been browsing this forum and others and I'm having trouble finding a reasonable answer and very little help...
I have a TMOUS HD2 (LEO)
with ChuckyROM (June 20th) release
running 2.12.50.02_2 Radio
I am having trouble running Zenonia
I've tried versions 1.2-1.6 and non of them work
I hit the icon, it goes to the loading page, then goes
back to my home screen...
I've heard its cause by memory issues, certains roms, and
also can be an issue with CHT....
Anyone know a fix for this?
I had it working on the previous release and also on
this release but it only lasted a couple days....
had to soft reset to make it work
help??

Problems after installing WM6.5 from T-Mobile

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, I installed WM6.5 from T-Mo website, after dooing that I see that TouchFlo3D is not pn my TP2 anymore, also the option for START-SETTING takes me to Manilla Settings. Has anyone else experienced this. Is there a new ROM I can install. Any help will be appreciated.
try installing rom again. it should fix the problem
That ROM is a bit of a stinker. It has doccumeted issues with losing time, all of the time. If you want a stock rom you should install HardSPL and take one of the WWE 6.5 ROMs.
this time i installed rom, my phone is freezing .... i have to do atleast 2 or more resets everyday since i have installed it.
A fair number of people have discovered that re-flashing that t-mo 6.5 ROM a 2nd time has helped clear up a number of odd issues like those.

My HD is freezing on Manila 2.5 Home

Hi all, I'm facing a serious issue on my HTC HD since few days. It works for sometime and then freezes on Manila Home each time I switch it on (from sleep). Impossible to do anything but soft reseting it and then it re-works again but when power it off (sleep) and come back again, nothing but still freezing . Does anyone know this issue ? Is it related to the ROM or it's something different ? I've been always upgrading my ROM with Energy Roms without facing this issue . Prety new to me. Please need your help to fix it, cause I also hard reseted without any result . Thanks
PS: FYI, i'm using the latest Energy ROM "Energy.BLACKSTONE.23569.Sense2.5.Cookie.Dinik.Glass".
Hi abenguru,
I also have several freezes with my Blackstone. The important thing ist that freezes only comes out with an customized ROM. before flashing any customized ROM everything was fine but also boring.
Now i have BlackDragon ROM flashed. The first Version i´ve tryed was BlackDragon 1.9.1. This version was stable and good. From Version 3 up to Goldlocke sense 2.5 , iI had much freezes and hang-ups.
We suggest that the Hardware-Version could be the reason for the freezes.
Can You tell me which hardware-Version you have?
Thanks Candy-men for your reply, for your question I'm not sure if I got it right but here are informations I can give you on the hardware : CPU: Qualcomm(r) 7201A -RAM: 288MB - Flash M:512MB - Data bus: 32bits - Storage: 240 MB - Dispaly Res: 480x800 - Bluetooth v: 2.0/2.0+EDR... But in addtion maybe this can help: OS version 5.2.23569 - Manila version: 2.5.20151725.1 - Radio version: 1.17.25.09 - Protocol version: 52.69.25.37U. Regards

the thing is, the Blckstone was never designed to run Man 2.5. if you try some custom roms which are man 2.1 rhodium ports or Man 2.1 diamond ports, you'll notice the big difference. if you want the fluidity of Win 6.5 with the old Man 2.1 Kwbr has the answer.

What have I got here??

