Damn 2.2 is a hell of an improvement...
Tweaked a bunch of stuff and redid my benchmarks... I could probably squeeze a few more points out of these, but they;re still pretty damn high.

Curious, when I run that quadrant benchmark test, on the video tests it shows my frames per second as so low, like 12 fps for a lot of the tests except for the last one with the rotating planet? Is the nexus that poor with video graphics? I'm running froyo and the final results show very high, like 1300. But why such low frame per second?

my buddies mt Slide had 29.7 and 29.3..yikes lol.
I have herd that the Slide had the best GPU of any android phone in the US as of now. Its so weird.

Hey guys I was just wondering what's your best Quadrant score you've had on your HD2? I got what I think is a fairly high quadrant score today and I was fairly impressed.

I don't know the reasoning behind it, but from what lots of others have said, Quadrant scores are totally irrelevant. I can only assume it's because we're using ported software, rather than something that was built specifically for our devices. That's my guess anyway.
You beat my score!

Not totally irrelevant, but sometimes close to it. Quadrant standard is useless, pro is a little better.
The problem with Quadrant is:
1) Disk IO test, if you try some of the builds with very high score you'll see it's coming from IO, you can just mount that one part that Quadrant use in RAM, get crazy high score, but that won't speed up any other apps/system as you still use your NAND/SD card
2) Video speed, as on early Darkstone builds video score was very low as that build had something turned off (because with it's ON there were other bugs), but all apps were using some other API for video, so only Quadrant was slow on it
3) Quadrant tests doesn't show real system performance, so higher score might have no increase in speed in other apps. For example you can put newest CPU on your PC, but having only 256mb RAM would make everything slow, no matter how fast your CPU is, but CPU score would be higher
This doesn't mean that Quadrant is bad, in my opinion if you're using pro version and you get some component score (for example CPU score) higher on one build then on other - that's good. If you get total score higher, build might be actually slower then other build with low score.
this is the old 1.32... at 1200mhz cedes sd build.
with the new 1.72... dhd base i get max 5000 cpu points and approx 5000 I/O points with data on ext4 partition. that makes 2400 overall quadrant points. at 998 mhz. but if i put all data to nand the I/O points are 1250, but the device feels faster and boots faster. for now i only put app folder on the ext4 partition, dalvik and data remain on internal memory. i am still testing whats the best combo, it takes lot of time

I don't use Quadrant much but i got over 3000 before (using Darkstones SUPERAM)

The Sensation people are pissed because they're only getting 7-800ish and its a Qualcomm benchmark. Check out the Atrix. Eww.
The first test I ran I got 940-ish.
Then I rebootes the device, overclocked to 1.4 GHz and...
Score: 1047! Even above the Galaxy Tab! SGS2 FTW
Mine was at stock clock. I really don't feel any need to overclock this device.

I suppose the benchmark is not affected by the deodexed browser lag, because I got 920 on darky's KG1 (with browser fix which disables acceleration).
Done a reboot and ran again and got a better score of 933
Running stock UK KF3 firmware
1065 for me using Lite 2.2 tweaked to 1300.

Think my highest was 1330 or something like that.
That is on Doom's prerooted ROM, with a few apps removed, and Z's FPS uncap.
1k 1st run
1.1k 2nd run
1467, second run.
Stock 2.3.3 with SPB Shell.
Around 1200 in first run and 1430 in 2nd !!
1st run 930, 2nd run 1109, 3rd run 1030.
How are you guys getting 1400+?
I'm using the prerooted ROM, but thats it.
Here's my best using Ewjet ginger rom.

