If device can get into bootloader you phone is not bricked and you should be able to re-try flashing radio/rom. Have you tried a hard reset?

ok i think iv killed my m600
i flashed it with the older imate rom the 1.0.9 version
it installed 100% and rebooted and from ther it was stuck on the imate screen for like 10 minutes and i see the following text in red on the top left corner

hi there i seem to have the same problem as you with the boot screen. top left corner say's

What you could do is flash it with an newer rom
Hold camera button AND reset (be asure that it hold it while resetting)
Then... you are in you bootloader... connect the PDA with your PC..it will recognized it!
Then run the romupdate ;-)

Aren't you getting "USB" written in the bottom left corner of the 3 colour screen when you connect it to USB?
Yes i get the USB come up at the bottom of the screen my computer does not do anything. can you tell me which ROM i will need as the ones i have to run the ROM update but it comes back saying connect to ActiveSync which i can not do is there a way round this?
Final got my SPV M600 Working with the ROM from the download area thanks for the help anyway

I am stucked in BootLoader mode.
problems:
if i turn on the phone, nothing happens
if i reset the phone, nothing happens
if i hardreset the phone, greean and black sceen with ipl spl numbers.
if i take out the battery, nothing happens..
if i run the original htc wm6 setup or wm5 setup, it makes an error 300, invalid rom update utility.
i only can turn my phone to bootloader mode.
the RUU runs until i push "update" button, and then error 300!
please help me!

you ARE trying to RUU with a HERALD ruu, no?
Also, if you have a wing or a dopod, you must ruu with the tmobile or dopod variation of the RUU, respectively.
i have HTC herald (not wing or etc) black skin with grey buttons.
i tryed to flash with official wm6 ftom htc.com, and the official wm5, from the net (i dont know the source: RUU_Herald_HTC_WWE_1.8.405.1_02.71.90_Ship.exe)
but, the error is the same: 300, invalid update tool.
my friend sais: my bootloader damaged.
i must get an SD Dump from a HTC herald, same as this device, and then i have a glimmer of hope..

I also have the same probem.. after using HERALD-USPL-beta3
beucase I want to change langauge GERMANY to ENGLISH.

Its not mine phone.. Its from my Customer he bring phone to me for change language.
before I don't checked IPL / SPL
but after using HERALD-USPL-beta3
NOW IPL IS 1.08.0001 and SPL IS 1.08.0001 is also same.

i tryed with some rom from forum failed error with INVALID VENDER ID or UPDATE error

To try and recover - RE-INSTALL THE STOCK, CARRIER ROM. Then HARD SPL YOUR PHONE!!!!!
Your phone ISN'T supercid by default. Hard SPL is the best way of doing this. I can't guarantee you will fix this problem as there are a hell of a lot of others with this problem. Do a search with the words "SPL 2.03 brick flashing" and you'll see, might be able to help too.

See if they have a website. It may be WM05 though. Thats OK because you can then install Hard SPl and reflash afterwards. If you can't find........

Are you looking for this info when you turn the device on (looking at the splash screens) or when you put the device in bootloader (tri-color) mode? As far as I know, the splash screens won't show any info, but if you put the device in bootloader mode (hold down camera button and soft-reset with reset hole) the IPL and SPL should show up. Not sure where else on the phone to get this information other than running the RUU.
And it's definitely a good idea to check those numbers out before HardSPLing.

thanks so much i have the ipl and spl which shows 4.24
now i will get back to reading how to flash it
i had the imate kjam and whenever you soft reset the phone it would dispaly the ipl,spl etc on the splash screen hence i presumed that this also should apply for the 4350

I can understand your confusion, for sure. I had another phone that showed that info on the splash screen as well.

my client was trying to upgrade his HERM100 but no succeess, now the phone is powering normal again only stuck on bootloader screen.
I tried to update the rom still {ERROR 270} at 1% level.
I tried both Force using SSPL and SPL-2.02/2./0/2.30 new bootloader, it gave {260}. pls help me with a very good rom. Thanks in advance.
You are gonna need a lot of time to fix this and it may still be no good.... You may NEVER get the phone functionality back... Sorry...
