Whenever my wing is powered off, it will not stop vibrating. I am thinking that it is a hardware problem because the problem still exists even after I've flashed it. Has anyone ever had that problem?
Keep all non-development threads off the development forum, please.
I moved this to the Herald forum.
Aside from that, it sounds like a hardware problem.
had the same problem and it is indeed a hardware problem they fixed it (warranty)

Hey Guys, the new "OFFICIAL" ROM has been great!!! Unfortunately the last two days I started to encounter a problem with the earpiece of my 9100 not funtioning, what I mean is that I can only recieve and make calls via speakerphone. I'm not too sure what thread saw it in, but I believe I recall other people running into this problem(cant exactly say for sure if it was ROM related.) I was just wondering if anyone ever experienced this after the install of the latest ROM. I have installed the same exact programs to the same exact place as my original ROM(which never had this problem). Could this be hardware related? :?: I hope some one could shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it. My last resort is to due a hard reset, and if that does'nt work ship it out for warranty repairs. Also I have not dropped or mishandeled my device in any way.
Regards,
Hey guys, recently got Hermes (TyTN), it was working fine, but now, software started bugging, just in the middle of it, totally randomly freezes and I have to restart the device. So is flashing (getting new WM into it) gonna fix this or could this be a hardware problem? Like, any hardware part being broken and causing it? Tnx in advance
Cmon guys... someone had the same problem, rite?
just bumping the thread
The problem is, my TyTN stops working totally randomly, screen just freezes and I have to take out battery out and start it again. I tried changing rom to WM6.5, didn't helped, still having the same problem as before, so its not a software issue, at least I think. So can someone please tell me whats the problem? I've been fighting it for some time, and I'm really getting tired of it, so if someone has a clue what this could be, please let me now, there is no HTC servicer near by.
Ok, you guys are the worst forum ever...
Can someone at least tell me when is wiki getting back up?
Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, so I'm trying it...
Last few days I'm experiencing very strange behavior of my Blackstone concerning display alignment. When I want to touch for example Sense tabs, I need to slide my finger a little bit lower than tabs really are. Or when I try to unlock my device, I need to slide my finger lower than unlock button is and so on. I don't know why is that, but it's scaring me... I'm not sure if this is hardware of software related, but when I run display alignment, it seems to be repaired. But it lasts only few seconds or minutes and after that it gets wrong again.
Could anyone help me please? I'm using Energy.BLACKSTONE.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.Sep.18 ROM now.
Thanks a lot,
Vladino

First and most obvious query would be when did this first start, after flashing Energy rom or did this happen before? If after rom, have you tried flashing a different rom or checking rom thread for a solution? If before flashing rom, then its not related to rom and you should ask your query with General Section
Also, if my memory serves me right, a number of threads have already been created regarding screen alignment, so possibly check this forum & general forum for these threads using "screen alignment" in search
EDIT - Quick search using "screen alignment" in General section found these threads (lots more )

Hello,
thank you for your answer. Sure I was trying to search but without any feasible success. :-/
First time it happened after two weeks using previous version of Energy ROM. I didn't know why that happened, so I have flashed newer version of Energy. But it lasts only few hours since last flashing and I have registered the same strange behavior.
I'm afraid that this is hardware related... :-/
I've been suffering the same with cooked roms ; tried diff roms but no luck And now back to pavilion - wm6.1(wwe) - shipped rom.
And my prob is solved
Anyway happy cooking
Hi guys, I really need some help with my HD2. The screen has become completely unresponsive to touch (hard buttons still work, so it's not really frozen).
I've performed a task29 and all that jazz but nothing worked...sidebar - I'm a bit of a noob but I've been using custom roms for almost a year now and this is the first time it's happened.
Since this is new, for now I'm blaming the latest HyperDroid-CM7 custom rom for this problem. I would post in that thread for help but I haven't accumulated enough posts yet but when I do, I'll ask again there. However, I've been installing different roms hoping the problem would disappear but even then, the unresponsive screen persists.
Anyone got an idea as to what may have happened?
Hi, it's a well known hardware fault:
