Xbackup & Ringtone problem

Dropped my phone this morning & it hard reset. Problem is, even WITH a backup made on my SD card, it's a waste of time.
when I restore....there is AWAY a sound problem which is creatd by it. When someone PHONES, the ringtone skips every three seconds. This isn't a software problem which was backed up, it just HAPPENS. music and system sounds play find, ust the actual ringerin call...
has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it, short of hard reset and building everything manually again?
Thanks.

Try using SPBBackup next time.
Works perfectly on my XDA II .

Phone application screen freeze with android ROM"s

Hi this is my first post on the forum.I"ve searched for similar issues, but I didn"t find anything.I bought a HD2 last month and installed various android ROM"s,everything fine since last week. Now my HD2 have this issue:
-I make a phone call and after 2 seconds the screen goes black and freeze. If I want to activate the loud speaker I can"t because screen is black and not responding.I can have the conversation,I can close the conversation from power button, but screen remains black and non responsive. When I close a conversation the phone remains nonresponsive for 5-10 minutes, and after that everything goes to normal.
-I have this issue since last week, until then every android rom that I"ve installed worked just fine.
Now I have on phone HD2_Core_Droid_Desire_HD_V1.5_Release_Version
and I"m having this problem with every Rom that I"ve installed since last week
I start thinking that it"s a harware problem,I don"t know...
Is anybody else who experience this problem?
Thank you very much, and excuse my poor english.I"m a Romanian living in Spain
Nobody have this problem or a fix?I"ve tryed everything with different radios and ROMs...
strange. i don't have that problem.
I"ve just installed official vodafone WM 6.5 ROM for spain and I have "almost" the same issue:
-during call screen goes black and no way to open it.
-the difference is that when I hang up screen goes on instantly and no freeze.
What is that,hardware malfunction?
sounds like a hardware issue
I hope not...
I"ve noticed that if I enable the loud speaker in the first 2 seconds(before screen goes black),the phone is not freezing, and no black screen, everything just work fine as it should.
I"m out of ideas...
Edit:I am now on [CWR-CLEAN] BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER HoneyComB V11 (30.Mar).
I see some people on this forum that have the same problem too.Nobody have a solution still?
Try an app from the Android market called 'Call Light'. It's supposed to keep your screen lit up at all times during calls, but what it has done for me is that when in a call, the screen still goes black when the phone is to my ear, but as soon as I take the phone away from my head, the screen lights up again instantly.
I had almost the same probkem as you do before using this app, except that as soon as the call was over, everything was back to normal (didn't stay black for the 5-10 mins after calls) now all is ok for me.
It might not work for you, but it's definitely worth a shot.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
I have same problem, too.
But i never cannot unlock my phone, so i cannot install that app, too

Yeah,I"ve already do that but not works for me.Sometimes (few times),phone app run just fine but many times I got that annoyng black screen. To get back to normal I have to do a reboot or to make a call from another phone to my hd2,then screen comes back.I don"t have this issue with incoming calls, only with outgoing calls(when I call somebody). When I make a call I have to activate loud speaker in the first 2 seconds to evitate black screen issue,in that way screen stays on during call and after I hang up I have no freeze problem.
I have "call light" installed, unchecked proximyty sensor in menu and checkedd the option that makes the screen stay on longer during conversation.
I am on BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA DESIRE HD GLass A2SD V12 (23.Apr)

Note that if you plug your cable to pc the phone will unfreez and will be laggy for secounds, did you try to change your SD card?
Solution
Everything difficult-is easier)
Just clean dust on the sreen, where sensor is situated.
ANd choose a ROM with Tytungs kernel 12.4v3 (with solved libsound issue) or a SENSE based ROM

[Q] Phone Restarting?

My phone has randomly started restarting lately when listenin to music via headphones, when locks up it the screen will not come on, the phone will not unlock and the song will finish then it restarts and gets stuck on the galaxy logo, it will only come on again if I take out the battery for at least a few mins, a quick pullout and put back in doesnt work.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Using Latest 2.3.3 JVO stock rom, not modified in any way and using PlayerPro for music, never had this problem before.
I was in the same case that you. To manage it, I downgrade to Froyo, and finally I use CM7 which looks like a lot more stable than the last version of the official ROM!

[q] [help needed] touch unresponsive sometimes and vibrations on boot

Hi!
My phone was working fine when I was using MIUI NAND ROM. But whenever I switched onto data connection it used to hang and the only solution left was pull out the battery..
So I changed the ROM back to stock W6.5 (R - 2.15.50.14 D-3.14)
Now the problem is Phone works fine for say 10-15 mins and then it restarts itself. At this point after restarting it gives 7 vibrations and then gets stuck at HTC logo.
Then when I keep my phone switched off for say 5-10 mins it again starts normally but only for 10-15 mins..
This happens with Android as well as Stock W6.5 ROM..
Does anyone has a fix on this??
I need my phone in normal condition desperately..

I9301I Issues

Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me out with this issue I've been having with my Galaxy S3 Neo.
Some time ago my phone started to randomly crash internal android services and processes. It kept working after reboots until up to a point. The things that didn't work properly were Music apps, phone and (so I figured) all apps that somehow are connected to audio. A factory reset did not fix my issue.
I brought my phone to a local repair shop and they fixed it with some sort of factory reset, which they told me was done over reinstall by PC.
It worked for a few months and I had no problems at all.
Now, since a few days, my phone starts acting up again.
I don't get the crash reports like I used to get, but it's 'dying' nonetheless.
It started with the Facebook app not working anymore, it kept 'looping' the 'setting up facebook'-message and crashing the locations process, so I deleted the app.
That helped for a bit.
Now:
- I can't call anymore, it hangs.
- I can't listen to music, it hangs.
Again, any sound/audio related apps make my phone crash or hang.
The Music app, I can start it up, press play and it just doesn't respond. It says it's playing, but the counter remains on 0:00.
The weird thing is, that when I hook my phone up to my Bluetooth car stereo, it plays music fine.
It seems that whenever the phone is trying to connect to the speaker, it has issues...
A factory reset through settings didn't fix it, and neither did a hard reset in recovery mode..
Help is required!!! Please!!!!
I tried CWM, wiping everything, put CM12 on it, but no luck. Could it be that the speaker(s) is (are) dead and Android can't work properly when that happens?
