After installing HERALD.ASerg.12.WM61E.WWE rom, and installing some programs on my herald, my phone did not start up(the rom worked just fine before installing the programs).
I probably made a mistake because my spl and ipl is 1.08(i cant say if it was that way before installing the rom or if the rom changed it).
I tried flashing official wm5 rom, official wm6 rom and because i canont instal via usb(it begins the instalation then "try a newer update utility"), tried no vendor utility(still not working), i tried sd flashing but i get "sercurity level not cleared"(if using heradiag.nbh) and if not using heradiag.nbh it's checking the sd card and does nothing.
I'm using only official roms.
Please help me.

Hello. I'm having major issues installing Touch-IT wm6.1 19199.1.0.0 - Full. I've installed at least 5 ROMs on my phone and have never ran into any issues. When I try to install the ROM it gives me error 270: The image file is corrupted. I've done Hard SPL and even installed the original TMO ROM but I cannot get any other ROM installed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

but when try to UPDATE it show me image version which is lower than mine and after cliking next, error message comes " ERROR 202"
tryed to uninstall "Activesync" and install again.. still same problem.. tryed 3 diferent HARDSPL... same problem.. need help.
Are you trying to flash an LZX compressed ROM through Activesync instead of via your SD card? Sounds like you are.

i solved. The problem was that i was using USB hub to connect. All now is OK, already installed WM6.5.. working good..

I want to install a version of 6.5, but everytime it stops at 3% with the notice, that my ruu is corrupted (Error [270]).
So i tried to flash via SD-Card. Renamed the ROM from RUU_Signed.nbh to ARTEIMG.nbh but sometimes the orbit means, that the ROM isnt certificated but mostly the Orbit cant find anything.
So, please help me

I used to have a similar problem every time I tried with WM 6.1 till yesteray.
The solution I found was,
Use USPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403&page=69)
Before you start USPL, be sure to remove SD card and SIM card from your phone and follow the procedure as in PDF there
Then flash whatever ROM you want to.

I just bought a used Diamond 2 and wanted to update it to 6.5.
But when i try it stops for at 9% and then looses connection with the PC but recovers and continues to 18% then it stops and the RUU wants to recover the installation, that resulted in the same error.
Luckely I tried the offical 6.1 installation, and that installd OK so my phone is OK.
But why can´t I install 6.5?
I checked with the guy i bought it from, and he said it has been flashed before with a dutty or tom´s rom.
Can this be why it wont load?
I check the bootloader screen (thanks to Drag-On guide) and i says SPL-1.33. OliNex MicroP-Topaz (LED) v10
Do I need 1.83 to install offical 6.5?
I am using swedish rom since I am swedish.
Can anyone help me?

Try hard spl 1.83, then try re-flashing your 6.5
If it still won't flash, try a different rom. Download a cooked rom, Tess 4.0 for instance, and see if you can flash it. If you can, there is probably an error with the original rom. Tess is close to stock anyway, but faster and better

yeah try hard spl 1.83 1st and then u'll be able to flash wm 6.5.
that's the only wayt to do it, otherwise it'll remain stuck at 18% everytime u try to flash the new rom

I am unable to run the stock ROM Utility for my phone. I have tried doing what it says in the Read-Me file and it hasn't helped. I have tried it with phone running normally and in boot loader mode too, but I am getting this error all the time.
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.3_Radio_52.49a.25. 26_1.09.25.14_Ship is my stock ROM which I downloaded from wiki pages.
I want to load Energy ROM on my device from Miri. I would do it straight up i.e. normal ROM loading procedure but I've read that it's recommended to install the Stock ROM (No, I would not like to do Task 29 since I am sticking with USPL) and then install Energy.
I tried a bit but couldn't find any solutions.

What's wrong with going the HardSPL route?
I would like to stick to the stock SPL thats why.
I did try to evade that error by the way by going into bootloader mode and upgrading to the latest drivers and not the ones that we use to install cooked ROM's; the setup ran fine but then came back with the Invalid Vendor ID.
When I installed Miri's ROM, this is the exact ROM & Radio version I had, so how come I have had this error? Any ideas
I would give straight installation from Miri's to Energy a go but then at the moment Miri's ROM is running kind of "ok" apart from battery drainage and with upgrading without flashing the stock rom, I fear I might start to get those errors and I would be back to square one of flashing a stock ROM; hence my idea of flashing the stock ROM.
I found the solution. Apparently I was selecting the incorrect ROM. I realised that when I got the Invalid Vendor ID error. I bought this phone second hand and I just reliased that it was on Orange. Flash to Stock ROM worked now preparing to flash kwbr's ROM

I wanted to return to the original W.M 6.5 in order to install new Android NAND, so I formatted my SD card, placed the image and loaded the bootloader. Unfortunately, the installation was interrupted. After that when trying to repeat the procedure bootloader says "Upgrade ROM code error Please try again" . I am trying again, but the same thing happens over and over again. I tried installing it via USB connection, but it installs 1% and gives the same error "000028002 NOT ALLOW".
Does that mean that I have bricked my phone and if not, how am I to fix that and install what I wanted to install?
Message says it all. ROM code error.
Fliashing from SD will remove HSPL so you have no CID bypass.
ROM you are flashing is not matching your devices country ID so you need to find a ROM that is correct to flash via SD or flash via USB & flash a suitable HSPL first.
Before proceeding flashing, check ROM & radios are correct for your device as too many people are bricking their devices by silly mistakes these days.

My phone is an Orange bought form UK. I fount the required ROM (ver. 3.14), but the same thing happens again. I tried to find the original 1.72, but it cannot be foung anywhere. Any ideas?
