I'm using the latest damagecontrol rom on my hero with a 710 MHz overclock and I'm pretty happy with my hero. The phone performs a good deal better however my main issue from before still remains. The dialer lags horribly so that I can't answer 50% of my incoming calls.
Do I need a task manager? A better rom? A better dialer app? I like the main apps functionality but if there is an app that doesn't crash every other time then I'm down.

There are several people who have this problem. Some people suggest setting your Slot Index to 1 instead of 2, but its not that big of a help in my experience. And I have heard that the towers force a specific polling rate on you.
I have found that moving ringtones from the SD card to internal memory seems to help a little if you have a slow card. Now that I have a class 6, the difference is negligable.
Actually it happens on outgoing calls as well. :\
happens to me too. isn't "ring lag" that has been discussed before. just a delay when you click on a contact name and it tries to call. can take up to 20-30 secs... will call them twice if you tap it twice, you'll have them on call waiting aaha.
Clear your call history, Mine after about 3 weeks makes the dialer lag so bad its unuseable. That at least helps with the visible dialer lag, doesn't seem to make much difference for incoming calls (which I still miss most of the time).
I just posted in another thread, I've tried a dozen different ROMS, OC and non-OC, and have yet to get the phone to ring for even 50% of the 23 second ring-cycle.
I had SEVERE lag when I was on the stock 2.1 release from Sprint. After I rooted I haven't tried all the ROM's out there, but there is NO LAG on Aloysius 2.1. Plus, if you download the snow version, you get the AOSP dialer as well so you can try both. I am not saying your current ROM is bad, but I'd play around and see.
i wonder if it is a diff phone.apk in that rom, i wonder if it could be extracted?

Testing out what was discussed in the Town Hall Meeting.
A couple review guidelines:
Make sure to mention in your review if you are running the ROM with any mods or lagfixes.
"This ROM rulez" or "this ROM suckz" is not a good review. Please explain specifically what it is that you like about this ROM and what it is that you don't like.
Screenshots are always appreciated.
Everyone has different needs for a ROM and people's needs are unique to how they use their phone. What is a dealbreaker for one person may not be for another person. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and flaming them for it is NOT OK.
Not liking a ROM is not grounds for personal remarks against the devs.
I ran this ROM for about 14 hours before restoring to JI6. It was nice and fast. Everything seemed to be working correctly. Still did not have stock android keyboard by default so I had to add that in, of course the haptic feedback on that did not work.
Tried some MMS tests and they seemed to come in blurry. I don't think this is so much ROM issue but more so an issue where T-Mobile MMS servers do not recognize the build so they send the pic to me in a lower res in order to make sure I get it. Once the ROM build can be recognized by the MMS servers the pics should come in with the correct resolution.
GPS, Wifi, and 3G all worked great. GPS I first ran Samsung GPS Restore and then tested with several GPS apps. Got 12/12 satellites in under 5 seconds. Accuracy was down to 10 feet.
All in all a good stock ROM, did not see any of the Rescue apps that showed up in previous leaks, I would not be surprised if this ended up being released as official.
I had T959UVJK6 - Stock and took the JL4 stock and Odin and its running now. i found the Market is updated. I did not check Maps or GPS yet and no wipe or anything of that sort just clean and simple.
You dont need any of the 2.2 leaks for the new market. I'm still running stock and it eventually popped up on my vibrant.
All of my previous roms had been taking an inordinate amount of battery during phonecalls. I chalked it up to the antenna signal being weak and having to work extra to get signal.
So i began comparing with other android handsets and try enough their signal strength (dBm) would always be better than mine.
Now, with this rom, the signal strength is beyond fantastic. At least in terms of the number. It hardly goes above 84 dBm while in previous roms. A 86 dBm would be the best i ever got, and even that would be for limited periods of time. It would hover around much larget values which are bad.
Other than that, the ROM has much to much bloat which is eating up CPU cycles. But it has the 3E recovery so i cant boot it. And i cant figure out how to do the fix (even though i do know that there is a a thread for that)
So i am waiting for an odin rom which is rooted and Deodexed and hopefully bloatware free. Otherwise it is a brilliant rom. (oh, btw, no stock andorid keyboard as well.)
hey guys, dont know if this works for everyone, but i flashed from stok ji6 to jl4 using odin and everything was fine except the error msg i got for mms "error in server response". a tmo rep actualy helped me and he fixed it. if your problem is the same, go to the camera, slide the menu from the side, hit settings, go to resolution, change it to 3.2mp, take a pic and send. it should work and then you can change it back to 5mp. thought id share since thats the only problem i had so it seems great now
JL4 has been working great for me. It finally pushed me over the JI6 hump. I used Titanium to freeze most of the bloatware. The writing to internal/external SD is fixed. With the previous fix, I could write to one or the other but not both. My "own number" shows up which in my case was needed for my Verizon FiOS Remote DVR app to work.
Regarding the blurry MMS issues, I've never had it. But then again, I strictly use Handcent.
Battery life, I don't know about yet since I haven't run a specific build for more than 24 hours. Been going flash crazy trying everything out.
Oh wait... I did notice one minor issue that hasn't happened every single time. Sometimes after unplugging the micro USB cable, status bar still shows connected.

