It should be on the FTP... Be careful though - i damaged my magician with that rom, though i was flashing off of Vista and that was over a year ago... Also, apparently, 1.12 is only for SOME magicians, cant remember which, but don't quote me on that
why not go for 1.13?

i hve got an imate jam. i was trying to upgrade my ppc rom and download the latest one rom update from the clubimate.com. i have windows vista and when i was updating it so in the middle it gave me that a connection error. although the mobile was correctly connected to the pc via usb. when i saw the screen of my mobile so there was USB written and nothing else. so now when ever i restart my ppc by removing its back so it resets and i cant do any thing to bring it to its original position.
i dont want any upgrade but i want my ppc back. as normal.
can any one pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee help me

just do it again that iamte jam rom update to 1.12..............got to imate.com and download jam_update1.12

Not to worry. I have not personally tested with Windows Vista so, if you can use Windows XP, it would be great.
There is a special button sequence to bring the I-Mate to a Factory install mode. Then you will be able to flash the ROM again.

Installed T-Mobile WM2003 from the ROM kitchen.......... Network very weak and the phone has become very slow. Now I want to move back to O2 original ROM (WM2002).
When I try to install the ROM I get an error message :
"ERROR: GetConnectionType - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. error getting connectiontype"
and the 02 ROM installer cannot communicate with my XDA.
Can someone please help me get back the original 02 ROM, with sim unlocked???

If you used the kitchen to cook your ROM then it shouldn't have any impact on the RSU part. Plz give more details on your RSU version, your network MHz and what types of problems you have ?
BTW, did you upgrade to 4.01.00 or 4.01.16 ?
To get back to PPC2002, you can use the SD method
if you upgraded to the 4.01.16 I had this problem too.
you can't use the rom.exe method via the cradle if you've put this tmobile rom on your XDA, you have to use the SD flash method.
I upgraded it to 4.01.16
Radio version installed is 4.21.00
PROBLEMS:
a. The XDA has become very slow (I have a lot of free space on the XDA)
b. Network signals are weak.
Going back to 2002
I received from a friend a pre-release version of t-mobile ppc2003 a few months ago. He put it on my phone via a sd flash. T-mobile has just released (for free) on their website a final release of ppc 2003 and the one I am using is somewhat unstable at times. Does anyone happen to have t-mobile ppc2002 so that I can upgrade. Thanks.

a. there is a bug in WM2003 and there is a tiny program that should be placed in the \windows\startup directory to solve it. The program is called Clear_Notify.exe ... simple search and you will find it.
If not, then it's a Radio problem that impacts the ROM part. Few hard resets may solve it.
b. if you mean the indicator on the window tray, forget about it ... the point is the ability of making/receiving calls. If you face real problems, I think it's the 4.21 RSU, but be extreamly careful ... upgrading the RSU is very risky especially with this RSU 4.21 on your device!!!!!!.

Hello everyone,
I upgrade to ROM 2.4.33.11 through the PC. Went well but the phone keeps hanging on me. So I tried another I-mate ROM 2.1.33.13, same problemhone hangs on me. I took the phone to service centre to flash it back to the original arabic version. After a couple of days I got it back in the same condition and I was told it can not be fixed!!??
I flashed the phone at home to 2.4.33.11, upgrade successful, but the device info still shows the old ROM: 2.1.33.13 No error messages.
I did not find the arabic ROM on the I-mate website, can someone post or point to where I can download the arabic version? Can someone help me fix the upgrade problem too?

I had spent lot of time searching for WM6 ROM for my imate ,while doing that I came across Qtek ROM namedas WM6 . After installing i came to know that it was a WM5 rom named as WM6. But i didnt gave up and after searching XDA i got actual WM6 rom and I uploaded it. The Version details of WM6 are :
ROM version 4.0.0.0 WWE
ROM Date 2/15/07
Radio Cersion 02.47.21
Protocol Version 4.1.13.24
Ext ROM version 4.0.0.0.3 PDAViet
But now i want to downgrade back to Imate WM5 original ROM. Kindly help me getting that done.

i have a JaMin 2 and i wasn't able to downgrade to the original I-mate Rom but u can downgrade to the NoID WM5 which is better than I-mate Rom

I mean do i run NoID ROM first and then execute Enterbootloader.exe and then Romupdate utility for my G4. i also face the same problem, my rom is WM6 fantastic b4, but after few times hard reset and soft reset and leave it for overnight all back to normal again... sometimes still cannot hear the caller voice.. i just soft reset again..... still no permanent solution yet...
one of the senior member suggested to re flash the ROM... but i'm still not sure how to do it

I ve get the radio rom by an Update bevor with the original latest software from my provider.
and where i can get this radio....i saw imate jam on xda wiki....i downloaded
OS 1.13.01 / ExtROM 1.13.129 / Radio 1.12
this from there.....and followed the instructions bt i m not able to install on jam in windows 7....and i dont know the acutall radio that work with me......

"Was muß ich bei Vista/Windows7 32/64 beachten". Its in German ,but easy to understand. Of course of your own risk !
You can change the Driver when switch the device in Bootloader Mode and connect to PC.
Camera+Power+reset. Then Step by Step change the driver from "Windows7" to Driver which is in "active sync" dowloaded.
I flashed with this a Magician, a Wizard and a Blu Angel without Problems. But carefull ! Follow all Steps !

if you open it and remove your USB settings to touch them are starting to install programs ... not give their restart and still finish as I have stated above screen USB / Serials
To change the USB Driver , Magician must be in Bootloader Mode (Camera+Power+reset ) Then you make the procedur like in the manual i gave you and change the USB Driver from Win7 to Driver from active sync .
Use MaupgradeNoID.exe for Update.

as you suggested i tried to install WM6.5 using the WST tool it was not successful and end up with bricking the phone now it is not even turning on
you need to gif some more info , if you want to get some help.
