well i was using W.M 6Pro from Schaps and i wannted W.M 6.1 Elegance edition > started instaled in middel of instalation ActiveSync closed :| and wend i start the trinity dosen't open stai with opening of teh W.M6.1 elegance edition and dosen't open ...
If sombody know's somthing or have'd same problem? pls help sow sad

You can flash your Trinity with a Original Rom or you can flash your Trinity with the Rom over your sd card.
You can find all what you need here at XDA site but i have no time now t search it for you sry.

the thing its the htc dosent start its going only at the state were says W.M 6.1 elagance edition after that should start but nothing .. stay's like that .. and the ActiveSync can't find it to connect sow i can change my rom
its there anotherway to do this ?

You need to put it into Bootloader menu and than you can flash your trinity but i dont know how you can put it into bootloader menu becouse i didnt need it

Universal qtek 9000 Problem. What im doing wrong?

Hello good friends,
Im from Portugal and i have a qtek 9000 since 2006. In the last days i decide to improve my universal performance...
i try everything to update my qtek since the software is very old ( windows mobile 5 2005)
After a lot of hours searching in this forum, i download a lot of software from all the posible tutorials.
From evk to updatev2, kitchen, etc.
With the kitchen in the last part i always get an error of the extended rom.
With the update, it only appear the nk file.
I try to download one of the radio files, but without sucess and i donw know what to choose
I dont know what to do more, since i use the romupgradeut, but now the qtek only start in the first image where tells the version of rom and hang up, freeze, dont do the all restar.
The only thing that work it is the soft and hard reset. With the bootloader appears usb when connected and serial disconected.
Can you guys help me find a full package including the last windows mobile, the last radio definitions, the extended rom and all i need to upgrade my qtek.
I really dont know what to do more, even the qtek logo image not appear any more.
Sorry for all this questions, but i see in this forum you are my only hope.
Please help me.

did you read and answer Simon request ?
what are the error message ?
I currently have a qtek9000, and i made my first upgrade late 2006.
I was using XP sp2, activesync, and a software called uniextROM...
Later, I have tried using vista and win7, both requiered installation of USB Mobile Modem Driver and disabling activesync or mobilesync.
so be more precise when you post you issue.

Hi Guys,
How can i read the errors? Where can i find it?
Sorry for all the noob questions.
All i can see in the universal is a dead phone without any kind of signal when turned on

Yes, i can get in the bootloader. When i connect appears usb.
The problem is i dont know what files i should load.
Can you give me the links to the files i should use. Sorry for the trouble.

HTC HD Mini - I Love It

Hello,
Sry for the titel, but my HTC HD Mini EVER HANGS
There isnt any moment without any crashed and lags !
I restart the Phone 5-10 times the day just because it doesnt reagize to anything !
I just want to take my Phone and take a Baseballstick and......
Its a Problem with the Software I think because Phone is like new and there wasnt any problem with water oder anything ealse ! It didnt fall down anytime !

btw Mini is running WM 6.5.3
p.s. when you ask for help be DETAILED,or no one will try to help you..this is just an advice

your father bought it for you, isn't it? Then it cannot be a HD Mini as they are not officially sold in the USA. However it can be bought on eBay or whatever...
There isn't such a thing as WM6.2, the Mini comes with WM6.5.3 (build 23103). Just check your WM build number. (Manila Settings tab -> Info about phone -> Software info)
If it isn't 23103, flash a stock ROM.and see if its better.

But Windows XP says the hotfix exe isnt a right programm for win32

Yes... I use SSPL for upgrading and testig the roms and it works fine.

did you sync phone and laptop with activesync?

@Tzapacapa: that's not necessary I flashed much ROM's with Mobile Device Center not running (maybe it was running without foreground notice)
I have had this too a few times. Hard resetting before flashing solved it for me though

[Q] Help please !! I crashed my Mda Pro

sorry about my english.
On my Mda i would installed the sd-version of android .
Before this, i update my radio rom from 1.17 to 1.18.
But during the update/ installation i become an error.
Since that, my Mda show me the bootloader (serial/usb).
No chance, to run the "exit-bootloader" file, because the usb-connection is killed.
I have deinstalled and installed the windows mobile devicemanager, but nothing happend.
My last chance, to activated the hardreset had no function.
A call to HTC linked me to xda-developers.com
So, can someone help me, please ?

Try the advice I posted here. Don't forget, to follow my advice you need to ensure Activesync or Mobile Device centre is configured to NOT connect via USB.

My OS is 7 and i've tried your post. On the screen of my MDA i see "USB".
I've deselect "connect via USB" in Windows mobile device centre...the driver for Win 7 was updated.
The problem: there's no usb- option in mtty , which i can select...only com1 and com2.
So i try another cable and test it again.

I don't think it will be the cable. I had problems using Win 7 and went back to my old XP laptop. Do you have another system you can use or can you load a virtual XP machine? I have never successfully used mtty on a Win 7 machine - sorry!

Yes I did but it was very slow and my XDA Exec vibrated lots and LOTS but I think that is just how the Android build sets itself up on the HTC Universal. I tried it twice and got the same results so went back to VNInt's build of Win 6.1

Now i'm using Tomal V12 WM6.5 build 23089, but i'm looking around to find a "better" rom.
The reason to update my rom was the app "Whatsup", which runs on Androids...