Yea, I was in the market, made a mistake and closed it. Opened it again and the new one was there.
It force closes way too much for me. At least 10 times a day the damn thing force closes on me (I'm desperately trying to find useful apps for my phone, so I'm in it a lot lately).
Stock JL4
Running it since it became available. I love it, not very different from stock JK6.
Pros:
No force closes yet.
No noticable problems
Flash working fine
Quadrant cpu score slight boost form JI6
Wifi calling
Better battery life than JI6, and same as Jk6.
I have always liked Touchwiz
Cons:
-When running touchwiz, widgets still cause a slight lag when scrolling through the 7 homescreens. This is just touchwiz, and has always been like that.
-The new JL4 modem in my opinion doesn't offer a strong 3G signal like JK6 did.
-I can't turn off geotagging in camera mode

That's something I just noticed. Signal bar wise, seems to flucuate like the original JFD in 2.1 and doesn't stay as full bars as much. But, speed wise, it seems okay. I don't really care what the bars say anymore as long as I can hold a 3g connection.
-- Edit --
Just flashed JK6 modem and it does seem to be more consistent then JL4 for me. Also applied Voodoo Lag fix to it and it's screaming fast to my eyes now.
I'm really impressed with this rom. Very snappy out of the box, signal strength is amazingly improved for me! Very noticeable improvement.
Update: GPS is much improved...saw 14 birds and locked on 12 in 7 seconds. This is a huge jump from any previous rom I've used.

*thumbs up*
Performance was good on its own (no lagfix). There was very minor lag when an app installed in the background, loading the app drawer sometimes, and the new Market (which was a more noticeable lag). Still, it was nothing compared to stock Eclair. There was also no real wakeup lag to speak of. Pretty snappy for a stock build. I just Voodoo-ed it up anyway because it makes it that much more smooth and fast. With Voodoo, apps load faster, including the new Market.
Modem is working out well so far. According to my signal widget, I'm getting H speeds in my home, though I don't think this build has an H indicator in the Notification Bar.
GPS locked on quickly with no problems. My problem was never locking. I was always losing the lock and never regaining it during navigation so I will update after I use it for an actual trip.
Update: GPS stayed locked during the whole trip. I am impressed. I should also note that I ran Samsung's GPSRestore app before using the phone for Navigation and that this is the updated version of Maps.
Since this is a stock build, it came with all the T-Mo bloatware, which I uninstalled with Ti Backup. If you like WiFi calling, this would be a good choice for you. Note of warning: if you uninstall WiFi calling with Ti Backup, it will keep FCing so you will have to force reboot by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. It's fine after that.
My battery life has been bad since a couple of builds ago so I can't really accurately comment on how it is. I can edit after a recalibration.
Overall: stable, fairly fast and with no glaring problems to speak of. If you like stock, grab this ROM.
I just noticed I'm not getting voicemail notifications. Anyone else notice?

Did you set up Visual Voicemail?
No I didn't as I don't use visual voicemail. Br1cK'd suggested the following which I totally forgot about since I've seen this before.
"Did you set your voicemail carrier to your service provider? This is set under settings, call settings, voicemail. I noticed in the newest ginger clone which is jl4based that google voice is a voicemail option in that menu, I haven't noticed that in any other previous roms/frameworks, and wonder if that may affect your notifications."
Unfortunately, I already went back to JI6 and once again flashing back to JL4 to try it out.

