Hi! I have problems with my 3G/hsdpa connection, so I decide to flash radio 1.58.21.23 and...the link is dead. Can anyone help me, please?
Hi, I'm from Rome too and I also had your problem.
I solved this issue by delivering the unit to technical assistance center and HTC has changed the GSM/UMTS module of my shift.
If you're interested you can contact me directly so I can give you the address of the technical assistance center in Rome.
Kind regards,

I have a Herm100 device (JASJAM) with a very big problem in it's GSM module.
it works only if the signal strength is quite well. may be a 100 meters away from a Mobile BTS. I upgraded the radio rom several times but didn't help at all . Any body knows what the problem might be?
thanks
Please!!!!!!!!
No one can help me with this problem?
where can I buy a board for my JASJAM?
sounds like a hardware fault , antenna not working , dry solder joint?
Were you using 1.54 radio roms as there has been gsm issues with signal using those, I myself have had issues.
I had that problem with many radio ROMs , actually with all I upgraded to including ROM 1.54.
It's not a ROM problem. I also used FieldTest.exe on the device, the result was really confusing! FieldTest shows the signal as strong as other cell phones but I can not make any incoming or outgoing call. so it may not be an antenna problem since the receiver works well.
anyway, is it possible to find a board?
Not a hardware problem
Dear every one!
Following the previous posts, I have to announce that I got my jasjam for repair. they examined it's mother board and told me that there is nothing wrong with the antenna circuits and other hardware issues on my cell phone. So it should be a software problem. is there any suggestion for this? please help me!
What country, what is the radio rom your carrier uses?
These are important to tell so we can help.
The radio rom doesn't need to be upgraded to the latest to work best where you are. It COULD be causing issues if your carrier doesn't like it. Can only suggest to find out what they are using and flash to that..
Cheers...
Any Idea
I'm from Iran. I tried many radio roms
current specifications are:
WM5
ROM Version: 1.31.305.2
Radio ROM Version: 1.38.30.10
IPL-1.01
SPL-1.11
Radio BootLoader Version: 1.0108
Does any one know how to downgrade the radio bootloader
Thanks!
Hello All,
It's good to find online such a great and evolving community.
I hope that someone in here can help me solve the issue that I have.
When I start a call, or a receive a call, sometimes the person I talk to says that they hear me very badly and it's droping, whileas I am hearing them crystal clear.
The problem was there still with the original 1.14 SPL and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Stock WWE.
Now I have upgraded to Dutty's latest R7 WM6.5, hoping that the new Radio ROM can solve my issues but unfortunately this didn't happen.
The Carrier I am using is Globul Bulgaria, and I have disabled the 3G/HSDPA feature and currently operating only in GSM ( 900,1800MHz bands) mode hoping that this will improve the quality of the signal and thus provide me better talking experience.
The interesting thing is, that I am not experiencing this problem all the time. In some cells it's ok and in others it's not.
I was thinking to take my phone to the service center here in Bulgaria, but decided to ask here first if anyone has experienced the same problem in other GSM networks or even found a solution to it.
Thanks all for the time.
Regards,
Lyuben Bahtarliev
Same here, take a look at your serial number, and also see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=476139
Thanks for the guidelines.
Excuse me for double posting it was difficult to find the thread when searching.
The conclusion is that I will need to flash my phone to factory SPL, Radio ROM and Windows and get it for repair.
What a shame...
Hello! For the people who has this problem the only solution that i have found and the explanation of the problem that came from HTC is that there is a known problem with the RADIO hardware and that the IC needs to be replaced. The Tech people at HTC told me right away what the solution was... so i think that besides replacing Motherboard you can try to change IMEI (check your local law first) to see if its not related to that. Upgrading, Dowongrading radio version doesnt seem to mather. If someone has found the solution please post so we can all live happy!!
Unit will not wifi. We have other units that wifi. There is a test website for HTC. It requires a id and pw for the test site. Also HTC has a 128mg test porgram to test all functions. Please advise
i also have the same problem with wifi on my o2 xda mini-s. based on what i read it has something to do with the router signal whether its wireless b, wireless g or can support both (wireless b/g)
usually today i think most router is wireless g therefore phones with wireless b capability cannot connect to wireless g routers. and my phone before doesnt even work with router wireless b/g. Maybe we have similar problem.
i think there is a registry hack somewhere..
there i found it.
or what i did was flashed a new rom that has already did the registry hack.
i can connect to wifi now
cheers
Dear Janil, thanks for all your help. We have extra mda tmobiles for parts etc. Is the wifi a software program or hardware? The wifi works on our backup mda, but the wifi does not work on this unit.
The issue with the backup mda tht can wifi is the plug to the mda to charge the unit broke off and does not work. We are always running on the battery. Can we use CA glue to put the plug back in the mda? We tried solder that did not work. Any suggestion would be apprecated.
If you want the service manual. We are looking for the sofware test program that HTC service companies have.
Please email us at [email protected] aol.com. We will email it back. It's on PDF.
Also what new rom are you using? We would like to upgrade to 6.5 or higher. We used x2h_wm6.5_v4.8C rom. Nice program uses a exe file instead of the steps unlock etc. That is when we lost the wifi capibilities. Please advise
first make sure that the phone has a wifi adapter (hardware) but hearing its a mda tmobile (i assume its a HTC wizard model) i think it has already wifi capability by nature. its either the hardware for wifi is broken. test it if you can detect a router signal. if you can detect a router signal then there is hope.
by the way i used TnT series by it's right. though its windows mobile 6.1
you can find it here.
after i flashed the rom i didnt need to do the registry hacks for wifi.
my phone instantly can connect to a router.
mba tmobile need help.
Dear jenil, thanks for all your help. downloading tnt as we email.
If wifi hardware, what is the part number. remember we have the service manual.
would you like the service manual so we can be on the same page when we ask for the part number.
mda tomobile need help
Dear Jenil, any suggestions for fixing the broken charger plug on the backup mda. Is it better to use CA glue or solder. Please advise
i am not sure what is good for fixing the broken charger. i do not have enough knowledge with regards to hardware things. but i guess someone here can advise you with that.
nonetheless try the rom if ever it would fix your wifi problem with your t-mobile.
one more thing, if it would be your first time flashing a rom then i think you would need this.
Flashing incorrectly may result to bricking/damaging a phone..

This is a known issue in 3G. Try 2G or a different Radio version.
