i need ur help...i got I-mate Jam...and i recently updated it to Cotulla wm6.1 Professional,i m facing a problem of automatic shutdown and no radio.....i hav searched alot at this forum and also at google bt didnt get the suitable radio...anyways i live in Pakistan and want to get a proper radio.....and yes i saw on youtube a man is using Manila 2d at his I-mate Jam....can u ppls plz tell me how to get that????

I ve get the radio rom by an Update bevor with the original latest software from my provider.
and where i can get this radio....i saw imate jam on xda wiki....i downloaded
OS 1.13.01 / ExtROM 1.13.129 / Radio 1.12
this from there.....and followed the instructions bt i m not able to install on jam in windows 7....and i dont know the acutall radio that work with me......
if u can help me out at this i will be very thankful to U

"Was muß ich bei Vista/Windows7 32/64 beachten". Its in German ,but easy to understand. Of course of your own risk !
You can change the Driver when switch the device in Bootloader Mode and connect to PC.
Camera+Power+reset. Then Step by Step change the driver from "Windows7" to Driver which is in "active sync" dowloaded.
I flashed with this a Magician, a Wizard and a Blu Angel without Problems. But carefull ! Follow all Steps !

if you open it and remove your USB settings to touch them are starting to install programs ... not give their restart and still finish as I have stated above screen USB / Serials
To change the USB Driver , Magician must be in Bootloader Mode (Camera+Power+reset ) Then you make the procedur like in the manual i gave you and change the USB Driver from Win7 to Driver from active sync .
Use MaupgradeNoID.exe for Update.

dont wat the proble can run adaptrom, the host always cut connection.
Not sure if its my less english or if it's your english, but your posting is not very clear for me.
I think your connection get closed when you try to upgrade to WM2003SE using the exe file, or am i wrong?
This causes from a T-Mobile ROM installed on your Device. You have to downgrad efirst ( choose the 3.17.03) and then all should work fine....

My old good friend c500 just passed away and I bought a second hand i-mate SP3.
Now, I would like to get the same feeling i.e. to be able to install my Orange c500 rom 4.2.2.1 on my "new" i-mate SP3 ?
But...it fails.
Would any of you be so kind to help me with the necessary steps to follow ?

U need to downgrade your bootloader and then flash with orange official update...
the bootloader U need is 1.1.0064 (hope i am telling right)
but u need to CID unlock your phone first...
U may follow karhoe's guide to install the dowgraded bootloader (remember U require the above mentioned one, not that which is on the karhoe's blog...)
or give me some time to upload it here for U

think you flash it to the wrong ROM or there is a bug on that ROM.
what ROM version/info that you use now?
probably you use ATOM ROM to flash it to ATOM EXEC.
I think its the atom exec ROM only,but in any case i tried ur version of WM6 while installing it says c:/windows/temp failed and it stopped there any suggestions on installing ur ROM on to it

make sure you copy all the files into c:\windows\temp and the DSUU will ok in XP, do you Vista? if yes then read XDA-Wiki to install the rom via sd-card. (becareful)

copied ur exe to c/windows/temp and installed wm6 but the problem is when the STEP 5 Radio flashing comes it doesn't go further then this step it is always in 0%
is there any way i can install the radio
it will be very helpful if u give me any solutions

Need imate jam PM10A (ROM VERSION- 1.12.00 WWE) rom upgrade .

It should be on the FTP... Be careful though - i damaged my magician with that rom, though i was flashing off of Vista and that was over a year ago... Also, apparently, 1.12 is only for SOME magicians, cant remember which, but don't quote me on that
why not go for 1.13?

i hve got an imate jam. i was trying to upgrade my ppc rom and download the latest one rom update from the clubimate.com. i have windows vista and when i was updating it so in the middle it gave me that a connection error. although the mobile was correctly connected to the pc via usb. when i saw the screen of my mobile so there was USB written and nothing else. so now when ever i restart my ppc by removing its back so it resets and i cant do any thing to bring it to its original position.
i dont want any upgrade but i want my ppc back. as normal.
can any one pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee help me

Not to worry. I have not personally tested with Windows Vista so, if you can use Windows XP, it would be great.
There is a special button sequence to bring the I-Mate to a Factory install mode. Then you will be able to flash the ROM again.
I can't find the sequence at the moment, but drop me an e-mail and I will surely come back to you.

you should try the Windows Mobile 6.5.1.7

as you suggested i tried to install WM6.5 using the WST tool it was not successful and end up with bricking the phone now it is not even turning on
you need to gif some more info , if you want to get some help.
what did you flash ?
did you flash a hspl ?
what rom was on the phone ?