TMO HTC HD2, unlocked to ATT, working kinda, several quirks, freezes, goes to NaviPanel by itself, strange lockup icon, etc.
Under the settings screen it says (see pics, too):
OS 5.2.21904 (21904.5.0.93)
Manila 2.5.2013 UDT v1
ROM "UDT Black Series DsE v10 WWE"
ROM Date 20-05-2010
Radio 2.08.50.08_2
Can't find anything in this forum, did the searches.
I might have a phone from "the bad batch".
I believe a new ROM might help, but read that you can't install the latest "stock" ROM unless you have 2.10.??? installed.
Whadamygonnado??
That rom doesn't look stock. Aren't stock roms ususally 39.4543.453.322 or something like that and custom roms like " Kumarv5-b or EnergyRom" BTW I was having a couple issues with my HD2 and found the energy rom fixed em all. One was File explorer extender would freeze my hd2 if I tried to close under task manager. Weather wouldn't update for my location, but it would everywhere else on the planet. etc...... I used stock rom, Kumars, and then energy. Energy seemed to fix everything and be the most stable and complete so far. Only had it on a week so I'm still testing. I made it 15 days without a reboot with Kumar so I'm expecting good things from energy. I'm on day 8 now.
Hard to know what's going on but I was really dissatisfied with the HD2 until I put a custom ROM on it. Tried a couple but for me the OZROM did the trick. Nothing fancy just a good solid piece of work, you can find the TM compatible version on the HD2 (only) forum.
My suggestion would be is to try installing either Energy or Core Cell Series ROMs...they both work very well.
You can't go wrong with either one.
Good Luck!
THANKS, guys!!! Think I'll try Energy, see if it works.

[Q] Telstra T9193; Android Woes

Hi all,
Having a problem getting Android to run on my Telstra HD2. I do the following:
+ Run CLRCAD; all good
+ Run HARET; all good until -- 5 or 6 lines of the linux screen appear and then it hangs, or the screen goes blank depending on the Android build that I try running.
I have an Australian HD2 with the following specs:
Model: T9193 (Telstra)
OS: 5.2.21869
R: 2.07.51.22_2
G: 15.32.50.07u
D: 1.72.82124
I am using the standard SanDisk 16Gb Micro-SD card. I have tried a number of Android builds from gamesquare.co.uk with no luck.
Can anyone suggest what I need to do to get this running on the stock Telstra ROM?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Peace..
Probably need to upgrade your rom
and radio. Look at some signatures of people who say their build is working good.
I didn't really want to upgrade the ROM and radio since it'd void my warranty..
RE: Telstra woes
I notice you are running 2.07.51 radio. I reckon it's your radio to be honest. I run 2.12.50.02_2 on mine. I have had problems with radios other than x.xx.50.xx radios. There is a link somewhere in here to all the working radios (I think in the definitive guide. Don't worry about warranty issues, if you ever need to deal with that, just flash back to the factory rom (but I take no responsibility .
Cheers
Definitely need to change the radio. You need a .50 radio. That also means you need to put HSPL on the phone. However, be aware that Android is not very stable yet. I couldn't get WiFi working and had all sorts of problems getting it to talk with Outlook. Went back to stock Rom highly modified (CHT etc)
Hmmm indeed the radio could be the problem. I use the 2.07.50.22_2 radio (although my G and and D values are also different from yours) and I've had no problems.
This way if anything catastrophically goes wrong with your phone and you're unable to flash the old radio back hopefully they won't notice
EDIT: Forgot about HSPL, thanks iandg.
Thanks for the replies.
I'm going to bite the bullet... I've just installed HSPL; no problems.. Now to find a radio update..

really? you had that much problems with it dude? I'm still a noob here but I must say that I'm having a really good experience with it at the moment.
My config seems to be working pretty good. Try this....
ROM is NRGZ maxsense rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
Radio:
2.12.50.02_2
Android build is [BUILD][25.08.2010][mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.6b][Kernel: michyprima 2.6.32.9 #70]:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=736545
I have actually been using this as my main OS for the last 2 builds and it is really usable now. I have it syncing direct to my outlook server at work no probs at all (IT have hijacked it with security policies, but this is understandable). Other than that I reckon the DEVs here are absolute geniuses with how well this stuff is running.
Hope this is of some help

