Hardware Buttons Problem

Hi,i have a problem..
Everytime i press the central button (between the 'green call button' and the 'red call button') i have to re-align the screen
I tried to flash and reinstall the PPC but nothing changed,evrytime i power off or i put in stand-by my device it asks me the same thing: align screen

Xtrange problem.....
Maybe downgrading again to an original can fix this
but tell us more about your phone we need more info please.

912c Power Button acting funny

Hi,
I am using iPad 912c. I love this machine but the little silver power button is acting funny sometimes. Normally, when I press the button the screen should be turned off immediately. But sometimes the screen still on for 4-5s after pressing the button. First I thought I didn't press the button properly. But if I press the button several times the machine can remember how many times I pressed and switch the screen on and off (sometimes ask me if I want to turn off) like having a ghost inside. Looks like it has a buffer for the power button. I don't think it is the software problem. Because I tried to soft reset the machine. The machine still remember how many times I pressed the button before reseting and turn on and off the screen several times after the machine back on. It happens twice a week. Is it a hardware or software problem? If it is hardware problem the iPad should not know I pressed the button several times. This is not a popular machine but I am sure it is one of the best. Please help. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my Hp Ipaq hw6915. Now phone is after reset, and I can't finish pre-config (time, etc), because screen is always turning off. Please help!

No ideas...?
Is there any program, that can permanently desactivate backlight button..?
Or something...?

check if u have the same issues without the microsd
if u do (have issues..) then backup using spb backup (or any..) then hr your device and check if with a clean device all is good

WM 6.5 -> no shutdown

Hello,
i have flashed my HTC Touch to WinMo 6.5.
Win 6.5 works great! Except one thing, i can't shut down my device!
If i press the power button i get the standard-Message from Windows (the message looks like HTC Touch-Flo 3D), that if i shut down my files i haven't saved yet will deleted...
Then i press "Yes" and then... nothing... i'm back in my home-screen...
Anybody an idea?

I had this problem, just back up your files and do a hard reset
(this is done by pressing the reset button, then holding down the red and green buttons. Then when it asks you if you want to do a hard reset, press the middle button)

touch screen is not working .

i need your help with this problem , my HTC touch cruise touch screen stopped working and i have the Mobile sync with exchange and i'm unable to do anything before i put the password , even HARD reset is not working
even whn i try to connet to PC by USB cable it ask to unlock by enteriing password

While gps button pressed (under green button), press center D-pad button this will bring you to alignment screen it saved me from HR many times.
if this will not work try HR - while gps & explorer buttons pressed, press the reset button.
if this won't help try another rom using SDcard method.
if all will not help its probably hardware.....

HTC screen not responding

Have you tried a hard reset?
Make sure you have a backup of contacts etc
Then turn off phone (remove battery if you have to)
Hold the volume up and down button in (Make sure your pressing both up and down)
Then press power button it will show a message on screen to reset blah blah
release the volume buttons
push the volume up
then volume up again
see if that works

Have you recently changed anything on your device? i.e. new rom, USPL, HSPL, new app/software etc

Tell us before what you did to get the touchscreen not responsive... When you touch the screen, does the backlight get higher or not ?

one week ago, everything work ok, but yesterday just no touch response. I tried to hard reset it but when the hard reset start I can't tap the screen to continue the set up. only the volume and power buttons working. Any Advice, please..
reinstall shiped rom, and HSPL 1.14, not help

To hard reset device you do not need to tap screen
Simply turn off device or remove battery from device
If battery removed, re-insert it after a couple seconds
Hold down volume down and volume up and then press power on bottom
Continue to hold volume down and volume up until you are presented with white screen with text
Follow instructions and press volume up to hard reset

Try to full charge first your phone, and after then, the others what were mentoined before, hard reset or flash again correct ROM !
