Has anyone else installed the hotfix for Music Stability Update, and everytime you select music on the touchflo HTC Sense crashes and goes thru a restarting phase. Are they sure this is not an error? Should it had been labeled Music INstability Update? Anyone solve this, other than restoring your phone? I tried to uninstall the hotfix and the issue continues to remain.
Easy to solve...
HTC Sense can be enabled by doing the following...
All Settings>>Today>>Items(should be at the bottom)>>HTC Sense
Hope that helps.
And yeah, I too had the same problem, though not the first time when I used the update...
I had a little different problem.everytime I tried to play music an error occured but Sense still showed up though I couldn't press anything. The problem was with sd memory card. after formating it, everything started to work normally. maybe it's worth a try.
I had a similar problem and i didnt do an update, all i did was turned my phone back to default and it fixed it, i only lost a couple of programs i installed but other than that all was fine and still kept all of the info from my memory card.

Hey all,
Everytime i plug my headphones in, the song im currently playing will skip at random. It works fine when im using the speakers though.
Same thing happens on Windows Media Player.
Nitrogen and pocketplayer seem to work fine though.
Anybody else have this issue?
And are there any solutions?
I indeed have the same problem but found no solution, also sometimes start playing randomly while I don't use Sense, very annoying if I'm using Nitrogen
I've even noticed this happen in Sense sometimes, not sure whats causing it, its very annoying.
I think I have the same problem as you guys. I think I may have fixed it by disabling the auto devicelock feature. I only tried this a couple of hours ago, but so far it has completely solved the problem for me. If you would like to try it, change the value of HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\ DeviceLockWhenSuspend to 0 then soft reset. I found I can still lock the device manually without problems.
Hey thanks!
It seems to have worked, for now.
I'll report back in a few days.
Crap, the problem still persists.I guess i'll just stick to nitrogen...
My sound will randomly stop working. This includes all sounds, such as the keyboard, selecting items on the homescreen, and watching movies or listening to music. A restart will usually solve the problem, but I have no idea what's causing it. Anyone else experiencing this or have a suggestion? Since a restart fixes it, I assume it is software related. I am running a fresh install of the most current EdenX ROM.
Anyone else?
I've flashed all the ROMs, used the unbricking procedure, wiped data and cache 1,000 times. Surely someone else is seeing this?
This has been happening to me as well, except that when my sound cuts out my Adam also emits a very loud static noise from the speakers. If I click things after that, it either makes the static noise or no noise at all. It has happened on every rom I've tried, including stock, and only a reboot will fix it. I emailed support and they asked me to send them a recording of the noise (I had offered to make them one to help them diagnose the issue).
I finally figured out what was causing this for me. I was restoring apps using Titanum Backup and the backup from my Android phone. There was something in there that didn't play well with the Adam, so it's not happening anymore since wiping everything and installing each app one by one.
The new google play music keeps crashing, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It just says Google Play Music has stopped working. Anyone else getting this or know a fix?

If it makes you feel any better, this is a cross platform, cross ROM issue. I am having the same problem with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and I have seen the same problem reported on S3s, S4s, Droid Bionics, etc.
I keep looking to see if Google is providing an update, but no apparent response despite the growing chorus of complaints and reports.
I had this issue when I flashed the latest Paranoid Android alpha update and their new gapps.
I flashed previous gapps and updated everything and I'm good now.

I had this problem out of nowhere yesterday morning. I removed extensions, etc. Nothing had changed since it had worked the day before, other than their new "listen" rollout, or that pandora competitor.
It would immediately crash with an "aw, snap" every time, within a millisecond.
So I went here: support.google.com/googleplay/?rd=1#contact=1
and filled that out. Got the auto response email with some pat, boilerplate problem solving stuff.
But I didn't do ONE THING, and it fixed itself.
I have a hunch that they get receipt of that, and check your account and fix it behind the scenes. That's the only thing I can think of, because I didn't do a thing, and it stopped working.... and started working again after I didn't do a thing (other than try to remove extensions).....
that support troubleshooter may have done the trick. I am back up and running.
I had the same problem when upgrading to Play Music 5.0.something; what I did to overcome the FC's:
1. Clean cache Download Manager
2. Clean cache Play Music
3. Clean cache Media Storage
4. Reboot
I had the same problem and uninstalled updates to roll back to the prior version. Then on Friday, I saw the update pending and decided to try again. Somehow, it did indeed fix itself. However, what I notice now is that it likes to un in the background on its own from time to time -- enough that it seems to be interfering with battery life . . . .
Works fine for me, never had an issue. I don't use it though as I don't listen to music on my phone
Hi everyone. I am from India. After the recent BPH7 update i am having lots of issues with the new gallery.
It just freezes at least 4 to 5 times a day. I have to restart my phone to solve it. Infact today its freezed wveytime i tried to open it.
I had clicked some lovely pics 3 days ago. However when i tried to see them on my gallery, I just couldnt see the clarity after zooming in. They all are blurred. Earlier they werent.
Any solutions? Hard reset seems the only solution .
Any response? The gallery invariably freezes everytime i open it.
I had that issue but a quick reboot fixed it for me.
I'm on complete stock with the EU Exynos version if that's relevant.
Suggestion: try taking your memory card out and see if you can see any photos stored on your internal storage; this would help you eliminate the possibility of it being a slow/faulty memory card however unlikely that is.
However, if you have the same issue, I'd recommend a hard reset as that usually does the trick.
Try connecting it to Samsung Smart Switch or whatever their PC companion program is called now, back everything up of course.
Good luck buddy!
I love the new update but it has made my experience with smule a living hell. It was working perfectly last night before the update then right after that's when I noticed issues with the app. Whenever I record the audio is skipping and stuttering and I am unable to record any songs. All of the other apps I have used have worked fine it's just this one app in particular that I am having an issue with. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling and the problem still persisted. I use this app often and i really hope I can fix it soon. I also tried clearing cache and data and that didn't work either. If anyone could help me i would really appreciate it thank you
You Aren't The Only One
I'm experiencing the same thing you are with Smule. Maybe it's compatibility changes after the update to Nougat. Smule needs to fix it asap
However, I feel it might take a awhile. It took them so long to get phones on sync with audio and now they have to start over. S8 Samsung users in the future will not be pleased if this is still a problem. Maybe we could find something in our settings that would help besides the application itself.
Here is some quick fix i found myself incidentally..
while recording if you realize the mic is not working, immidiately lock the screen then unlock it, the mic will be working after 2-3 second, sometime it takes to do another lock and unlock, then you can restart the song and mic will be working properly... this will continue for several song until th problem recur, then lock and unlock your phone again. for now this fix works for me
