Hi, I have just rooted my Nexus and flashed the Amon Ra Recovery image.
Now I want to flash a new ROM but I have problems...
Firstly (I just noticed) I cant download anything from the market... it just hangs at "authorizing"
and secondly I cant Boot in to recovery... it just hangs at the exclamation mark with the android!
Please help me! Have I done something wrong or is rooting after the official update to blame?
Thanks

I had a mytoutch 4g simlocked
I did unlock it with (TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off!!! Check this out even if you're rooted!!!)
I installed clockworkmod 3.0.0.5
I wiped all data preparing to install custom rom
after that I am stuck after installing the room with htc logo loob
I understand that some roms don't boot with clockworkmod 3.0.0.5
so how can i downgrade to 2.5.x
thank you

[ROM]Glacier_TMOUS_1.17.531.2_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.0 3.02.26_M_release

Glad you got it worked out. I feel the same way. With the bootloop issues. But i know the solution is out there and hopefully a quick search will point people in the right direction.
I cannot get this to work, in clockwork recovery 3.0.0.6. i get several cant mount errors, nothing works im stuck without a phone any help would work. I went from a gorilla sense rom to a thunderbolt rom, worked for 5 minutes then shut off and went into bootloops and to where my problem is at now

I'm trying to restore my htc tattoo to original state (for warranty return), currently its running Cyanogenmod with clockwork recovery. I restored original Android 1.6 from backup I made, but I'm having trouble finding information how to restore original recovery. I suppose the procedure is similar as to installing clockwork (I'm currently using clockwork) but with original recovery image instead of clockwork. I'm not sure where can I find original HTC Tattoo Recovery image?

Ok sorry for posting in wrong forum. I Flashed the supplied recovery image but now the only thing I get when trying to boot into recovery is the warning sign with yellow exclamation point and the phone lying next to it. Are all original recovery images the same? Maybe they vary like ROMs do.
Edit:
After some googling around it turns out that exclamation mark is actually the original recovery, sorry for false alarm and thanks. I'm still worried a bit about versions of recovery, can someone figureout that is not the recovery rom that was shipped with my HTC Tattoo? Thank you.

I found this post with instructions that worked for me. My OTA wasn't applied, but my phone wasn't bricked anymore.
First, thank you for any help!
I did look threw the forums, as best I could... I did see any solutions here that worked for me... saw some one another site.. they did not work.
I can no longer get into ANY recovery boot... Every time I do the buttons, to go into recovery... it show "booting into recovery" blinks, vibrates... and then boots into the phone in normal mode....
I recently had to flash it to stock with Odin.... which lost my root.... I tried to install TWRP , so I could root it... did not work... then used KINGOROOT, to root it, which it claims DID work (the rooting) , after two tries... and then it did allow me to go into "stock recovery" mode...
...so i then flashed TWRP with Odin... and ... now, again, I get not get ANY recovery mode to come up.
ARGH!!!!!!!
Please help??
I have a N900T.
Android 5.0
Baseaband: N900TUVUFOL1
I believe it is rooted now
As long as you're flashing the correct file, it should work.

I am flashing TWRP 2.8.7.0 which is the SAME file I used when I flashed it... a year ago?
I know that there is a new version of TWRP... but I have heard there are problems with the newer TWRP flashing ROM's....
On another site, someone said that the problem was that if you flash back to stock, the new (stock) bootloader has a line it it, to check that you can only use stock recovery file... ... >sigh<....
My "simple" project... to upgrade my phone... has become a night mare.....
2.8.7.0-hltetmo?
If it doesn't work, try cwm.

Got it fixed!!
Figured I would say how, in case someone else has the same problem.
I had already rooted the phone with "Kingoroot" , when I was trying to put TWRP on...
By downloading and running "TWRP MANAGER" from the play store, it was able to install it on my phone, and I am now able to boot into recovery.
Good luck!!
