Ok so almost everybody has the new phone by now, the extra 10 dollars for the "4G" are real or not?
umm yes... and for me it has nothing to do with 4G... it has everything to do with UNLIMITED internet...
The radioshack guy told me that the $10 is gonna apply to all the lines. Sounds fishy but I didn't argue back. I've heard of the $10 added to line with the evo but why to all the lines? One of my lines isn't even a smartphone.
-------------------------------------
Sent via the XDA Tapatalk App
they can't charge you $10 on a line that isn't an Evo. He must be mistaken.
uhmmm, there has to be a workaround for this man!
Yeah the $10 is for all evo phones and sprints explanation was that the evo is an internet enriched device and will result in additional internet use, thus the charge.

I don't get it with the $10 complaint. You are still $30 cheaper than most. Deal with it. There is no way around it. Don't look for it. Unless you can make your phone report back to sprint that's its a cheap flip phone then no dice.

Is not a complain, is just a simple question, and YES, there's a workaround if you go to the Sprint Store to buy yours, they can give you and extra monthly discount of up to $20 on top of your employee discount if you have one.
One more time: I'M NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PHONE OR THE PLAN, i was asking a simple question here.

are you sure about that? i'm trying to get family plan 4 lines and with discount (23%) it comes to $150, so you're saying they'll low it to $130 if i buy from Sprint store?

I know they can do it, but you have to ask nicely lol, i'm not saying they WILL do it, every customer is diferent, but i know that they can do whatever they want with your account, last year i had data unlimited for about 4 month in one of my 3 lines until i derided to upgrade plans.

I had no idea that stating the obvious was flaming. Noted.
Edit: And the $20 discount is gone, that was a retention offer, and the RET1024 is gone as well. Sprint is not allowing a discount specifically for the Premium Data service. If you ask for it in conjunction with the PD, you will not get it.

I'm gonna guess that I was the only person who read that thread. It wasn't even directed at the OP. It was directed at the person who responded to the OP. All in all, flaming is flaming, I get it. I took this week off work so I wouldn't have to put up with all the "gimmie" customers, and it just bothers me when people give out incorrect information and we have to clean it up. If that's a flame, then so be it.

Well, if you feel that the information being given out is incorrect, a simple "That is not true. In reality, things are "x", "y", or "z"." This works much better, conveys the same message, and saves you from being rude to the person you are talking to (which in turn saves you from breaking Rule 2 of this site).
I don't mean to be harsh on you and I understand your position. But if you feel that something is incorrect, let's just say that being courteous goes a long way.
I on a everything family data plan and they didn't even mention anything about the extra 10 dallors.
I created a website dedicated to seeking out one question from Sprint, "Can you explain the fee?"
Check out their answers to my question @ explainthefee.com

And i'm gonna guess that i'm the only "gimmie" customer that will root the phone and try to avoid the $29.99/month or so for mobile hotspot just because it would be nice. And regarding the "incorrect information" please i know by fact, than the 95% of the people working in phone sales don't know anything about the product they are selling, they just try to sell base in a meeting (training) received. I guess you are in the other 5%, congratulations then.
Las time i went to a sprint store was because i want to change my number, so i did it but the could not reprogram the phone because "the phone had a custom software on it ( the dialer) " they toke it to the technicians and nothing, so i went home and did it by my self. By the way, it was not a 3rd party dialer, i just went to the registry and activate the dialer skin WINMO has. but once again, thank God you are in the other 5%.

So I said F-it, I'ma get a Nexus1. I call up TMo and they tell me the following:
$529 with no contract - ok
$179 with 2 yr contract - NICE
The only plan you can get gives you 500 minutes - WTF!?!?
The ****ty ass plan above costs $79/month - GTFOH...
You are stuck at that plan for 2 years unless you want to pay an extra fee - CLICK!
Don't they have an unlimited minutes plan for like $50 by itself... plus the data/text extra...
Why would they restrict your minutes, its stupid...
Anyone else deal with this?
Just buy the full price unsubsidised version and it will save you money in the long run. Then get a t-mobile plan with a free phone and add internet later on

