Is it possible to use the mda vario wifi in promiscuous mode?
As far as I can tell this isn't possible.
I tried to run Airscanner Mobile Sniffer on the Wizard, but can't set it in promiscuous mode.
And if you look at their forum at http://forums.pocketpcfaq.com/viewforum.php?f=56& it is said promiscuous mode isn't possible on a wizard.
Is it technically possible to develop an application which would tether a laptop to the phone using WiFi in ad-hoc mode? This would be extremely useful for when Bluetooth is not an option.
Hi everybody.
Custom driver for Linksys WCF54G 802.11b/g CF-card
is located at http://winm-soft.atspace.com.
It supports promiscuous mode, monitor mode and continuous preamble mode (!!!).
It works with standard system wireless interface and various sniffers.
