hi folks, i recently found this application 'Point UI'. You may find some other threads for this, as well. It provides kindda iPhone interface to windows mobile. I ain't crazy for Apple iPhone user interface and themes, but i am sure, there are some people who would definitely appreciate a change.
This software, i have tried on WM5/WM6, works perfectly on them. People usin' WM2/WM3, can try at their own risk and lemme know the compatibility. It is not exactly iPhone interface, but the basic Slide and Touch Navigation works perfectly fine without any hassles. On top of that, people like me, usin' windows mobile with the same good old interface would surely enjoy this change.
And sorry, for not being able to post this application here. Some account related issue, is there. That's why i am posting it on rapidshare. You can PM me, if you face any difficulty in downloadin' i'll e-mail it to you.

I think you could stay more polite here! Do you want to go through 500+ pages to find a post when you are looking for it then go on supporting double posting! In my opinion this is kind of double posting beacuse everywhere in this forum posts concerning PointUI are popping up and on each page you'll find the string 'PointUI' at least one time!

I thought I'd put your statement to the test! On entering this forum, there is only this thread which mentions PointUI, therefore unless one is used to the ways of how forums work and this one in particular, only a search would have revealed what you are saying.
Sometimes people come across things in different places and believing they have found something amazing, they just rush over to xda devs to share the good news.
More experienced ones are more inclined to do an internal search first.
Whilst I agree that you are right about being more polite here...apologies to anyone offended, you might take some time out to remember what it's like to be a newbie at something or less experienced than someone else.
Someone makes an innocent mistake by 'who's standards?' but it is very helpful to others who happen to be browsing.
Anyway nuff said. I'll keep quite for now, but if anyone ever flames me like that, I'm sure to speak up.

Its powered by a hampster in a wheel which come with a custom water bottle (for more SPEED)!!! And just when I thought it couldnt get any better, THERE WAS MORE!!!! When you hit the red button located on the atari screen, your able to use it as a can opener, screw driver, and hair drier! Plus we just downloaded a freeware program which unlocked the MICROWAVE & TOASTER OVEN FUNCTION! This thing is also equipped wth 22 inch Giovani spinners and two kenwood 12inch subs. Its also a good babysitter for those long nights out! Im no tech, but Ill post pics in 3564 years! Im not disagreeing with the mods. This guy should have been banned. But I dont disagree with vogue_trip either. I mean look at it. This guy made up a post that everyone knew was fake. Apparently used three screen names to do it, and its still not closed. Its pulled alot of time away from peoples threads that were serious. XDA is by far the best sight around. Anyone with a PPC comes here for every answer there is. The guy who started all of this is a joke and in my opinion doesnt deserve the benefits from this amazing sight. I noticed he was doing similar things @ ppcgeeks as well. So I dont disagree with this guys frustration but h went about it all wrong. So Im sticking with my opinion, 2 posts or a milliion. They all need ban. They dont deserve the excellent services on this site.

Ive been customizing my own roms ever since i got my first one. Its common sense. How many have i posted and put my name on? 0. It was not my work,so i would never try to take credit and put my name on a product that i had less than 1% participation in the creation of. If that was the case id have @ least 12 roms of MY titling. I honestly think its sad that ppl think they can name a rom,that:
1.)You cut and pasted. A 7yr old could do that.
2.)Is clearly less than 1% your own work,especailly offending the guys that do the REAL work to make our roms,Toast,Flipz,Gbhil and crew...
3.)Is free to anyone through AOSP,android open source project.
Give credit where due and dont rename your own version. If you cant cut and paste some files to customize* your rom,you shouldnt even be here. Doing something thats SIMPLE COMMON SENSE should not permit you to steal someone else's hard work and butcher it. Honestly WHERE WOULD ALL THESE WANNABE ROMS BE W/O ALL THE BIG DAWGS(Gbhil,Toast,Flipz,...etc)hard work and coding? Oh wait,they wouldnt have ANYTHING to add a stupid cheesy name to.

No.I do not need it. BTW, thanks for your reply when i needed assistance the other day. Im not new. I run my own android website and i fix android devices in the forum. I dont like to flood threads here, i normally use this site for info and feedback on roms and root issues i cannot solve myself. I just really apprecaite ppl that can do things that i would like to be able to do and flashing new roms is a bit of fun for me, and w/o their work i wouldnt be able to do this stuff until i purchase my next device. Just giving props to the rightful owners....

OK people, as you all can see kifno is gone. We spoke at length by PM in the last few days, and the result was decent. He asked me post this for him after he left, so here it is:

It got annoying to see his name on everything new out there. The tweak turned out to be sh!t. Some people are saying he already came back with a new name.

He was just tring way to hard for his own good in my opinion there have been much worse out there anyone remember sandix from the webos port what a freakin douche lol. i would have died if that had been succesful lol.

Yeah, I didn't really have a problem with him because he meant well for heroc nor did I want him to "leave". I just think the way he's handling all this by deleting his Kifno account to take the easy way out is callow.
If he posted that PM instead of having il Duce post it, I for one would have more respect towards him. We all Most of us (not including me ) make mistakes; learn from them and move on.

whats the point of just making a new account if your gonna leave then leave.
I can see the reasons for leaving it and creating a new name.. even on owning up to one's mistakes on here there are some of us that don't let things go.. and would have harassed him any way.. i wasn't a kifno fan by any means so not sticking up for him.. and making a new account to not be like the other one would take more discipline than I think he has any way.. its hard to change who you are, or at least convince people you are different..

I agree with the above poster: you should then add those two options, too. I for example have multiple friends who belong in both of these "extra" categories, it'd be nice to be allowed to select something other than the default two..
That said I'm a happy female A500 owner And so far I've seen atleast two others here, that erica_renee -- Hiya there if you're reading this! -- and someone else who's nickname I don't remember.

I don't equate chromosomic gender with perceived gender, that's the difference.
Let's just stick to chromosomic gender or the OP will have to add waaaay more options to the poll.
As for me... I'm a man, my wife that also uses Iconia is a woman and sometimes I wish I had a camel but I don't know if the last one counts.

Guy here. I bought it to replace the bulky Netbook I had. Yes, for what I use it for, usually lounging on the couch or reading, a Netbook is too big.
However, it seems my wife has taken an immediate attachment to it, so it usually ends up in her hands within a half hour of my getting home from work.