Just to be sure - did they mention that the $79/month plan includes 500 minutes plus unlimited text plus unlimited data? It is really $39 for the 500 voice minutes and $30 for unlimited data and $10 for unlimited messaging, but to get the subsidy for the N1 you need to get all of that in a bundle.
They do have unlimited (contract) voice for $59/month, but you'd have to add text and data to it and that would end up $99/month for unlimited everything.
They also have unlimited (non-contract) voice for $49/month, but you can't get a phone subsidy with that plan.
In the past I don't remember having to pay a fee to switch to a more expensive plan - only for activating a new line or switching to a cheaper plan. You could probably sweet talk them into waiving the fees in order to get the higher monthly payment out of you if you escalate it, but I wouldn't bank on it.
The other option is to buy without a subsidy and get one of the Even More Plus plans which are $50 for unlimited voice or $80 for unlimited everything. In the end, you'll save in the long run for the up front purchase price.
If you are a gambling sort, then you could wait and see if the N1 (or an equivalently spec'd phone of some sort) is offered directly by T-Mobile and then you could get the cheaper Even More Plus plan and they'd let you spread the payments out on the full price on the phone over 20 months. That is really the best way to get a phone from T-Mobile, but it only works for phones they sell directly, not the N1 sold by Google. Using that system you pay nothing out the door, you pay about the same as someone on a contract for the first 20 months and then your monthly bill drops back to about $20 cheaper than the contract price when the payments are done. Contrast that to someone who bought a discounted phone and had to pay the discounted price (like $179) to get out the door, their monthly payments are about the same, and their monthly payments continue to be high even after they pay back the subsidy...

In particular, the plans issue has been discussed to death in the T-Mobile Nexus forum (not nearly as much info on the phone itself compared to this forum, but a lot more talk about T-Mobile plans - including info on a multi-step process on how to get one latched into a Family Plan):

Think of it as an investment. The extra $300 you're spending is a one time fee so you'll never have to deal with a carrier contract again.
As long as you take decent care of the phone, you'll be able to sell it for at least a couple hundred bucks when you're ready to upgrade again.
I bought an unlocked N1 and an Even More Plus plan. For $59/mo+tax I'm getting 500 anytime minutes, unlimited NW, unlimited txt, unlimited data.
Well worth it IMO.
You can have an unlimited plan if you buy the nonsubsidized version. That's what I did since I didn't want to lose it.
You can call customer service for tmobile and get bumped up to any of the even more plans. Maybe you should do some research before you start making claims about something...
Well, hey! This will work if you have the Loyalty Pacakage before-hand
If you did have the Unlimited Loyalty package, before you got your N1 ordered, you will absolutely be able to get the package back. However, I'm waiting to hear from google as to the validity of this approach in terms of their TOS. I never allow companies to tell me what I can and can't have. Social Engineering for the win!
1. Call t-mobile, state you want your unlimited loyalty back
--- They will state, it is automatically changed when you order the phone.
2. State, when I was offered the Unlimited plan, I was informed that I had the ability to go back to my old contract at any time, even when you didn't offer the MyFave plan anymore, I'm absolutely certain that you can change it.
--- If they say that they cannot because it doesn't exist anymore;then
3. Ask for a supervisor. State that you want the plan back.
Don't allow them to work you, and talk about "Well that the way it works when you buy the Nexus One."
DISCLAIMER---"As this has worked for me on 2/1/10, I cannot garuntee that Google will see this as an 'upgrade', eventhough you will be paying more. Google may want to charge the remaining cost on the phone if you chose to upgrade."

That is what I was thinking, like why it is set that way... a la, it is not T-Mobile, it is Google that said you have to sign up for that specific plan. Not sure why they did it that way, but it is what it is. Want to complain about it, call up Google... want to change your plan after signing up to the unl everything plan, talk to t-mobile and switch after you sign up. Pretty well documented that you can do this and not get the Google charge back fee crap.
As well, it is amazing people can find this website, register, and make a new thread ranting and raving... but they can't spend half that time doing a simple search to find out a little more information.
I work for T-Mobile. He sounds like just a typical customer. No offense. Even if they were for some reason to say that you have a Nexus One, put your sim in another phone for a couple of days and let it update in the system and then you could do it with no problem. With that being said you can still just call them and say you want to be bumped up to the 1000 min or the UNL. Even more plus is still a better deal though...

Research? I did. I am. Me posting, is part of the research. I posted what I knew so far and what I was told. I was told I can not be "bumped up" to any plan unless I pay a fee. That is what I was told. Therefore, my "claims" are correct as of the time they were posted.