I am using CMYLXGO's NAND stock Desire HD build. Its great. However, I am having so many lag issues. I seem to be one of the few that is experiencing this with the build so i turn to some of you to see if you have had similar issues with your phones.
Problems:
1. when auto populating apps (like using installer, uninstaller, managing applications in the system tab) the phone will take forever to pull up all the apps , the screen will cut off (because the screen times out) and when I hit the home button or any button to cut the phone back on it stays black.
2. every action makes the cpu run high. adding a widget to the home screen (apps populating issue again), changing screens really fast and other assorted minor processed.
I have stopped auto sync
I do not use auto rotate any more
I do not have any rogue processes for the most part
I don't understand why I seem to have these lag issues. Everyone else talks about how fast and fluid the build is. I am under the impression that with the build NOT being run from the memory card NAND would add to speed. This is not happening for me. If anyone has any idea why this is happening. I am convinced it is something on my end but I don't know where to start. I am open to suggestions.
I have 2.15 radio, 16 gig class 2 memory card.
Hmmm, not sure but have you tried another ROM similar to see if it does the same? You can also go into MAGLDR and wipe dalvik cache. I used this ROM and all was good for me. I have sense been using this one which is also working very well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976384&page=1
every version of this build has been tried. That is the part that gets me. differnt kernels don't help either. i have even used SetCPU and overcloced to try and get through some of the lag. it works, but it is only when I play games not when I need to perform uninstall or widget selection for the home pages. I use SeePU which is ususally shows my cpu strain in the bright orange (for high use). most of my processes/actions raise the cpu use to high levels. I never really operate in a green (or low) usage level no matter what the action is. I would really like to capitalize on the speed NAND is supposed to offer.
Personally I would try something else (a totally different ROM) and see if you are still getting the same results, maybe even revert back to a windows mobile rom just to see if you are still getting the hang up. Last option would be to restore your phone to stock and start over, reinstall HSPL 2.08 new radio, etc...etc...

yeah. but i did not at first. however, it is needed to stop some of the rogue processes. android.process.acore comes to mind.
I personally think this is one of the most stable builds around. I would rarely experience any lag, and if I did it would only last for seconds.

Believe me, I know. Everything is working in his build. GPS, MMS, easy to install - the works. This is why i really want this to work properly so I can use it, without the hiccups, as my daily build. It has to be something with my phone but I can't figure out what it is yet....
On Cmylxgo's build, the first time I loaded it, I had the laggy and unresponsiveness you described for the same reasons. What I found is that rebooting the system to off/on a couple of times when I first loaded the build, addressed the first initial lag and unresponsiveness. After doing a couple of reboots, I found the build as smooth as everyone says it is. I am now trying the GL Core v11 kernel and it gives an extra 300 pts to the Quadrant Score and seems to be a bit quicker than the Rafpigna 1.8 kernel that comes with the build. Also, standby battery drain seems to be a bit better with the hourly peaks at half what I see with Rafpigna. If rebooting a couple of times doesn't do it for you, I know trying another build which may not have all the bells and whistles as Cmylxgo, but it is worth a try to see if it makes a difference. For me at least Cmylxgo's stock Desire (HD)2 build is much faster and smoother than any of the MDJ SD builds I was using.
We don't have a thread yet discussing things that we like/don't like about the update to EC05. I am quite certain that Sprint ID will be a hot topic here, but we don't need to limit it to that.
What do you like and what don't you like? What has been fixed and what has not been fixed?
Personally, I am enjoying the Sprint ID because of some additional ringtones and wallpapers. The launcher works much like the stock Android launcher with the exception of the iD button replacing the browser button. I always activate the internet from an icon in a home screen anyways.
I have also noticed that the GPS seems to be very strong and accurate!!
In call volume seems to be louder (to me) as well.
I would probably enjoy Sprint ID if I could get any apps to show up in the app drawer for me. It's empty forcing me to stick with Touchwiz.
It seems to be much more stable. Gps works great. I've had no 3g data issues. No FCs, minus the xda app. I had to remove one bloatware file to get my adfree hosts file updated due to the /system partition having no memory left. The browser still has checkerboarding, but that's a minor thing for me, and the keyboard still does its thing. Otherwise a really good running stock ROM for me.
I did put launcher pro back on though. I've gotten too used to it.
Hardware keyboard sucks even more than it did before, which is impressive.
There's no longer a separate silent and vibrate ringer setting.
Those two are basically a killer. I guess I'll keep DI18 forever. :\
Orientation is slow as molasses. The terminal emulator yamaha_sensorcalibutil hack doesn't help at all. Will play with for a few days and probably go back to DI18 if i can't find a fix for orientation issue.

