Hi there,
after I bricked and unbricked my Device (i don´t know how... it bricked by flashing the dumped original ROM) i have the problem, that the device doesn´t find any Wireless Network. I can activate it in the CommManager and the symbol in the Taskbar is seen, but no networks even if i add my network manually. I´ve tried some other Roms but the problem is still there.
Is this a known defect or bug or any idea ?
here are some Informations about the device.
Model-NR: ELF0100
ROM- Version: 1.15.162.1 GER (VODAP102) --> the original Vodafone WM6 Rom
Radio-ROM: 03.34.90 (I´ve tried 03.39.90)
IPL: 3.14.0002
SPL 3.10.cmon

Use 3.10 IPL.
It gives better results.
Try other ROMs, i know some roms cant detect Wireless.
Have you tried onyx?
Install the language pack.
One more thing, go to settings, connections, wifi and click on search for networks, instead of using comm manager.

now i´ve tried onyx ultimate and the original WM6 with IPL 3.1, 2.26 but its the same problem with all roms. It doesn´t find Wifi Networks... can it be, that the Wifi chip crashed/died by all the flashing and the brick ?

Hi to all in this forum.
I have one T-Mobile MDA Compact II PM200. In this forum i hound that his name is Charmer. I try to unlock it with Lokiwiz03a. Program give me a code but device says that code is wrong. I try with other software to unlock it and after that mobile work with SIM card but no signal
I reflash mobiele with WM6 founded her in the forum, not it have English (before have German) but again no signal. I try now to unlock it with Lokiwiz02a and choose CID unlock. Again no signal.
When device in Automatic search mode no found network. If in Manual mode found but unable to register in network. When i put mobile to my computer speakers no outgoing signal from mobile that's not normal.
What is the problem ?
Can onyone help me with information ot needed software ?

I download Radio from ftp on this form for Prophet. And try with Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.11 but now mobile not start. Go to splash screen and after few seconds restart.
I try to put it in bootloader mode but ActiveSync can't make connection and for that flash software can't wreit new radio or flash into mobile.
I ry with:
1. dowenload this t-mobile official rom (http://www.tm-phonedownloads.com/files/RUU_Compact ll_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship.exe)
2. enter your Charmer into bootloader mode by pressing power + camera + reset, let go of the reset, but keep holding power + camera until the three colur screen will show up (that is bootloader mode).
3. connect the Charmer to your pc (make sure your battery is fully charged)
4. run the t-mobile rom.
5. good luck!
but ActiveSync can't make conection.

If you are in bootloader Active Sync wont make a connection. Just plug in the usb cable into your phone while in bootloader and run RUU.

I'm guessing that this universal radio upgrade is for universal
Download this:

Extract it, copy the .nbf of the rom you want to upgrade your device with to the extracted RUU folder. Once copied - run RUU.
P.S. The problem with your device is that you have upgraded wm6 on 1.xx bootloader. Thats why the system doesnt start. If the method I described above doesnt work. Post me.

after long time i try to play agian with this brick-PM200 that haven't signal.
last time (before more 2 years) i write ROM and after that PM200 not start, only in Bootloader mode (3 color lines).

PM200 start, in begin fave full signal. after 30-40 seconds signal gone (but not test in/out call). i try to restart mobile, try hardreset, try manual search on operator - all no result.
on start i put near radio but power amplifier not work. i think that this is harware problem.

i try to write different radios for Prophet but every time get message "Invalid tool" and radio flashers stop.

before two days i repair one HTC Touch Elf100 and read that can sniff USB comunication to check Vendor ID and other ID.
but in my PM200 this not work. on Elf100 work easy like is writed here in forum.
when start wyty (or what's name is) make connections with mobile but after write:

what is the password for Charmer (PM200) ?

I can help you maybe. You need to downgrade to Aku 2.2 using the original utulity. Then the Radio will be downgraded too. But nobody knows the exact way on how to do that. (Maybe Vlodeck knows that?) I'll try to get it this week and tell you then.
As for the password try CHARMER. I have never been able to test it with MTTY cause I don't get in the right mode but I think the olny possibility is CHARMER. Just try it with whatever tool you want.