What happens here a lot is that people don't ever seem to take the time to do any research, and just fire off new threads every time they think of something instead of reading. There was a user the other day that had 5 threads that he/she originated all asking questions about often talked about topics sitting on the 1st page of Nexus General. I've seen thread after thread day in and day out on the same exact thing. So yeah, those of us that come here often get annoyed at new threads that have already been discussed in detail.
In fact what you're asking has been talked about so much that its not only on XDA, but Google's and T-Mobiles forums as well.
What you should have done when the rep mistakenly told you that the plan could not be upgraded (and you thought that doesn't sound right) is ask for them to confirm that information, and/or a supervisor. Google now is offering Phone support as well fielding ordering questions, though this is still best answered by T-Mobile directly. The 79.99 even more plan is the only option you will have at ordering to secure the subsidized price, but that doesn't change the contract details, and you are allowed to upgrade your plan (just like any other subsidized phone they sell) if you require more min.

Personally, my response was based on your OP taking a tone of "T-Mobile is stupid, who else thinks so" essentially. You were not asking is there any way around it, you were asking if anyone else had experienced the stupidity that is T-Mobile... yet, it isn't even T-Mobile who said that is the plan you have to sign up with, and T-Mobile is perfectly willing to upgrade you to a higher minute plan once you sign up. Add to that this exact topic has been talked about at agnosium, and at one point just a week ago, was the subject of 3 threads that stayed on the front page for nearly a week.
I wasn't trying to be rude. Your OP was rude in itself and ignorant. Those are two things that tend to illicit a "rude" response from members on here.
Nope... just as it says - the New T-Mobile Contract Sucks... this is the N1 forum, so I'm obviously talking about the N1 phone T-Mobile contract... I didn't say T-Mobile sucked... I've been with them for a long time and I plan to stay with them but what they are offering with the discounted N1 sucks. (Mostly bc is the only plan you can get.)
"Anyone else deal with this?" can easily be interpreted in many ways - like: How did you deal with it? lol What did you do?
Not sure how/why you took it as has anyone else "experienced the stupidity that is T-Mobile"...
My post was neither rude nor ignorant - it was misinformed. Everyone's informative and pleasant replies have seen that I now possess the information I was looking for.
And just for the record: "just last week" is long time for a busy forum.
My topic didn't kill any unicorns...
Everyone will be just fine.
From what I've read on the TMo forums, after 120 days, you're able to change to the Even More Plus plans without any penalty from google. This is what I plan on doing.

Yeah I heard the same thing. I was planning on doing this.
Look dude let me make this very simple for you.
Your Concern: 500 Minutes is NO WHERE NEAR enough for you and for some reason you were informed that you cannot change this plan for two years.
The Answer: NOT TRUE. I upgraded to 1000 minutes Even More Plan two weeks after I got my nexus one (I was a new tmobile customer and chose to go the subsidized route)
Regarding the 120day wait...I believe this has to do with the Even More PLUS plans only. OK?
Bottom Line: YES YOU CAN GET MORE MINUTES ON YOUR NEXUS ONE
If any of you fellas wanna get on the employee referral program shoot me a message with your email, ill send you the link later today. I can only go up to 30people so first come first serve. Doesnt work for the simply everything plan. Just my token of appreciation to the hard workers around here. Ill reserve a few spots for the makers of fresh as that is the rom I use.
*EDIT* CLOSED!! Limit has been reached. Sorry guys no more can be accepted!
I think i've answered everyone's questions, if I didn't, shoot me another PM. Again you can expect your e-mails sometime today hopefully if it's not extremely busy you should receive them by 6-7pm est time - if it's busy just wait a little longer, but they will come today.
The discounts include more minutes and it's roughly $10.00 off additional more individual plans and $20.00 for family plans.

As for you, when you work at Sprint and log into your system there is a link this the referral program, then at the bottom it says "Click here to print these as business cards! Hand them out to friends or people you meet!" ... Yeah, abused when Sprint themselves encourages you to give them to strangers...
Is this the Everything Plus Referral Plan? I'm on it now (signed up using Russ McGuire, VP of Strategy's well-known and publicly-disclosed info), but I'm not sure its actually worth it. I'm saving a few bucks a month, but the downside is that I'm now right below the monthly payment amount to qualify for Sprint Premier status. If you factor in regular handset upgrade costs, I think I'm coming out behind.

That's exactly my problem. The EPRP plan is right below where I need to be for Premier. I have TEP, which would put me over the threshold, but only the plan price counts. I have suspicion that they planned it that way.

