HP6915 Mic/Speaker Problem (Echo Feedback)

Hi
I have being using the HP6915 for a while now. Recently, it seems that I am getting a lot of Mic/Speakerphone feedback (echo). This sort of feedback is when you point a mic to a speaker and get those loud echos and such.
I am not sure if this is a hardware problem or software though I have hard reset my phone and the same thing is still happening.
I have also tried both using a headset as well as a Blue tooth but the problem still persist.
Warranty is over thus I am at a loss. Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?
Appreciate the help. Feeling quite lost without a Windows Mobile now.

to solve your problem ,all you have to do is to flash your device like me i upgraded with the french rom on Orange from the link graciously given by Donoven in the thread here is the link :

I flashed the phone to the UK Rom and it is working now! After being down for over 3 months
Now just wondering what is inside the Orange Rom which some folks are praising.
Would like to know what some apps/software you guys are in everyone's most popular apps.
I'm currently using HTC Hom Customizer + HTC Home Plugin

Shadow battery always 100%!

Hi everyone, i just wanted to try to see if you guys had a solution to this problem. Ever since I bought my shadow, the battery is always at 100% and it never changes. Do you guys know if there is a fix to that or do i need to hard reset the phone. Thanks in advance.

Probably need to hard reset in order to fix it. The Excalibur has the same problem with carrier ROMs sometimes.

HD2 camera stopped working

hello i'm not too sure if anyone has had this problem before(yes i did do a search), but the camera on my phone has stopped working all of a sudden, it's as if the phone doesn't recognize the camera since all the shortcuts for it are gone and when adding pictures to contacts the option to take a photo is gone too If anyone could help a newb with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Also sadly i cannot return the phone to tmobile or even send back to htc since it was given to me as a gift and I have no paperwork to prove the purchase.

Are you running a stock ROM?

yes stock rom, the phone was working perfectly until a week ago I can't think of any apps that could've caused this since the only thing installed was resco file explorer. I did however try using one of the early ports of android on it but that shouldn't be the problem since everything was on the memory card

I've done a hard reset at least 4 times by now to no avail even updated the rom using the latest one on t-mobile us web site

you can try contacting HTC support in the US directly, since all US HD2's are still less than a year old, they might be willing to help...I think you're at the point you need to replace it or get it repaired since it already hasn't cleared up with the hard-resets.

Help with opal

hi nice guys! I have a opal at about 2 years, it ever worke fine, but for a few months ago, It started to work strange, it started "quickshutdown.exe" i tought it was a problem from the rom (using pajerm one) i've downgraded to the original one, but the problem stayed there...today I disassembled the phone started it with just the board and lcd fixing the battery with my hand to see if there is a problem with the cover power button, but nothing done, the problem keeps there... it acts like the power button were stuck always pressing.. anyone had something like this? any solution?!

bro i think it is not software problem or rom
maybe it refer to hardwares
so it's better to show your device to a an expert

thanks! i wanted to see if anyone had something like this... it was the gameover to the phone, i got on touch pro and one LG with android so im not gonna repair it anymore...

i did hard reset, softreset, flashing it back to basic room and zero result. Hopefully there's HTC engineer here
