Hi
You emailed me on this as well. You also gave some more info regarding the battery connectors being broken from the motherboard.
If the gold battery connectors have come off the motherboard then they are almost impossible to reconnect. You see, the motherboard on the device is what is known as a multi-layered board. There are connections that run between the layers on the board. The board cannot be split so that you could re-solder the battery connectors. Most often the battery connectrs split off between the layers where it is impossible to re-solder them.
If you are very very lucky the connectors have split on the surface and there might be enough of the wires on the surface of the board to have them re-soldered, but I think the chances are very low for this. You may also find that the on-board fuse has blown. This is a tiny component, but really it hardly matters unless you can be sure you have fixed the battery connectors!!
After trying modded USB cable for USB host, forgot to unplug from phone and PC then suddenly my phone shut off and came out some smoke from battery pin, the power cable clash with the ground cable
luckly I still can power on my HD2
then realize can't charge or connect to PC
brought it to the repair just to check, they said its the IC power,
here is the question, does anyone know where can I buy this online cheap?? and how can I fix it??
i would recommend you to repair it locally as i feel that power ic's are not sold separately !!
if the power ic is unrepairable then i guess you'll have to remove it from another hd2 and use it with yours or change the motherboard !!

I have here an rw6815 the usb connector is completly off.
But the Rest is complete intact.
So i repair it as i can.
I solder the connector by the 4 sideholders again.
And i fix the Power connectors.
mean USB5Volt and Ground.
The only thing that i now need to fix are the USB Signals Data+ and Data-.
Someone an idea to find the signals in the near of the connector ?
I dont can test becouse there is no rest of the line.
And HP makes good work in the circuit board i donĀ“t can follow the lines by holding a lamp so it shines through
And heres no XRaytub laying around but i think si sold wish me one by Santa at next Christmas
Hey guys, I have my wifes z5 compact that was playing up and not charging right, so I ordered a new battery and USBport/ribbon and pulled it all apart to replace as I've done in the past to other phones, but when I got in there I have discovered the clip where the usb ribbon connects to the logicboard/motherboard is damaged (see attached image)
The device otherwise boots just fine and runs great with the new battery, I am however unable to charge it now.
I attempted in vein to find a replacement port to re-solder onto the board, but I can't find the model of the port or where to get it from. If it comes to the point where I need to get a new logic board I think I'll just get a new phone.
I do not really require USB access to the unit, but is there a way to jerry-rig some of the service points on the logic board to provide power to the phone, in which case I could just divert the USB plugs power channels to those points?
Hi, i just got my BS2 Skw-H0 fixed due to problem that cannot charge and turn on by pressing power or get in to fastboot/recovery mode.
I bring my device to Authorized Service Centre in Town (in Jakarta), they fixing my problem by replacing some kind of hardware inside it, it's "USB CHARGER CHARGING BOARD DOCK PORT CONNECTOR FLEX CABLE SIM CARD BOARD MICROPHONE".
it takes 2-3 hours repairing and it's not too expensive, the price about $32 or Rp 455.000 idr.
Well i'm so glad that i got my device back in piece and turn on again. I put the image of the part that got replaced.
I hope this might help!