It depends on the plan you receive. It's $69.99 for individual and $99.99 for family to qualify. So yes, there are some that will put you under the threshold to qualify for premier status, but if you've been with us for 10+ years you're always going to be premier... Yea I know, that's a long time
So before this even spirals out of control I want to make something very clear:
Sprints extra $10 is complete BULL****. There is no logical sense in it whatsoever. To all who disagree: gtfo my thread.
Before we begin this might test the boundaries of your ethics a little bit but that is something you will have to deal with yourself.
Call Sprint customer support and tell them you want to apply an employee discount. Tell them you work for UPS and you overheard some co-workers saying that they get 25% off their monthly plan and that you were very interested. If they ask for an email which is almost certainly guaranteed that they will tell them that you are a part time employee and that they do not give part time employers email addresses. They will make up some bull**** blah blah but tell them that your co workers all are part time and that they have the discount etc. Don't let them win. The rep I spoke with eventually just put in my sprint PCS email and a few days later I got a confirmation saying that my discount went through.
Best of luck. The extra $10 is absolute garbage IMO and all should be done to prevent these plans from turning into ATT/Verizon exploitations - which btw is slowly happening to Sprint as well. Do NOT trust these cell phone companies because one is cheaper than the other etc. Sprint can easily turn into an ATT if they decide to. They offer the cheapest plans right now out of NECESSITY to the company not out of good will.
Are people really STILL *****ing about that $10?
Yes. Now gtfo my thread you nub. $25% discount is nothing to be frowned at and is well worth it considering Sprint still makes a profit.
if you dont like paying that 10 dollars, get another ****ing phone you ****ing troll.
How the **** do you pay your bill every month? Obviously you are a broke ass trailer trash, do you even own an evo or you just came in here to *****?
now you GTFO outta my ****ing forums
OK so I'm the nub? Not the guy who joined in July doesn't even have enough posts to post links and is telling everyone to commit fraud?
So wait wait wait. You bought and signed the contract willingly knowing that you are going to pay the 10$ extra and yet you are upset by it?
You, sir, are an idiot.
We've been through this before, and these threads are always deleted. Morality aside, these scam threads don't belong on xda.
Sent from my blah blah blah blah.
It's for 4G or to support Sprint's 4G network and the massive amount of data being used. If you don't like it, go ***** somewhere else. You're never going to get rid of it, and Sprint is still the cheapest even with it. Be thankful we're not being limited on our data like AT&T and grow the hell up.

Let's put it this way. It's $10 extra for a network with uncapped bandwidth. I say worth it.

As an fyi, if you are a member of Navy Federal Credit Union, you get a 23% discount. I just happened to pay with my card at the store and they told me about it.
Don't Get Us In Trouble
What part of this rule isn't clear to you? Let me highlight the "between the lines" bits that you should have picked up on ...
9. Don't get us in trouble.
Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things that will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably don't want to do it here either. This does not mean we agree with everything the software piracy lobby try to impose on us, it simply means you cannot break any laws here, since we'll end up dealing with legal hassle caused by you. Please use common sense: respect the forum, its users, and those that write great code.
Forum Rules, Please Read!
Just when it appeared that Sprint was finally pulling their head out the sand, they finally have good (rather, great!) devices, they are rolling out the fastest network available in many cities, they fumble, pathetically. Kinda like handing it off on the 1 yard line, running back jumps over the pile and ball gets knocked loose, game over, you lose.
Effective now, if you are getting ANY employee discount, they are discontinuing it on every line after the first two:
"Discount Policy Change Notice
Effective 8/27/10, discounts will no longer apply to the monthly recurring charge for Add-a-Phone lines beyond the first two lines on family or share plans."
And if that weren't enough, if you have any add-ons (regardless of if it is first, second, or 5th line) your discount is gone too.
Discount Policy Change Reminder
"As a reminder, effective 8/1/10, employee/member discounts no longer apply to add-on services with a monthly recurring charge of $29.99 or less. Examples include, but are not limited to, Messaging Add-Ons, Data Packs, Data Premier."
Pathetic.
Anyone who wants to tell me "well if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else" save yourself the time, I plan on it.
That's quite the misleading thread title to get us to look at old news.

So what? If not getting discounts that MOST people don't get anyway, is a deal breaker for you ("waaah, I'm no longer in the special club"), then buh-bye.
If it's a matter of not being able to afford the STANDARD rates... then I say, learn how to manage your damn $$.
Such a sense of entitlement in America these days. C'mon people, the biggest hurdle in a lot of people's lives is their own ego.
Good luck finding what Sprint offers for cheaper even without the discount.
Yeah.. old news man
Your thread title suggests they are discontinuing ALL discounts, not just on the added lines. Considering my 27% discount only saves me ~$5 on my $20 added line I'm not sweating it. Not to mention (and I could be mistaken) I believe this applies to FUTURE lines, not current.. My discount is still there for my 3rd line.. guess we'll see when my next bill drops..

Couple of tips for you:
1) Read original post, already mentioned I was leaving, has nothing to do with being in a "special club" rather Sprint, not me, Sprint, changed their terms. I made my decision.
2) I would be willing to compare W-2's with you, I can assure you that my money is a) being managed far more effectively than yours and 2) there is more of it to manage.
3) Learn definition of entitlement. Why do you think anyone offers discounts? As an "entitlement"?!!? I think the word you are looking for is "incentive" and I have lost mine with Sprint.

I edited the title. This is definitely for existing lines, I already had the discussion. It is also new news to me because I have electronic billing and you have to click a hyperlink to see it. Seriously, you have to click a hyperlink. All the other text is printed and a major change is announced and you have to click a hyperlink, I'm just saying.

1) I did read, and said, "Buh-bye". So why are you still here?
2) What are you, 5? I manage my money just fine, and something tells me that if you are so up in arms about losing discounts that don't amount to much over the course of a year, then a) your money ISN'T being managed better than mine, not that it matters either way. b) WTF makes you believe you know where my 6 figure annual salary lies?
3) I know the definition of entitlement, and you are displaying a sense of it with your words. Boo-hoo, you don't get a discount anymore, so you're going to stomp away mad like a child and go elsewhere. Discounts aren't incentives, they're perks. The incentive with Sprint is that you still get better rates than any other major carrier, and an awesome phone.
Now shut up and color.
/buh-bye, don't care, hate Sprint more.
there are other .. providers that might be cheaper..
Try metroPCS or similar companies in your area. the only thing is that their service is limited to local area and you pay for roaming.
but for the big 4... it will be hard to get a cheaper plan.
....
PS.. that does suck that sprint did that. They should at least grandfather the current users and plans.

I appreciate your civility, obviously some true losers on these forums. My point was not that I want something cheaper, rather that Sprint makes a poor business decision by removing something they offered as an incentive to encourage people to sign up for their service. Would I have signed up with Sprint without the discount? Absolutely not. Not because I can't afford it, (that's just such a lame argument and one that I guess its those who can't think of first) but you look and see what you are getting for you money and you make the decision. I was paying less, I was getting less. Now I might be able to pay marginally less but its not worth it. My post was to inform as I just learned this. Surprised to see so many people so passionate about their cellular provider.
Can't imagine what would happen if I insulted their water company.

Really? In what advertisement campaign, might I ask, did you see this as a selling point to the general public?
I don't really care if you don't like Sprint, to each his own. However, you're leaving over a matter of a few dollars a month that was never promised to you to begin with... and it's Sprint's poor business decision?
Take this for example, I spent 14 years in the Air Force, and over that time, many stores and companies offered various levels of military discounts. Many of them stopped for one reason or another, and there were some military members who complained, "Lowe's (or whatever store) doesn't do military discounts anymore, I'm not going there." But most of us knew it was originally something that the chain did to show appreciation, and it simply came to a conclusion as things do, and we would then pay full price for purchases like everyone else.

It was never promised to me? How do you think I got it? Magic? Did I ever say it was offered to the General Public or in advertising campaign? I said it was offered as an incentive to get people who would otherwise not use their service to use their service. Do you think they would offer it if they didn't have to?
Sprint's poor business decision?
If I have to explain that, I will just leave you wondering.

Obviously, they DON'T have to, which is why they terminated those discounts.
Discounts are the exception, not the standard. It's not a poor business decision to charge people the amount that is stated in the standard rates. If I have to explain THAT to you, then well...
I'm contemplating words that start with the letter "M"... moron.