1st run 1300+ 2nd 1492
The GB update has tweak the I/O from 500-600 on 2.2roms to 700+ in GB
1st run 990
2nd run 1230
With basically everything I need installed.
Seems about right. I always got a bit lower scores than the rest of you whichever ROM I used. I'm guessing it's component imperfections
I always get higher score in Quadrant Advanced(1.1.6 and below) than in Quadrant Standard. I have got 1800+ in Quadrant Advanced using MIUI 1.7.22 with DooMLorD's kernel. Better use Quadrant from Market to report the scorers ?
In Wolf's 2.3:
Quadrant Advanced : 1450
Quadrant Standard : 1121
1020-1040 for 4 times of trying, never get below 1k but also never get above 1.1k.....using WB TW GB 2.3.3
1004 first run
1176 second run
Quadrant Standard
1450 first run.
Using WB 2.3, I got ~950 the first run. By the 4th run, I got 1304. Linpack is between 36-37.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
3rd run 1307 !! Didn't see that coming
Highest I got is 1377..
with some tweaks from Z, and 2.1 teaks (im pretty sure it doesnt work, but i added it anyways lol)
quadrant stnd - 1683 with some of my tweaks, but i go back to my miui, on this backstab lags like hell , after my tweaks , it doesnt , on my miui all games without lags. I tried asphalt 6 is so laggy on stock 2.3.3 after my tweaks not on mtt miui to. The stock 2.3.3 is good but after very good tuning, but customs will better than 4 ever, maybe, . On miui i have a lot of more points in quadrant, but for me these all quadrant score testers are one **** of falses. I use them only for checking how many fps i have on my kernel, nothing more.

what's your configuration? I tried with 1.7ghz, aggressive task killer in sistem tuner app, 2048mb cache on sd and noop setted in I/O scheduler section.. the score is around 6900-7000 points

Check your voltages, try to reduce it to 1325-1350 for 1.7 (default is 1450). That'll help it run cooler, and make it less likely to lock up.
But that said, you may just have an Exynos chip that is not happy at that speed, there is no guarantee that they can all do 1.7.

Quadrant
Linpack
Antutu

And here's a fairly recent benchmark of the Droid Razr with some other phones...you can use this as rough basis of comparison.

TL;DR: The Note really kicks ass when you crank up the clocks!
@croak I have tested your same combination rom/kernel and for now seems the best! with performance gov and cpu set to 1.7ghz the score is very higher in all tests
our note is one of the most promising device, estimating that the development is just at the beginning point
What's going to be amazing is how fast the upcoming A15-based Exynos will be. Clock for clock, it's supposed to be 20% faster than A9 cores. And they will be shipping at 2Ghz!
I expect that the A15 Exynos dual-core will outperform a quad-core Tegra 3 and use a lot less power doing it. And it'll be cheaper to make.

One of the 3 can not be right. If it outperform a quadcore hardly will be needing less power. If it needs less power hardly will outperform quadcores and at end if both are true then no way to be cheaper!!!!

thats how it is, 59fps is the limit. kernel developers can raise the panel frequency, which can raise the fps to 109. but its not real, so they stopped doing that. what was your highest antutu, i bet i beat it with my n7. anyways, your 59fps on your n7 is is better than what you get on your sensation, you failed to take in account screen size, more pixels to push.
Thanks for the reply, i get 8229 with my sensation clocked at 1836mhz and with my N7 clocked at 1800mhz i get 9815 on antutu. Seems a bit naff to be quite frank, my dual core phone can nearly bench the same as the Tegra quad. I found some kernels with the fps limit disabled and i still only get 59 fps

i get 12000-16000 on antutu depending which kernel im using(and cpu speed), at 59fps. but its the screen size really that is the difference. and antutu isnt a good benchmark for graphic performance. its outdated and the test itself limits the scores.
here, nearly twice your sensation.. id say youre using the wrong rom/kernel

To be fair i am severely disappointed with this device, never had any problems with any if the HTC devices and within 3 days of owning this the micro usb cable has fallen apart, the screen has lifted in one corner and is displaying stress marks on the LCD trying to contact google or asus is becoming a stressful task.
What ROM is eveyone using? I'm guessing cyanogenmod??
I just run stock. It doesn't matter what rom/kernel I wind up running, it never seems to be as stable in the long term as the stock setup. Since I have bought my N7 I have flashed a ton of roms to it, when heading back to stock for a while out of boredom I found that I have an up time of well over a month now. I never got that lucky with custom roms after a week or two I always had to reboot it because of random issues including lagging and slow performance, to apps misbehaving.