It is amazing that they could make the keyboard worse isn't it? As for the silent option, that's been gone since the first froyo beta. Not sure why they got rid of it.. it was a nice feature. :-/

Ok I have only been using it for about 10 minutes but I immediately tested the few things that I knew existed on EB13 for me.
1. Camera sports mode fixed
2. Video recording in low light fixed
3. Compass being screwed up fixed
4. 3g speeds faster for me
5. overall speed seems faster
6. Physical keyboard isn't missing keys for me DISCLAIMER: I am not a speed typer. I have only used the keyboard a few times since owning the Epic. However on EB13, and before, I could produce the letter skips pretty easily. Especially on double leTTers. I tested by typing 100 words as fast as I could and I did not have a single letter miss. But I did have a few spelling errors
Only two problems that I know of which I don't really care that much about
1. Browser checkerboarding
2. Playing audio from flash content over the web to bluetooth headphones stutters badly. Flash audio out of the speakers work fine. Had this problem on EB13 also.
If I run into anything else I will let you know.

My orientation and compass are flawless. I will keep an eye on it though to make sure I don't find a problem because I have only used it for about 20 minutes now.
So far, everything is running very smoothly and appears to be more responsive than my stock DI18. The only issue I have seen thus far is I disabled my Wi-Fi to look at the SprintID packs (you can only view these when using the data connection) and when I went to re-enable the Wi-Fi, I received an error. This corrected itself after I turned off my data (holding the power button and selecting the new data option) and then back on.
EDIT: Tried the BlueTooth, which worked great; However, when I turned it off and went to watch a YouTube video, the sound was only coming through the phones speaker and not the main speaker. It only started working again after a reboot. I believe I saw this in a thread a while back. Anyone else experiencing this yet?

Sprint Id is a pleasant surprise to me too. I like the ESPN id with its wallpaper, ringtones and icons.
For those using sprint id, do you notice any performance or battery problems from using it? That is the main reason I am avoiding it. Wanted to wait until more data came in to see what peoples opinions were. If people could throw up some screen shots showing some differences that would be nice.

Seems generally good. No lag, most of the bugs fixed, only the TWS bug remains (which seems to be in the AOSP Android code, not created by Samsung). It's too early to tell but it seems that battery life may be average at best. I've been on Stock EB13 with Genocide 0.4a kernel (which is an OC/UV kernel) and I got used to 24+ hours battery life, I don't think I'll see that with full stock EC05.
The battery life has gotten significantly worst with EC05. The drain when the screen is off is significantly more. There is a lot of lag, even with calibrating upside down, with the screen orientation. I have the same set up as I did with stock EB and the camera fix and the battery life was a lot better. I may go back to that.
The good for me:
1- 3g speeds the best yet, had 1.3Mb down and 700k up while driving.
2- Everything seems much smoother and faster. I wiped my stock sd card before flashing ec05 and my sd tools results are better.
3- GPS and orientation speeds are flawless. (removed Sprint bloat)
4- Modem in general seems fixed. My wifi doesn't drop out every 10 minutes like it did on eb13, and I can stream radio on tunein radio again without it buffering every minute or so.
5- Sprint ID. It's more options and stuff for us to choose from. Some may hate that, but at least it's actually useful bloat from Sprint that I didn't remove.
Still haven't found an issue after several hours of use.

