i have a dopod m700 aka htc love
before the upgrade I completely forgot to run the uspl program (i upgraded it with Vanilla WM6 ROM v1.3 Final WWE)
so, my pda stuck at bootloader screen
the screen shown 3 color mode with:
IPL 1.28.0001
SPL 1.28.0000
I try to run the program uspl, but my pda does no longer connect to ActiveSync
i try to upgrade again with the same rom but it stop at 3%, "image error"
i try to upgrade with another rom, still the same. "image error", invalid vender id", "invalid device id", "flash write error happened", etc
so.. what should i do now
????

After the upgrade is completed 100% , the device is freezed on a green screen and stopped. if i enter bootloader mode (Trying to recover to Original ROM WM5) it gives me 4 Colors Screen with IPL 1.08.0001 , SPL 1.08.0001 . And the upgrade process halt on 0% and the ROM Utility from PC exits with an error [300]
Plz need your advise urgently

I have russian CID (HTC__A07) and ROMUpdate doesn`t want to flash
how do u know what cid you have if its stuck in boot loader?
its an htc model i downloaded the rom fromhtc but it reboots after 2% and shows error ( invalid model id ) error 244 thats really odd i dont get it.
any help would be great.

i put a hermes ROM on Elf (soft black) and i think the SPL and IPL has changed
its now:
IPL 1.17.0002 ,is it right ?
SPL 1.17.0000, is it right?
and i tried to download the Offical HTC elf Rom but after 2% it restart and write ID Vendor ERROR
what should i do?
P.S:i tried to do SuperCID but it need The ActiveSync Progoram to be ON, im stuck on bootloader Screen

help!!i really no idea with my devices as i try to flash it to wm6,then it stop at 50% and reboot then hang at bootloader screen,i try to flash again but when it reach 1% it will restart and update error msg prompt, it said "the image is corrupted" if im using sd card flash,it come out 00068002 on the top of the"loading" words then go in the tri colour screen again. anyone pls help me pls!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I wish you guys would do a LITTLE research on how to flash stuff... I bet you don't have Hard SPL installed even though its splashed about all over the forum.....
Try to download the SHIPPED STOCK ROM again... It seems you have a corrupted download.
Once you have downloaded the rom, then reset Hermes into TRUE bootloader, not the failed flash you are getting.
On the PC, untick "Allow USB connections" in active sync the connect Hermes.
Double click on RUU_Wrapper.exe of the freshly downloaded rom. Follow prompts...
Pray......
Then, if it works, INSTALL HARD SPL V7...........

Hello friends i'm italian and sorry for my english.
I have a problem with my hermes200.
I have flashing on my tytn a rom kitchen using "package tool by bepe" with nb IPL, SPL, Mainsplash, Subsplash, ExtROM and GSM extrated from original rom htc tytn wm6 and a OS.nb extrated from rom kaiser ITA wm6.1.
When the flashing is termined the hermes don't start: push power botton but the screen is black and only green light is ON.
I have flashed original htc hermes wm6 but i have "error 226 flash write" when the process is at 89%.
I have IPL-1.04 and SPL-2.04. CID.
SPL 2.10, SPL 2.20, SPL 2.30 are not possibile to install.
i have try command with mtty tool:
- task 32 -> FF
- task 28 -> format storage success
- task 2a -> fix bad block
- info 8 -> much bad block Os Win CE
I've try to reflash the original rom but the problem is the same
The battery don't possibile to charge and level should be of 40%.

Hi guys,
my Orbit failed in the middle of a flash (in Windows with RomUpdateUtility).
Now I can only get to the bootloader, nothing else.
I think the CID unlock must have failed somehow, because using the SDcard method I cannot flash any cooked ROM. In fact I cannot flash ANY ROM now! I have tried the default shipped 02 ROM's but they all fail at 5% in RomUpdateUtility.exe thru windows, and also fail via the SDcard method (it sits there forever saying reading SD card).
Any ideas? Any other O2 ROM's I should try? Or can I send it for repair to any one off this forum? Should I bin it, maybe the flash chip is faulty?

I have the exact same problem only mine is stuck with IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 3.04.0000
When i try the original rom (o2 factory) it goes at 4% into Error 226 (something with the Extrom), any other rom wont work since no USPL... damn it.
Any Ideas on this?

I tried to flash my hermes with an other language Rom. I've forget to install hardspl. At 40% my device has reboot. I cant boot into OS. It freezes on HTC picture.
My device is CID locked. From germany T-Mobile.
Mtty tells me that my cid is: T-MOB101
If I try to flash the Hermes with a shipped rom, it reboots always at 1%. And it gaves an error like Invalid Vendor ID. Flashing with SD-Card brings an error, too.
In the Bootloader i see this:
Herm100
IPL-1.01
Herm100
SPL-2.03
Is my device now an herm300 or an herm100?
Please help me to flash it back!

hard reset your device then reFlash with Official ROM for Hermes

One of the error message will appear when you use the wrong RUU to upgrade. Bill will check whether the ID Model and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.

i hope this will help you. i had the same problem and i solved it las night.
you HAVE to flash the original ROM that its locked for - the cid as i can see is for this rom