Being new to the board I can honeslty say there are some real ****-heads on here. Then you have the people who may come off in the wrong way. Still take stuff with a gain of salt when in a fourm online.
As for the discount I have not seen or heard of anything about it, not saying I don't care. I truely do. I have worked for Sprint when it was the PCS network. One thing that my manager said that has proven time and time again is that Sprint is the LEADER in the celluar busniess. When they make a move to do something all the other cell phone compaines follow. interesting when sprint announce the Everything Plan I was expecting chaos. I have a 23% discount. My bill is $160 right now. Without it its $190. $30 is the difference with 2 phones. Even with one phone on AT&T or any other network I would not have the same thing. Plan to Plan and Add-ons ..Etc. I would be paying close to the money I pay now.
my opinion - if its 1 user 2 phones. Drop the other phone and pay a cheaper rate. If it's 2 users 2 phones. get that other person to pay there half of the bill. You might already know this, so lets move forward.
As you can see Cell Phones are not Analog anymore!! So chances are as we move forward they are going to require more and more data or coverage.
I feel your pain. We live in the US, so by proxy we are going to get screwed when big corps. like this make these desicions. I hope I wasn't rude or being a douche but stop crying about $30 or less discount or plan changes.

The hyperlink is on a secured link. I actually have to be logged into my account but here is a screen shot. Seems like there are people who don't know that the "Employee Discount" doesn't mean you are a Sprint employee, just means you have a job, which many are clearly (and understandably) lacking.

If you take a business class someday, perhaps it will be clearer. I have neither the time nor the inclination to shed the light on this for you and I doubt you have the ability to comprehend.
I love these threads. Boo Hoo, they are taking away my discount. I heard that they are creating a new cell phone providor called crymeariver, you might want to check them out.
So today Verizon has finally succeeded in screwing me out of my unlimited data package. Check this out. So my girlfriend goes into the Verizon store to get an upgrade to her phone to a smart phone. The chick behind the counter told her that I had a 4gig package and i only use around 3 gigs a month, so if she turned it into a shared data plan it wouldn't cost any extra. So I get off work and she tells me she got a new phone, blah blah blah, sharing 4 gigs of data. So I called up Verizon and told them the situation and they gave me an email I could write a complaint too and that they don't offer the unlimited package anymore so it would be impossible to switch me back. So not only did they lie to my girlfriend they also pretty much told me to get fu#%ed.
Yeah this is a complaint post, but I also wanted to thank all the devs who made this a great a phone, and because I am leaving Verizon I will have to switch my phone. Verizon and their cdma standard strikes again!
Thanks again to all the devs, i'll be sorry to see my Play go.:crying:
Att xperia play ftw

Yes, no and maybe. But what would you do? Stay with them after they lie to you or yours? I don't know about you but when a company I pay 150 bucks a month takes a big steamy dump in my mouth, I really don't think I want to do business with them.
So yeah maybe the next company might squat down and take a dump too, but I'll give someone else the benefit a doubt for a while.

That's learned helplessness. Look it up if you don't know what it is. Don't ever eat **** just because you feel like you can't make a difference.
Also, op, threaten to leave and they should give you unlimited as well as some credit to your account. If they don't then bounce to another carrier. Plenty cheaper than v.

Or call up the corporate ladder. Seriously, if someone you talk to on the phone doesn't help, ask to speak to their manager. Follow it up the line or send emails. There is no reason why that representative's deceptive practices should be okay, even to the company. Especially if they want your business. Tell them you're cancelling your account and aren't going to pay that cancelling fee. That's the thing that'll make the difference.
As for me, unless something like that happens first, I'll be switching when my contract is up at the end of next year. Switching to Virgin Mobile, who has actually started getting some pretty decent phones lately. Prepaid ftw!

I already went as high up the ladder as I care too. If unscrupulous practices are ok at the salesman level, and taking into account the companies shift towards the money instead of the consumer, I am pretty much done with them. Epicly disappointed and done.
I think you are being a **** when you call. When I recently lost my unlimited data due to a retard rep at Walmart switching the code to a tiered data plan. I called them and was courteous and knowledgable. Being polite and firm at the same time got the rep to put the unlimited data SOC code back on my account, without even transferring me to another department or higher level rep. Try again, and lose the attitude ,no one will respect you.
.....but let's say you were already pretty rude and showed a high level of frustration and anger, all that is recorded into the notes section of your account for all reps to see. So be careful or no matter who you get transferred to they will politely tell you to fck off.

Your probably right, but I find it hard to be polite and courteous to company that lies and misrepresents information.
Don't take this the wrong easy as I hate VZ. But its not VZs fault for this.. it was the lying rep, probably get a perk for switching people to the Shared Data. I would call back explain politely the situation telling g them you feel this was a lie to your girlfriend and your account was switched to shared data against your consent. If you are the authorized user amongst the two of you then they should be a little more helpful.