I would give it a little time to judge the battery life on the update. I am pretty sure your usage has changed a bit due to the update brining something new and all the re-setup you probably had to do. In regards to lag - I have zero issues with that, it seems nice and fast to me - install spare parts from market and put animations to fast to get it even smoother. My GPS locked instantly inside my house which never happened before on any ROM (stock or custom). Screen rotation speed can be fixed by doing the yamaha calibration trick (need to root for that though) - I had to do this with every ROM including EB13 Samsung flash. I understand that to each his own, but I am definitely liking this update. They did a good job and now that I resolved my exchange server issue, I am really liking it. Good job Sprint/Sammy!
I still have the BT issue as the EB13,I have a Jabra A2DP headset,it doesn't see my headset after i turn it on,I had to turn off & on bt on the phone again for it to see my bt headset,I had this exact problem on EB13 but not DI18,sometimes no matter what i did,it just not seeing my bt headset anymore, had to delete and re-pair it again, very frustrating, beside this,i have no issues w/EC05.
Zillion of them!
I think I tried every single wildfire rom. Now it's time for a review.
2 types of roms right? AOSP and Sense based.
AOSP first: (2.3)
They all have small bugs. Like bluetooth transfer, wifi dropping after 30 minutes, battery drain, sync stuck etc etc... Biggest common problem with aosp roms is web performance. Browsers are so slooooww... I just don't surf at all. It takes at least 5 seconds to open google home page. You get the idea I suppose.
Yeah opera mini is fast but web pages look like they are from 1998 with opera.
Sense now; (2.2)
They all are the same. Stock and Joker roms are the most stable ones. Wildpuzzle, dk, rempuzzle etc.. They do have small bugs here and there.
Sense means a little bit slower phone with some perks. Speed wise they all are the same. If you overclock stock rom you'll get the best sense rom. You'll never have a pleasent angrybirds experience with a sense based rom. Maybe first 5 levels...
Which rom do "I" use;
I use ruymanca hellfire aosp gingerbread rom.
Why?
1- Because my phone acts like a phone with ruymanca's rom. When someone calls me my phone starts ringing straightaway. Other roms have 3-ish seconds delay which makes me miss shed loads of calls.
At times I catch the call before otherside gets bored, conversation goes like this.
- I'm sorry, are you available?
- Why are you sorry? Why wouldn't I be available?
- It took you so long to answer.
- (ops he thinks I was ****ting) No no it's fine. (damn phone!)
2- I mainly use my phone for checking gmail and chatting on gtalk with mates. ruymanca does this flawlessly.
I also use gps navigation a lot. Which is no problem with ruymanca's rom.
I said "They all have small bugs". What bugs does ruymanca have?
-no bluetooth .apk transfer.
-reboot the phone. facebook contacts sync is gone.
-Wifi sometimes drop when I leave the phone idle for a long time.
Which ROM?
If you surf the internet a lot. Definitely a sense rom. Joker or Stock I would suggest.
If you are a facebook/twitter person. Go for stock rom.
If you use your phone for business, ruymanca all the way.
If you don't care about browser performance but want a fast rom. it is anonimo's rom.
If you want best of both worlds it is CM7. I think 98 nightly was the most stable one. I might be wrong here. Just check the thread and read reviews.
Ive used sense roms and Cm7 with Opera Mobile and its no
slowdown on Cm7, never noticed that surfing was faster on sense roms at all.
Wired....
Same for the telephone lag when a call comes in. Im using the ram optimization script made by Juwe11, Cpumin 528Mhz, Compcache off and when i call my wildfire from my home-phone, its ringing and screen is on one second after i hear the first ringing of the calling phone.Thats faster than you can get your phone out of your pocket..........
This should help a lot of people! Thanks!
Sorry i didnt mention ring lag on cm7. Yes it is less with cm7. Like you said around 1 second when overclocked to 528 minimum.
Ruymanca is a different story. 245min and zero second lag. Hence longer battery life. Ruymanca is my choice. It isnt the best rom for sure.
The problem is there is no best rom. It is all about compromises.