OK you have the same problem I have. You have Cmd> in the window. To get the comands and the password working you need USB> instead of Cmd>. That is the same problem I have and I don't know how to fix it.
in moment i use MTTY 1.42
before 3-4 days i repayr one HTC Touch Elf100. and this MTTY work find. no problem that write CMD not USB.
terminal show CMD> i write commands and mobile answer w/o problem.
but in my Charmer not answer.
possible reason is access password. but not sure.
There are simple comands. And for them you don't need SuperCID. I tried them and they haven't worked too. So I think there is something else with it. Maybe the Bootloader locks all comands and you need a password for that too. But I don't know about that.

Well, we can't SuperCID and Security unlock a Charmer with a bootloader over 1.x at the moment. This is surely impossible. That won't work using a SD Card too. So I think you will not have any luck.

I just upgraded to WM6. Now I have 2 Problems:
1. I can't connet to WIFI Hotspot
2. After Softreset and entering the PIN it says "No service" (but not all the time)
3. I am using Voice Command 1.6 but I dont hear the announcements through my Headset
Can anyone help?

1. Depends on hotspot encryption (you can do this trick: turn on wifi trough wlan manager start-settings-connections-wireless lan, it will turn on and turn off by itself, then turn on wireless trough comm manager, it will start but it will not connect to any network, so turn it off from comm manager and turn it on again and if the encryption is supported it will connect)
2. This never happened to me, try to clean your sim card contacts
3. I had this problem with WM5 also but i not remember the solution, try to search the forums for one

2. It's only after a sofreset. When I go from the phone-application into Menu-Options-Network and klick the button "Find Network" then it finds my GSM-Network and everything is Ok
3. Problem not yet solved. Can't find any usable threads.
By the way. It doesn't show at the top of the screen that my headset is connected. I only see it in the phone-application. Any solution for this?

did you upgrade the radio firmware? I had some issue's with the radio after wm6, I upgraded to 1.15 and all the problems where fixed...

NO services gsm, after soft reset
I don´t have apply rom radio update in my qtek 9090 (blue angel)...
My radio rom version is 1.06...
If I apply a soft reset, I lost my signal gsm...
After 2 tries (2 soft reset), the signal come back...
I have a problem when I try apply rom radio upgrade to 1.15.
(connection failed, after activesync is closed in my pc).
(PS: using upgrade_noID)

My Herald have a big problem. it's freeze on the HTC spash screen and can't load the ROM. I've made a hard rest, it's done but the problem ist still present.
I've download the Windows Mobile 6 RUU on the HTC official site but it's impossible to do the rest because ActiveSync is not connected with my phone. How can i resolve my problem without ActiveSync?

Have you placed the phone into bootloader mode before using the RUU? (Holding the camera down and pressiing the soft reset button?)
Activesyn won't recognize the phone if connected during bootloader ... but if the phone says "USB" on the bottom left, you can run the RUU and it will work.
My device display "USB" in bootloader mode when i connect it to my PC.
But the problem is that the pc can't detect a new device connected...
When i try to flash by the SD card my herald can't detect the card!
I'm affraid! Please HELP ME!!!

Everything was working fine, till i installed a Schap´s 6 button comm manager.cab
The new comm manager was not able to turn wifi on, but i still could do it through connections label or Battery status tray icons.
But i read that ins some cases when wifi doesent unable you can delete from the registry the key WLAN in :[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\CommManager]
So i did it... after that i am no able to turn WIFI/WLAN on
even from where i could (manually in connection label or Battery status)
I installed some comm manager.cabs to recover that key.
So now The WLAN registry key is there again there but
Wlan is not working any more.
I also read about some cases that wifi is ****ed from the rom, but i think is not my case ´cos it was just installing new cabs. and deleting that key.
I hope someone can help.

In order to solve a bug issue, I also flashed the Radio from 2.25.xx to 2.19.11 ((suggested by TNT)).
At this point, I have the letter "E" in a box next to the Radio Signal Strength Bars. To the best of my knowledge this used to be a "G."