e1design, I have the same phone in the States on AT&T. Feel free to use my links below in my sig to get what I'm using. It works just fine. I haven't been on WinMo in weeks.
Done
Firstly, thanks for the replies in this thread.
I have to say that I've read it many times before: "Try the search function" - well it works wonders. With the information posted in thtis thread I was able to piece it all together and I now have Android on my HD2!
There are still a couple of things to iron out [WiFi, battery life and such] but in all a very worthwhile exercise.
Thanks again to the thread responders, and if you're in the same place as I was a week ago wanting to get Android on your HD2 - search on the keywords in this thread and you'll find it's as easy as can be.
Androis on T9193
Am totally thrilled to learn Android can be installed on the T9193.
Where are the best locations to source ROMs?
Suggestions on which are better and why?
Steps to Android..
Look at my sig and go from there..
I know I'm reviving an old thread here, but I'm wondering if any of you using a Telstra HD2 on AT&T (Cingular for me) here in the US have a stable Android install? I've been struggling with this for a long time now. I love Android but I can't get a configuration that will run longer than about 10 hours most of the time. I've gone through all the radios from 2.12.50.02_2, 2.14.50.02, and 2.15.50.14. I've switched my Windows Mobile ROM from Dutty CDLC v15 to OzDroid v1.11, I've switched my Android build from mattc froyo sense v1.8 to froyostone sense v3.2. I've gone through a couple different Linux kernels, currently on hastarin #8. No matter what I do I end up with about a 10 hour life before the device hangs. I have seen improving PPP performance with the different radios and kernels, but the overall device stability is the biggest problem. Could anyone using the Telstra HD2 for Android please post the configs that worked from them on their devices and include what kind of uptime you've achieved? I'm hoping this would really help me. Thanks in advance.
Ok For me I have the telstra HD2 and this is my Config.
Pretty much the latest of everything
- MAGLDR1.13
-Latest HSPL
-TyphoonN_CM7_v2.4.4.zip
- Radio 2.15.50.14
- Clockwork mode recovery v1.3
Just follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933951
Hope that helps.

What radio are you using and did you run CLRCAD.exe?
Radio versions are responsible for almost every problem running android on HD2. You should really upgrade to version 2.12 and compare. Also try upgrading your winmo rom to one of the other winmo rom's on the this site, since they tweak and change minor things which may have an impact. I use ChuckyROM, which is nice because it has a cool loader for launching android with the click of a button.
What are some reliable radios yall recommend to use and I have a cooked winmo Rom already but I can do everything on the Android but make a call I can receive text emails and surf but can't make calls :/
Like the above poster already suggested, use 2.12. This is the newest radio. It works great for me.
I am using radio 2.15.50.14 and cannot get android to run
I run HARET and it shows a couple of lines of code, then within 3 or 4 seconds of running it, I get lots of static horizontal white lines and the device basically bricks and I have to remove the battery.
Any ideas?

I had this same problem when I first started reading about droid on HD2.
Make sure you flash your phone with HSPL and make sure you format your memory card as FAT32.
problem calling, american suffix added
hi,
i have recently upgraded my hd2 with the latest winmo (oct 2010) and install Android 2.2 with sense. that works fine, but i have sometimes a problem when i'm trying to make call, the phone add automatically the usa suffix to my number :s
example if i try to call a 06xxxxxxxxhe will try to call the 00106xxxxxxxx.
can someone please help me to resolve that.
thank you very much.
hi,
i have succesfully boot android to my hd2, but when i turn my phone off and turn it on it starts with my standard rom (winmo 6.5)
can somebody help me?
thanks!
Maybe you didn't you understand that its the way it should be ?
You have installed a SD build, which means your WM 6.5 ROM has not been touched in any way, and everytime you reboot then your phone will boot in WM first.
By the way, this is a great advantage of SD builds, because if anything goes wrong in Android, you can quickly go back to WM.
Fortunately, you can automate the work to restart Android at each boot by installing an app like EBL (Exceller boot loader). Search here on xda, or google it for more information.
Ok thanks for the reaction,
I have one problem. When i turn on the music on my phone, it's going faster than normal. I have read some things, but it stil there.
My radio version is now: 2.10.50.26

More details please (NAND or SD, kernel, radio version…). Some apps like Viber or Shazam can cause this issue after using them.