Coming from mostly iPhones and jailbreaking I'm not really used to android but I damn well love the fact that I can do everything on stock android that I cant do on a stock iPhone basically the Android can do more at stock than basically a jailbroken iPhone can do which is crazy. So the lag I'm experiencing is mostly in YouTube app basically the video will pause but the sound keeps playing so the video is actually playing but the picture that's on the screen is paused and camera which is extremely laggy sometimes I'll open the camera app and it will be shaky and when I move the camera around its blurry and looks like straight up pixels lol looks laggy when moving the camera. sometimes it can be on the home screen randomly sometimes it flys which is weird I don't have alot of apps on here also and I currently do not have a SD card I know this sounds stupid to you guys but remember I'm coming from iPhone... So does a SD card improve performance? Does it get rid of the lag or something? I also would like to note I don't mind rooting as long as it fixes the freaking lag.. Also my device is not a bad apple out of the bunch I actually got a replacement of the same phone from att they logged into my phone and saw the lag sent me the same device and they new device was doing the exact same thing the old device was so I sent back the new one and kept the old bc I have all my apps up here. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I just want to enjoy my phone =(. And sorry for the long post.
Settings/Developer Options/Tick on "Force GPU Rendering" this should make this beast smoother/snappier" If root available try L Speed/Entropy/fstrim apps found on Play Store! LG V20 & LG G5 are snappy beasts, well optimised with Snapdragon 820 processor and is better than Samsung.
No SD card doesn't slow or lag a powerful phone like the amazing V20, I have tons of storage since I use a 128 GB micro SD and no issues.
What class is your sdcard (if any)? I've found that a slow sdcard can have some terrible effects on performance, in fact this has been an excuse to remove external memory support on some phones by the developers because they tend to be significantly slower than the internal memory.
I have Spotify and the storage set to external on a class 10 cars and there is noticeable lag in the program compared to other programs. It lags just as much as it did on my v10 other programs do not exhibit this behavior.
Also as much as I hate Apple they make some incredibly fast processors and in general their processors are faster than Qualcomm's processors. Still in day to day operations this shouldn't be noticeable and there shouldn't be lag on the v20 as you're describing.
I am running non-rooted and do not experience this lag. If you want to try force GPU rendering you have to enable developer options you can do this by:
- going to settings, go to about phone
- tap software version, tap build number (7 times I believe) you'll be told developer mode enabled or something to that extent
- now go back to settings you'll have a new developer option available
- scroll down until you find "Force GPU rendering", put a check, this may or may not smooth out your performance.
The theory is that this will force the GPU to take on more tasks freeing up the CPU for other tasks, essentially they share the load more.
Welcome to android, you'll be floored by the amount of stuff you can do on android that you can't do on iOS. You should check out some of the 3rd party launchers if you want some more customization to the look of android. I recommend ADW launcher 2.0, Action Launcher or Nova.
Sent from my LG-H918 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Battery pull, reinstall of app, clear cache; there are various options to remedy your issue. Try all of the suggested routes and see if it helps. Good luck.
Just pointing out he said he has no SD card...
The only lag I have experienced was with my stock messaging app. Typing lag was driving me crazy. Didn't seem to matter which keyboard I used.
I don't know if it's because I don't delete my texts or what but I switched to the Textra messaging app and the lag seems to be gone. (and I like the app better too!)
What you're experiencing definitely doesn't sound "normal".
You shouldn't have to change settings to get a smooth running phone.
It's strange that the replacement showed the same lag. Did you install any apps before testing for lag?
Seems like there could be an app causing this. I'm not really qualified to help except to say it's just not "normal" so I hope you can get it figured out!
Hey guys sorry for late message so yeah I sadly don't have a SD card I feel like I don't really need one I don't use that much data I can add that I use Spotify as well and I have over 2k songs easy I listen to alot of music lol. But I don't think that should make a huge difference in the speed maybe it does idk for sure though. So another extremely noob question can I root with no SD card? If so I'll probaly do it and use a different rom or something hopefully that will help. So enabling developer options with gpu rendering did not help sadly its basically the same performance seems like it. And yes I'm loving the android experience so far but I can say atm iPhone had way better performance as in speed and what not but hopefully if I can get this beast working right I'll be satisfied.

Yeah im thinking it could be a app on the phone but idk for sure and not really I actually tried it with factory reset a couple of weeks ago it was about the same experience... At just stock..
Alright guys quick update i actually just got my device rooted took like 2 freaking hours i kept running into issues anyways in the end it did get rooted but its basically acting the same... For instance when the phone cut on finally and finally starting to add all the information to setup my phone the menus were so laggy that it took me 10 mins just get through the setup process... and then on top of that i went into developer options and it froze up and had to reset settings application. I know that it said to do another adb reboot recovery after it finally started back for the first time into android and i did that... but its still extremely slow. And throughout out the setting up the phone process i naturally did not recover the apps from my old phone i wish there was a way to setup the phone just like it was before i rooted it.... I also would like to know what would be best option as far as mods and roms go... I have to have wifi calling as i have no signal in my house which is retarted... so wifi calling has to be on... thats about all i care about i dont need fm radio, or any of that other stuff. (edit) well i recently found out that i screwed up lol i rooted with dirty santa and i thought the wifi calling would only be screwed up with a custom rom boy was i wrong so the wifi calling doesnt work with rooting =( well im going to download the factory rom and reset it again lol.
